Woke up this morning (28 degrees outside) and the house was 55 degrees. My Buderus gas boiler was not running, and no amount of turning the power switch off and on could convince it to start. Two other plumbing and heating places couldn't give me an appointment till 3 days from now. Assured Service was great. 1- They answered the phone so I didn't have to leave a desperate message. 2- They had a service guy out in about an hour. 3- Erik was able to troubleshoot it and get it running in about 30 minutes.

Its been about month with our new Navien tankless water heater. Very happy. We switched from a Buderus indirect water heater, second failure in 14 years. Now we can have 2 people show at a time and not need to wait between showers. If you are thinking of the switch I reccomend it. The only downside of the tankless is it takes a little longer until we feel the hot water. The positives are huge, endless hot water, quieter water heater and better efficiency.

As for Eric and his crew, I called on a Monday afternoon afternoon, They showed up first thing in the morning Tuesday a few minutes before the estimated time. 2 Vans, 4 or 5 guys (I lost count). They knew what they had to do and were very professional about it. I tacked on an extra project of adding an extra sillcock and re-plumbing the old ones. They hauled away the old heater and installed the new one neatly where I wanted it. The inspection went off without a hitch.

I have found a new plumber in Northborough to rely on. Thanks Eric, and Oh yes, no problems with the rebate from Masssave/National Grid, I did that on-line and the check already came! Who new you could love a water heater. I hope we get many years out of this one!

We found your company's name on the Northboro Mom's FB group page. And were they right! Our first floor heat was out (January). We called at 230pm. He estimated anywhere between 3-5pm. There was a knock at my door at 3! Very polite, professional team from the very beginning. Got straight to work and we had heat within the hour. Very respectful to the end. Thanked me for my service (vet) before I could thank them for theirs. Assured Service is our #1 call from here on out. So grateful to Assured Service and especially Eric and Jacob.

I have had Eric work on a unit of ours multiple times now. He always answers the phone when you call which is great. Every time I called he was here on the same day. He fixed our problem and even called in the next day to check to make sure we were happy with everything.

I have had Assured Service complete several projects at my house including service on plumbing, heating and Air Conditioning. They are EXCELLENT!! Eric and his men are very smart and hardworking. They are reliable and do what they say they are going to do. They show up and they are ready to work. I recently had an emergency when my boiler/water heater failed and Eric came over late in the day to assess the situation and make sure that I would have heat during the night. The next morning at 7:30am, Eric and a crew of six plumbers were at my house to completely remove and replace my boiler and hot water heater. They do an excellent job! I highly recommend Assured Service!

This company knew nothing about my well and how much water it yields. I advised them after they replaced the pump. Suffice it to say, the experts took out the submersible pump that Assured put it and replaced it with the original jet pump because they have a greater level of knowledge. Assured blindly put a submersible pump in. They, also, lied about the jet pump having failed. The one year old jet pump was put back in, yielded more water and corrected Assured's error. Court- he was a natural. The lies flowed effortlessly. Very experienced in that arena.

BUYER BEWARE--OVERPRICED!!
I had a new vanity for my downstairs half-bath, but it didn't line up perfectly with the old drain pipe. It was a simple sink with a cabinet underneath, but I needed the plumbing hooked up. Called Assured and two guys came out and quoted me $450 for the job! (That's what the vanity cost!) They said it was ""extensive"" and talked to each other about the different things they would need to do. They were going to work on it together! I called around and was quoted less than half that, and no one else mentioned needing more than one person. I finally went with a different plumber in the same town who only charged me $225. He cut and refitted a new pipe to line up perfectly--exactly what the two Assured guys said they would do.

I notice the other positive reviews mention Eric, the owner. He should know the younger guys he sends out are ruining his business. Smart consumers always check prices and know when they're being taken for a ride. If you do go with them, make sure you get other quotes first. You can't trust their estimates!

""Standard"" prices? Then why did FOUR other plumbers quote me at least $150 less than your guys?

I've been working exclusively with Eric and the whole team at Assured for about ten years. I have a three family that's over 100 years old and needs both maintenance and improvements. Given the size and age of the building you can imagine how many issues come up and they are never welcome!! Eric listens well, helps me strategize about how to address plumbing and heating concerns, takes care of repairs quickly, and always has a sympathetic and kind word. I really rely on Eric and Assured and very much appreciate them. I'm grateful to be able to recommend Assured!!
