Monica B.We had a leak requiring immediate attention. Despite it being Friday morning, they confirmed that they would come and call prior to arrival. They called Friday afternoon to say they would not be coming! If they would have just said they weren't coming we could have found someone and not have had to pay after hour $! Extremely unprofessional.
Terrible. If you want to give money away and still have an unfixed or even diagnosed plumbing problem, these are your guys.
Jim B.This company and its staff (receptionist, office, owner, and service technicians) all quite responsive, friendly, helpful, knowledgable, competent, and seek to keep costs of services and repairs as low as possible. They responded promptly on several occasions during past month over holiday period for problems with sewer line back up. Each time they explained the causes (related to 65 year old lines), lowest cost approach and solutions, including free assistance from city, and suggestions to avoid similar problems in future. Owner took special interest in the situation. Highly recommended!
We did not state that we had an emergency and they didn't communicate that weekends were charged with overtime, nor did they state that they charge travel time. Be very careful when dealing with this company. They were at our place 30 minutes and the labor was almost $400. That is outrageous. Then I was called a liar by stating how long they were there. This is not a reputable company to deal with. I suggest finding someone else.
Have had trouble with this company from beginning to end. Did not send enough help, despite acknowledging that we needed 2 workers.
One worker was extremely rude/arrogant! Drug out the work to pad the bill, and took days to do, and we had to have the work re-done!
Two months later, and we still have a leaky faucet in 1 bathroom! Now, after 2 months, they have decided to send us another bill.....for work that their employee did wrong, and they had to re-do!!
RUN from this company......run fast!
I've used Associated Plumbing for many years and have always found them to be dependable and honest. When my Mom, who was 102 at the time, needed an emergency boiler repair last winter, someone was there to fix it within an hour. The repairman taught me how to oil the pump and gave me a bottle of oil with a spout small enough to insert into the fitting. When we wanted a new kitchen sink, Gene and a helper worked hard to complete the job with no mess and no new counter needed.
Associated has never let us down.
Called for an estimate to replace (not repair) our 10-year-old hot water heater. Sent two guys (on a weekday, not after hours), who walked around for a bit before agreeing the water heater needed replacement. A week later, we received an estimate that didn't even include the necessary electrical work ($300-$600 more, and we would have had to find an electrician and coordinate the services ourselves). Buried on the last page of the estimate was a bill for $80 for ""services."" DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
Given and estimate of $600 for work to be done on my bathroom remodel, then charged $1700 at the end of the project. Had two and three plumbers onsite with one working and the others watching, outside smoking and on their cell phones. Ended up in court with a judge awarding just over the estimated amount - so apparently agreed that they ran up the bill and did a bait and switch! Don't do business with this company
M t.I recently called Associated Plumbing because whenever I flushed my toilet it was coming out into my shower. I had a big messy problem on my hands. Because this began at night I was forced to pour a bottle of liquid plumber down my shower drain (which was completely clogged. It took all night to drain. The next day when Associated Plumbing came by to check things out all they did was run water into my bathtub and flush the toilet a few times. They said it was draining slow, but seemed fine and the liquid plumber must have worked. I explained to them that this had happened once or twice to the former owner of my house. For such a major and disgusting problem they surely didn't investigate too hard into what the problem could have been. Nor did they give me any type of explanation or tips to avoid this problem from ever happening again. After truely doing nothing, they proceeded to charge me $100 dollars for them to not fix this recurring problem.
