Jerry Hall, the founder, started his HVAC career in 1980 after completing three years of service in the U.S. Army. He established All-American Air Conditioning and Heating, which he sold in 1997. In 2002, Jerry returned to the comfort sector with the establishment of Assured Comfort Heating & Air. In 2004, following a few prosperous years, Jerry discovered that a National Guard Armory unit from Douglasville, GA was being sent to Iraq. He then chose to provide complimentary HVAC services to these brave families. Since 2004, we at Assured Comfort have recognized the impact a single company can have on its community. As time has passed, we have evolved into a community-focused HVAC company. We are involved in and provide support to a variety of charitable organizations, both in our local area and nationwide.
Jerry Hall, our owner and a veteran, founded Assured Comfort back in 2002. His primary objective is to offer safe, knowledgeable home service solutions to metro Atlanta while giving back to the community. He is committed to taking care of both our customers and our team. I can't say enough about this company. Our A/C went out in 90+ degree heat and we ended up calling another company on a Sunday. They took our money and gave us a temporary fix. We were back to square one within a week. After doing our research, we went with Assured, and the name totally fits. They assured us that they would be able to resolve the issue. From the first phone call, to the friendly sales person, to the knowledgeable technicians...everyone was top notch. The work was quality work at a fair price and they didn't attempt to upsell us. They only recommended what we needed because they knew we had just wasted money with another company. I wrote everyone's name down and will update this review as soon as I find my notes - I would really like to give them all credit! We now have a maintenance contract with them so we will never be put in that predicament again. Do yourself a favor and go with professionals who know what they're doing!

This company keeps calling to reschedule 3 times even though my partner is very sick (coughing alot) because we are now having mold in the house and this is VERY important to have the pipe checked out before the blockage and the leak started to get worse! We paid for the insurance with their company and still have not been done! We would not recommend this company to anyone!

Do not use Assured for plumbing issues. We had to have our main sewer line replaced. This is a big job, and we were told they would arrive first thing in the morning, but they did not arrive until about 3pm. They worked until 11pm, which is past our city's noise ordinance curfew of 9p and my typical bedtime. During the job, they accidentally pulled and disconnected our main waterline from the house waterline in the basement. They were unaware of this until I told them when I just happened to notice it when I went to lock the basement door. If I didn't notice this, water would have uncontrollably been spewing into our basement when they turned the water back on. They did a quick fix and left parts of pipe and materials all over the place. In addition, they disturbed our vapor barrier and tracked dirt all across our basement. We paid for a new line install, but they quickly realized that they could not excavate through the tree roots in our yard and ended up threading the new PVC through the shell of our sewer line (the collapse was right at the foundation), which doesn't require as much work. This should be a cheaper job. The grading they did was horrible, probably because it was dark when they were finishing. They didn't bring their own lights, and were working on pipes with their phone lights. I let them borrow my headlamps. We have a low point in our from yard which I had to fill with dirt because water started pooling. They left a gap between the ground and the concrete drain line along the house, which allowed water to seep to our basement wall, causing mildew/algae build up. They came back out and denied it was their work. I had a basement company come out and confirmed that the recent algae was due to their work. They admitted that the person who did the job is no longer with the company, which makes us feel even more insecure about the quality of the job done at our house.

My ac unit stopped working in early June and I had assured comfort do a diagnostic. The technician reported that I needed a new blower unit and parts labor etc, would be 1000$. Well, not having an extra 1000$ I bought a couple window units to make it through. I finally got the money together to get it fixed. Before calling assured back I had friend who does industrial hvac come over and look at it. I hate being scammed and kued too. They wanted 1000$ to replace something that a 16$ relay fixed. So on addition to several hundred dollars in ac window units and power bill I have been sweating all summer. Never use these people.

They were way over-priced, they lied on the phone, and it was a poor experience. I called another company right after I told them to leave, and they were half the price and did the job right. I will never recommend this company to anyone!

Make sure you take a picture of everything you sign. Things tend to disappear! They will quote you at a reasonable price and then expect you to pay a much higher price after the service is complete.

My review for Assured Comfort H&A is less than stellar for several reasons. I had been using a small company for 18 years and always felt they were giving me a legitimate and honest deal. This company was bought out by Assured last year so I gave them a call for issues going on at one of my rentals. The tech (Kenneth) came out on time I might add and gave me a list of items that should be replaced. He also stated that I needed a new unit that would be approx. $4500. I was out of town so I told him to just replace what was needed to repair the unit. He said it would be approx. $1100. When I received the invoice I did research online and realized I was charged $554 to replace a condenser fan motor (not the blades). The most expensive motor I could find online was $200. Dual Capacitor was $221 and online they cost in the $50 range. These prices may be the new norm I'm not sure. The tech was there two hours so the price discrepancy could be in the per part pricing list the company may go by. I called Assured to get an explanation of the charges and offer them an opportunity to explain the cost differences. It has been four business days and I haven't heard back from anyone. If I had had the time then I would have gotten a few quotes as I will next time. Bottom line I am sure this is my fault. I just wish large companies had the same business integrity as small businesses did in the past.

The technician was great, however the company is false advertising and heavy price gauging during these tough times. They charged me $221 for a part worth $15 and took less than 1 min to replace, just because they know that I can't order it anywhere else without waiting less than 2-3 weeks. Not fair at all !!! I would not recommend you to use this company.

The entire experience has been fabulous! My sales consultant, Ben, was so helpful. I learned so much from him amd he was there to answer any and all my questions. My installation team, Albert and David, worked amazingly together. They have an unbelievable system to make sure everything is installed precisely and efficiently! Albert showed me how to use my new thermostat and walked me through my entire new system. The ladies that are in the office have been pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable as well. I am SO HAPPY that I selected Assured Comfort to install my new HVAC system! Thank you so.much everyone!!!!

I've used Assured Comfort for HVAC unit repair. They are courteous, professional, fast, and fair. I appreciate the fact that I do not feel like I am being taken advantage of. I appreciate the time they take to explain how things work and what is needed to fix the problem. Thank you Michael A. and Scott T. I highly recommend this company.
