Stay away - zero star rating actually. They were a no-show recently and after I contacted them by phone and they promised to get back to me quickly, they never did and they never answered their phone again. They were supposed to come out on 19 May 2017 between 9-11am for a tank draining and were a no show; they did not call to say they would be late or needed a reschedule. (I had been rescheduled once already.) At 11:30 I called and got hold of a woman who said she would check on it and see when they would be out, and would get back to me ""immediately."" After waiting 2 hours for a call back (I was doing other things while waiting) I called back and their phone just rang and rang - I let it ring 15 times each time; it never answered and no answering machine picked up. I checked the number and tried again with same results ... and had the same results an hour late - using two different phones each time. It's as if they went out of business that very day .... which I have since heard seems to have been the issue. Either they went out of business or possibly shutdown for awhile. Either way, they handled customer service very poorly. I could have understood and respected them if they had just told me the truth that they couldn't make it due to company issues and that they couldn't reschedule me anytime soon (although I may not have been particularly happy about it).

This business is not responsive to phone calls or emails. They completed an inspection on our property and never turned over the results of our water test or application for permit of work to Prince William County Health Department. This has cost us more time, money and frustration. Go elsewhere if you're looking for reliable folks to work on your septic.

Have used this company in the past but never again...Scheduled my septic tank to be pumped, was given a time from of 9-11, at 1:30 called and was told they were on an emergency call and had no idea when someone would be out, so rescheduled again given the time from of 9-11, at noon no show, called and was told again on a emergency call, I have no problem with the fact that they were on on an emergency call (if that indeed was the fact) but to not be notified of the delay, not an acceptable business practice!!!!!

This would actually be zero stars if that would be an option. After being referred to this business by my neighbor, I scheduled an appointment for a routine pump out. They gave me a time frame of 9-11am 2 weeks from the call. I never received a reminder phone call and the day of the service call the company was a no show. I called 15 times (really, I was upset and my call history proves it) to no avail. The phone rang and rang with no one to answer and there was no answering machine. Thank you for wasting my time. Stay far, far away from this business - don't have them waste your time too.

I'd like to post a very negative review of Atlas Tank & Drain located in Manassas,Va
I'm in the middle of selling my house and have a long list of thing I have to do in a short amount of time.
One of which is to have my septic system checked and pumped.
I set it up with Atlas for May 5th from 9 to 11:00 am but they arrived an hour late.
After digging and probing around for an hour and a half they left and said the would finish up on Friday the 6th but wanted paid in full.
It's the 10th and I still have two gaping holes in the yard with big piles of dirt killing the grass under them. Do not use this company and if you do, don't pay them till the job is complete

I can not say enough good things about the service I received. I called and the next morning they came out. They were on time and quick to diagnose the problem. Justin was outstanding. He was polite and professional. I needed more than the pumping of the drain. The estimate was fair and again they came back the same day to install. They made a stressful situation much less painful. Thank you again to Atlas and to Justin.

I will NEVER use this company again! Work was not completed in a timely manner. A simple replacement of a single distribution box took 5+ months to complete. A large hole was left open in the yard for 3+ months. Despite a verbal promise that the yard would be returned to its prior condition (""It will be like we were never there""), the yard was left with rock/debris, mud, deep ruts, cigarette butts, and uneven surfaces. Communication was abysmal and they used every excuse in the book as to why the work was not done yet. Very poor customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
