I am VERY disappointed in ASI. I have a 15-yr old whole house A/C unit that was not working. They told me it was not fixable and I needed a whole new unit. They also said that I should change out the furnace at the same time as pulling permits for one means its cheaper in the long run to pull permits for both. I did not have the OVER TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS they wanted me to pay so I paid my diagnostic fee and they left. I have since called another outfit after enduring scorching temps, and they fixed my existing unit for under $350! It was only a faulty capacitor. These guys are SHEISTERS! Only interested in profiting from new unit installation and not even attempting to diagnose and fix an existing unit. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. COMPLETE CON MEN!!!

We hired ASI to install a new house AC, ducting and heater 10 years ago. First off we have propane gas but they installed a natural gas heater. We were lucky our house didn't burn down as there was solid black sut in the heater cabinet. We had a service contract for a few years and they were fine but their customer service has been terrible. We called them for a service check the other day and they gave us a window of 3:00-6:00. At 7:00 pm we finally called the switchboard and they had the tech call us. The tech lied and said he didn't have our number to call us to tell us he was running an hour behind. Why didn't he call the switchboard. We called the next morning to speak to a manager about what happened and at 10:00 pm still no call back from the manager. This is the 2nd time in a row they were a no show to an appointment. I'll never use them again
Update: my husband called to talk to the manager Steve about the situation and he promised a service tech would come the next day between 10 & 12. Still no tech came and no phone call. This companies customer service is horrible.

This is just an update about our solar install which was 5 star, but it took a while to get us set up with the program to monitor our system to see how much we were producing. We didn't know how important it was to be checking this since it is a brand new system and didn't expect issues after a month. We had our panels installed mid June and by mid July our system went to very low levels of production. It was my fault that I didn't check it daily and it had been about 3 weeks since I had last checked it. That is when I found out that ASI is just the middleman and was referred to the monitering company that actually makes the software for the panels. Apparently SDGE doesn't want you sending too much power back to the grid so will shut off how much you are sending when you reach a certain amount. (I didn't know this until recently last week) We reached our quota the first week and then the software shut down the panels to barely producing. This was apparently a glitch in the software and ASI knows nothing about it but since they installed it they get the review. It took over a week to get someone on the at Enphase, the monitoring company and they final fixed the update in about 5 minutes. Now that the heat wave is almost over and our panels are running as they should, we should be getting a huge bill from SDGE for all the AC we thought we could be running and yes we were still conservative and kept it at 80. Bottom line, find out how many companies are actually involved with your panels and check the production daily because ASI will not tell you that it is very important to check.

Mario Fregoso and Luis (did not get his last name) were very professional and courteous .. they arrived with masks on and put floor protector shoe covers on before entering my home ..they explained every thing they were doing .. and what needed to be done .. they were awesome ... hope all your employees are as personable !!!

ASI. BUYER BEWARE! Called them along with local HVAC companies, other chain companies, and smaller companies in the area. Needed AC serviced (suddenly had no cold air in 100 degree temps). Since ASI was the only company with an availability, I decided to call them back. Got talked into $20/month plan for ""free"" house calls for everything HVAC and Plumbing rather than pay the $63 house call fee. Ok, maybe that's a good thing? Get told that they cannot quote over the phone without fully checking the system/faults first but most calls are around $200. Ok, book it. Then the tech shows up. I won't say late, but definitely not timely. He inspects the unit. Then he says ""Bad capacitor. I have one on my truck. Do you want me to replace it?"" Um. Hold on. What is the price? ""$461"" WHAT???!!! I look it up. Yep. $36 capacitor and they charge me $461? I said, that's the best you can do? You realize that since it only took you 20 minutes start to finish, that is over $400 an hour labor rate? (Math says closer to $1200). So, over a barrel and against my best judgement, I paid it since the next closest availability from another company was more days away than I was really willing to go without AC. Pissed me off though. So I called the company to complain and to cancel the $20/month charge. DAYS later got a return call. This ""manager"" listens to me tell him that those prices are exorbitant and gouging. He then tells me that those prices are policy to cover the overhead for the day because they don't use a ""rack rate"" system. Wait, what? That wasn't disclosed in anything about the $20 per month plan! You just randomly multiply costs for customers? So there never will be a reasonable expectation (quote) given to a customer in advance until your technician has their system apart and them over a barrel? ""Well, sir, that's just our policy."" And ""That's just the way it is."" Click. Fast forward one month. Yep. CHARGED THE FEE MONTHLY FEE AFTER CANCELLATION CONFIRMED!
Bottom line: Their bottom line is more important than your bottom line. Do NOT use this company!

They called and made everything right after a scheduling issue, sending a technician out same day within the next couple of hours

Contacted them Friday, received an automated email to confirm receipt of my request for service stating I should get a call or email as soon as the next business day. Well, Monday at 4pm I was contacted via email, no phone call even though she tried to say they called, asking if I would like to set up an appointment. I realize things are tough right now but a big company with all that advertising should do better. What a let down.

Our AC went out in 100 degree weather! We called several places for same day service (since of course AC wasn't covered under our home warranty) and ASI was the only place that could make it happen. Alejandra who called me within minutes of my online inquiry, was super sweet and friendly and gave me a time frame for later that day. She said if they could make it any sooner, they'd call me and that's exactly what happened. Ryan M. called an hour before my scheduled time frame and was about 15 minutes away which was more than welcome in this heat! Ryan was professional, courteous, efficient and clearly knew his stuff! BTW, he wore shoe covers and his face mask the whole time! Thank you again!

On behalf of our family, it was an absolute pleasure. RODOLFO GARCIA from The White Glove Guys was absolutely amazing very thoughtful and very safe. They figure the problem with my units very fast and give me a quote. They work super fast and very polite and respectful to my home.
I like to give shout out to the phone operators too. Both ladies i talked too was to sweet and patient with me, English is my second language and sometimes operators get frustrated with me but not those ladies.
