Happy to give 5 stars to Atlantis Plumbing. Chris came out as scheduled and took care of the problem at hand in record time. He was clearly knowledgable and knew how to fix the problem. This was just three days ago and I have had no recurring problems since he replaced the Pressure Release Valve on the water heater. Great attitude and with the confidence that comes with knowledge and skill in his area of expertise. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would request that Chris take care of any future plumbing problems that may occur. Very unusual to find a good plumber just by doing searches on the internet and on Yelp, but am grateful for Yelp for offering this service to consumers so that they can read reviews and form an opinion of vendors that they might like to employ. For me, at least this time, it was a great gift that landed me a quality vendor and a good technician!

I am a single, female homeowner and I discovered a water leak under my house and suspected the water heater. I called Atlantis and they came out as discussed. The work was good and I have hot water and no leaks, but here is the problem. We discussed the cost for a new water heater installation. He said it would be about $2000. He gave me 3 options. First, to fix the pressure valve which is causing the problems but not recommended, second, to purchase the water heater and materials at home depot (which he would not recommend because the equipment there is overpriced and cheaply made) and pay the labor or third, pay all in cash with a 10% discount and he said the water heater comes from a plumbing supply warehouse which I would have a warranty on labor and materials. Of course, I chose the third option and planned on paying $1800. Now, after the work is done which was good work, I see the invoice and the cost is $2150 with a 10% discount. The cost is $1935. So, really I got a 3.3% discount from a $2000 cost. I would have rather not received a discount at all and just have a solid honest price. And by the way, there was not breakdown of cost on the invoice, just a total. Thinking back to the conversation yesterday, I think I was swayed to pay in cash because I could have easily paid by check or credit card. They have in-full cash payment and I have a working water heater with a 3.3% discount. I guess that is fair......

I'm a little frustrated. I explained what I needed when I called in- which was a leak in the basement detected and sealed. I scheduled an time for them to come out and check it out and give me an estimate. Tim came and was very kind but explained that it wasn't something that the company did. He contacted his boss and gave me his number to refer me to a company that could do a service like I needed. I called the number as soon as Tim left. The man sounded frustrated and said he'd call me back as soon as possible. No call back. :/

If you hire these people and you need the job done, you better not ask any questions about the bill. Tim and son showed up and told us that it would cost $365.00 to change a copper pipe out. When I asked why so much , they left my mother with no water ; Just left. Don't Do It

The wife got concerned enough to call Atlantis Plumbing about a low flow toilet that only clogs when company uses that bathroom. Company was coming that day for a week. She called at 8:30 am. I'm expecting no one will be available until after our company is here but they said they would be out by 10:00 AM. Butch called about 9:30 to confirm and he and is crew were here and gone in 30 minutes. Butch listened to the history of the two backups, toured the house to look at all the evidence including piping and pictures of my drain system. He concluded that they needed to pull the toilet, put a camera down the drain and inspect for blockage. The camera may have knocked off the blockage. They did not find anything, which is OK by me. We learned it is probably due to the paper we use, quilted, plus a few feet of horizontal drain. This is a low flow toilet. Fast forward and after company for a week, new unquilted paper in that bath; no blockage. Some might conclude this was a wasted visit but just remember """"happy wife, happy life"""".

Mike Brown was great. They were very responsive and professional and got the job done for a great price. Very trustworthy and honest plumber.

I live in the Johns Creek area. I have come to the realization that service companies automatically up charge us because of the area. Atlantis Plumbing doesn't charge a service fee for coming out to your property (even in Johns Creek) - FREE ESTIMATES! You pay for the problem (labor & equipment), that's it. After reviewing the past few reviews, please remember that Atlantis has several plumbing technicians and not all of them are the same so you will get different ratings. My service technician, Roby & Tyler, were *****WONDERFUL*****! I had 20 gallons of water spilling out of my ceiling and they found the leak and took care of it. They are extremely professional, knowledgable, and very friendly. I would recommend Atlantis Plumbing - but please remember my stars are not only for the company, but for the technicians :)

Atlantis Plumbing helped me out big time during this last freeze. My new house had a running faucet all night due to a fixture going from a drip to a full blast run. Mike came first late that night and spent hours trying to fix it. The shut off on the street had issues so he finally left at 1 am assuring me they'd get rignt back on it first thing in the morning. John came out early the next morning and was finally able to get water off and fix the problem. Yet he also had trouble with the shut off so the fire dept took care of that! The City of Atlanta will be fixing that issue! Then, lo and behold, I went to my other house I am still moving out of and it too had a busted pipe. Chris came out on time and fixed this problem in the cold and rain. Yes, it costs money to have a plumber come out but I assure you, these guys did everything they could to help me out of a bad spot. There was no charge when it couldn't be fixed and that was in the middle of the night. Two other well known companies wouldn't even come due to faucet being to a jacuzzi. Thanks guys!

After having a VERY bad experience with another plumbing company (who was supposed to be one of the most reputable in all of Atlanta!!!), I was extremely reluctant to look for another one anytime soon but as life would have it, what needed repair was urgent so I took a deep breathe and searched again to find these guys. Luckily, they had someone already in my area and within 20 minutes I had them at my doorstep. The guy who took care of me was Shelby; he was extremely professional, knowledgable, explained eveything in detail and went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the work he had performed. Not only was I extremely satisfied with his work but their pricing was more then fair and they offer a great military discount. I will be sure to use them for any and all plumbing work I will need from here on out!

After my pipes froze, I had a difficult time finding a plumber. All the other plumbers were booked with customers with similar problems. Atlantis Plumbing was able to come out next day. While I appreciate their prompt availability, the repair work was sub-par. The """"plumber"""" identified and repaired three leaks. It was easy to find those three leaks because the drywall had busted out where the pipes broke. He failed to find an additional leak, which I found shortly after he left. It would have been nice to have a plumber with the proper tools/equipment/technology to detect hidden leaks. The invoice was not very detailed. I was given a price without an explanation as to how it was derived. Being in a middle of an emergency, I didn't argue much.
