These are downright good people, who happen to be super intelligent plumbers. The best plumbing experience I've had, I couldn't recommend them more.

My gas log fireplace had a leak. Ashcroft Plumbing was on time, efficient and incredibly friendly.
They do good work! I never hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Pros: Friendly staff. Quality work.
Cons: Expensive. Charges ~$80 per visit as stated over the phone. $400+ for gas leak tests. Repair would cost $800+. New unit $6000+. Plumber did not wear shoe covers when in the house. Phone message says only opens Monday to Friday. If they had a more reasonable price, I would have given 5 stars.
I called them to come look at a malfunctioned tankless water heater. Plumber says it's broken and needed to be replaced. I was quoted $6000+. Yikes!
Before the unit can be replaced, the gas lines needed to be checked for leaks. I agreed for the $400+ gas leak test. Plumber found leaks in the lines and says repairs would be over $800 and another test would be performed to find any additional leaks/repairs. I decided to stop there and pay the ~$480 (for the test and visit) and shopped around. Meanwhile, the plumber calls the gas company and had my gas shut off (for safety) and I was out of, not only hot water, but central heating as well for the chilly 30F-40F weekend. The gas leak was minimal, no one in the household smelled any gas at all so this took us for a surprise.
I ended up using a different company through recommendations that did the same work for half the price. ~$200 for a leak test, ~$700 for repairs (includes permit), and ~$3000 for a new tankless water heater and they came out during the weekend to install. Everything was done to my specifications and I'm a happy camper.
If you're looking for a quality work from master plumbers, these are your guys. If you're willing to shop around and research, there are cheaper alternatives around town.

Ludicrous Prices.
Did a bid for a plumbing job at my house from Ashcroft for 16k with no itemized charges on the bill. They also charged me $79 for the visit.
Needed to move toilet drains, shower drains, install faucets. Found 2 different other companies that quoted $5500. I went with one of these much lower bids and work is done to my satisfaction.
I don't know how Ashcroft came up with the price of 16k with no explanation what they are charging it for, it just said : Plumbing work and the big amount.
Don't recommend !
Instead I recommend C& C Plumbing

Ashcroft Plumbing & Gas is an amazing family run company with old school values and the highest levels of customer care. Josh and his teams are extremely technically proficient and very good at explaining the nature of the problem and the various options to remedy the problem. Unlike most plumbing company's Ashcroft is expert in natural gas plumbing. They did a very complex gas lamp project for me that turned out stunning beautiful, thanks to all the research and planning that Josh put into the project. Best plumbing company in Dallas!!!

I had Joshua, the owner come out to price a job for me. It was replacing two master bath sinks. Since they were adhered on as opposed to bolted, he cautioned me that the travertine counter might need to be replaced as cracking might occur. He gave me the name of a reputable contractor and waived his charge for coming out to estimate this job. He also showed me how to install two shower heads. It is a family business. His wife handles the calls and couldn't be more accomodating and sweet. I will definitely use them again.

Everything you want in a plumber! Polite, covers on the shoes, honest and forthright! Clearly knows everything there is to know about plumbing!

Josh answered my initial email promptly regarding a faucet issue at a business I own. We discussed what might be needed and his guys came out, assessed the issue, informed me immediately of what was needed and walked me through the "fix"--at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Ashcroft Plumbing.

Josh and Ashcroft Plumbing are great. We needed to have a condensate pump installed as it was leaking into my foundation. Josh was courteous, professional, and clean throughout the visit. Would recommend to him to anyone with their plumbing needs.

Joshua was great. He just finished a service call on a holiday for us to install a toilet. Really nice and easy to work with. Definitely went the extra mile fixing little things like the toilet paper holder. Even installed a gas shutoff for the dryer for no extra charge. He's also helping us with a tub, and has been very thorough with measurements and getting everything right. Thank you to Ashcroft Plumbing. I highly recommend.
