I am happy to leave a glowing review of my first experience with Atlantic Plumbing and Heating Supplies.
They are my new go to /first stop for all things plumbing and heating. They helped me fit an O ring for my house filter and instructed me on how to get the best results. They were pleasant and patient and did not talk down to me or make me feel awkward that I did not know all there is to know about my system. They beat the advertised prices of the big box stores, who were not be able to get me an O ring for a few days. So I was able to fix the problem immediately and for a better price as it turned out.

I just came from there and the people are so nice. They have a doggie named Brady. Person who I spoke to was able to find me the correct tail pipe for my bathroom sink and still be able to unscrew the drain to clean out the hair. I am soooo thankful. Finally got what I wanted and excellent customer service.

Our AC motor broke down and needed new parts. These guys were so helpful! They said to purchase the capacitor first to make sure it's just that. And to save us the money. We were going to get the motor too. They had all the parts we needed even for our older model unit. Turns out we did need the motor and they helped my husband on the phone with install and everything. We will definitely be coming back for any and all our heating/plumbing/HVAC needs. They were just awesome all around.

I have been dealing with Atlantic for several years, and in my opinion, they are one of the best plumbing and heating supply companies in the state of Rhode Island!

They have a good selection of plumbing supplies - not just for newer plumbing, but for old, oddball plumbing - the kind of stuff that Home Depot wouldn't have. Whether you are plumbing new-construction houses, or repairing plumbing on a 100-year-old house, they've got you covered.

Coverage of heating supplies is equally impressive. Some supply houses focus on boilers (heating with water or steam), while others focus on furnaces (heating with air), but Atlantic has parts for both boilers and furnaces, as well as air conditioning and even oil burners. They truly are a one-stop supply house.

The selection is amazing, and their service is equally good, both in product knowledge, and speed at putting your order together. John, the owner, has helped me troubleshoot difficult oil burner problems. The countermen - including Anthony, Joe and Ryan - are all excellent, and some of the fastest countermen I've had the pleasure to deal with (and I've dealt with plenty of slooooow countermen at other supply companies). All of them have very lively personalities, too. I've had many laughs and fun times there, which is rare for a plumbing supply company.

While they cater mainly to plumbing, heating and HVAC professionals, I have seen them help homeowners also.

They are located off Tiogue Avenue (they are set back a ways off the road, behind CPM Automotive). Just be careful when you are pulling back out onto Tiogue Avenue (especially if you are turning left), because it is a very busy road, and vehicles travel relatively fast.

I called Atlantic plumbing looking for a whistle vent for my 275 gallon oil tank. The man said he had several and that there are different sizes and if possible to bring my cap with me to the supply store so they could match it up properly. I did and the young man was efficient with locating the part. He began to explain how to transfer the new vent onto my existing part and then said he wouldn't mind just attaching it right there for me. It took under 2 minutes and saved me the trouble of doing it myself out in the cold. All I had to do was take the complete part home and screw it into my tank and it fit like a glove! Thank you Anthony and Joe for your fast and friendly service. I will always point friends and family your way when needed.
