If I could give them 0 stars I would. My gf called asking to have someone look at our water heater under warranty. They charged us $200 and said it would only be $80. Then they quoted us $1300 to fix it and the replacement part is only $200 a new water heater is cheaper than that. I was just unhappy with how the situation was handled. My gf got scammed I sent them on their way and am going to have someone else do it. Not the technicians fault just bad company to work with specifically management. They could of made this right. Very disappointed and I give honest reviews.

I wish I could give a NO STAR rating. Recently we had a clogged sewer line problem. I was stressed when the line backed up. I went to the web and picked a Attaboy Plumbing, an established company from Chico. The service takes the weekend and two days to come to the house. They asked $500 to clear the clog and would not start on the repair until I signed an agreement to pay the bill. They sent me a contract to my phone. I did not read the contract carefully. It was very small type, too small. They went to work and said they could not find the clog--and that the $500 plan did not guarantee they could clear the clog (this was stated in the contract, but never verbally mentioned)--clearing a clog successfully was in their $1200 package. And he went away after giving me a bid for $4,200 to fix the clog and a broken line. He drove away without me accepting the bid of $4200. They drove away charging me $500 and the pipe was still a clogged and the drains were still backing up. And I am stuck paying the $500!

Brian was great. We had bad leak in 2 hoses behind washing machine! He fixed it all perfectly same day. He and even removed hard mineral deposits he found.
Thank you AttaBoy plumbing for taking such great care of us! You guys are wonderful! I highly recommend these plumbers!

Honestly if I could give NO stars I would . So I had an issue with my toilet clogging up , ( I was potty training and my daughter kept flushing wipes down the toilet) so it was pretty bad ! It was all over the shower ect.
So when I initially called I was given a ""quote"" they never asked me the questions every plumber company should ask as in :
When was the home built ?
Are you home owners or renters ?

We were renters and never did they ask me those questions . Red flag number one
Red flag number two: the guys that came never put covers over their shoes to enter the home they will
Come inside with their work boots (unprofessional)
Third red flag : they only provide digital receipts !
Fourth red flag : charged $485 for legit 30 minute job ! Like wow I didn't know they charge by the miente not the hour
Fifth red flag: my husband and I are both disabled, I was on a zoom call at the time of the signing of documents and he is half blind . So therefore when the guys came over to hand him the tablet my husband thought it said $98 which was NOT the price . Had they explained the pricing throughly we would have paid them for their estimate and kicked them to the curb where they belong . It said we were ""saving"" $98 dollars . The price for the services was $485 !!! Yup you heard that right 4 8 5 !!!!!!! Ridiculous! So I ended up calling the office and spoke to the owner or manager there at the time . And after basically harassing me saying that ""My guys will follow you to the bank to write a cashiers check"" ""We are not leaving until we get paid"" ""Alright we'll my guys will be waiting out there until we receive payment"" ect . I wasn't refusing to pay , they did a service and I was willing to pay however I wasn't aware of the outrageous pricing and was letting him know if we can work something out . After going back and fourth , the price was lowered to $300 (still high) but it was doable . For a company to question an individual whether or not I have a bank account , is absurd . We have an account through our state Disability but not to where my husband and I can get a cashiers check . The way he said that he would have them follow me made me sick to my stomach. I immediately let my landlord know he is elderly so he was able to contact his grandson and two plumbers came out to the home and said that job was not worth $485 . If he had not been sick at the time of the incident, I would have called him for a maintenance check , but he wasn't available and said he would reimburse us for getting a plumber to come out and fix the issue (which he did) . Here are two adults with disabilities.... Two adults who were belittled and harassed . Imagine this being your parents , grandmothers and fathers.... Would you really want a company to try and lure them for more money ... absolutely NOT. Just look at all the bad reviews on here , it's disturbing to know a company like then are still in business .... ! EVERY BAD REVIEW LEFT INDICATES outrageous pricing and many getting scammed for their hard earned money ! And FYI this happened in August 2022 but since I was blocked from Instagram, at least here my post won't get taken down, or my comments won't get reported . From a sincere person who truly cares about the Chico community and people with disabilities DON'T give these guys your money ! Disgusting human beings . And to those who left bad reviews you can fill out a complaint online through the contractors website for California. They will get flagged and investigated after so many complaints!

Oh and I'll be GLADLY waiting for a response

Needed my main drain snaked. Charged $79.00 to come out. When they arrived, they said it would be $500.00 to snake the drain. I sent him on his way and called Roto-Rooter. They came in a couple of hours and charged $139.00. My advice is to call other plumbers and drain cleaning companies before using Attaboy.

Worst experience with a plumber ever. Charges 2000 and did not fix anything. Them gave me an estimate for 10 thousand to fix the problem. I called a different company and they fixed the problem for 500

For small 1 hour jobs do not hire this company! We were charged $950 for changing out a cheap kitchen faucet that cost $50-$100 dollars! Outrageous pricing! We will never ever use them again! Pass the word along not to use this company!!!

Long story short, I was charged a ""discounted"" amount of $892 for a 68 minute repair job from arrival to leaving, on a pvc pipe that I already dug around and located. I was also told when I called, they would arrive between between 2-4 pm. Didn't show up and I called at 4:29 was told within the hour for arrival, it was 5:55 when they arrived, they left at 7:03, and I missed out on hours of my own work because of the delay and lack of communication to notify me they wouldn't be there until 6..

I had a leaky main line that I located the area, i dug out for easy access, they came and assessed the repair and said it wouldn't be a hard fix. Spent 36 minutes on the pvc repair, spent 25 minutes waiting for the pvc to bond and dry. Tested the water, pressure was fine and then paid the amount since why would I try to negotiate with the employee, shame on me. I contacted their office and was told it's a per job amount and not hourly, and when I mentioned that it's over $700/hour for the amount work and when I compared to the going rates that it was extremely high. I was told that the cost was to keep vans and tools in proper working order, for the office to be open and insurances paid. Guess I'm in the wrong line of work. I was then questioned where my sources were for where I obtained the information if going rates and that I was unable to receive any discount. I was told my bill was already discounted several hundred dollars from the original amount because I had already dug the hole, but $892 for approx $15 of pvc pipe and glue and 1.125 hours of labor is thievery. Will be recommending against using this company, I advise to call around before reaching out to this company.

Our kitchen sink was clogged so I tried this place. They wanted $521 to snake the sink. 30 minutes of labor. Total rip off manipulation and I see now I should have read Michael R.'s Yelp review but unfortunately I only looked at Google reviews.

Just got scammed. Wish I read Michael R.'s review. Didn't realize if I argued the price would have been reduced. Kitchen sink was clogged and they told me it would cost $521.00. No parts, just labor, 30 minutes. Unreal. My friend is a plumber in SoCal and he told me he charges $150 for that. Never using just Google reviews without looking at Yelp again.
