On time, quick and efficient! We called to get our septic pumped as our dog was alerting us by digging over our tank. The driver told my husband the tank was pretty full and dogs will generally alert. So do yourself a favor and set up maintenance before you actually encounter an issue.

Talk to Deb first thing in the morning and Harold was at my home by Noon. Super nice man and very knowledgeable. If I need more sewer help I won't hesitate to call these folks. He even raked the dirt where his pump hose drug through the dirt. Over and above most companies.

My septic backed up May of 2019. I called Action Pumping and was given a quote of $450. to pump my tank. Two young men showed up and started digging up the ground to get to the lid of the septic tank. I greeted them told them I was finishing up rising my dishes and would be right back. I rinsed my breakfast dishes loaded the dishwasher and walked back outside a matter of maybe 10 minutes. The two young men were gone! The only way I knew they had even at least dug up the ground was the ground was disturbed. I called the office and spoke to Robyn and she said that she would check with the young men and get back to me. She phoned later and told me, that the two men indeed pumped my tank. I argued how that was possible when they were not here 10 minutes. She said she would send the owner out to my house.

The owner came out dug up the septic lid and looked inside. To me it looked full. He said that's because it was full of roots, and that he would charge me approximately $1000.00 to clean up the roots!!! Also gave me a hassle that the tank was too small, I needed a larger tank, etc, etc. Even though the tank is concrete and was permitted and installed in 2007. We haggled over the $450 pumping price, and finally they cut it in half.

Because I was getting my house ready to sell I thought I would wait until the septic inspection and then pay to have the roots removed and repumped (the inspection certificate is only good for 90 days). Well the spetic again backed up in January 2020. I did not mention that I live alone so not a lot of use on the tank. I called John Mahany Plumbing because I know the young man Kerry very well, he had done work for me in the past, also, I knew I could trust him. He came and fixed the clog, again due to roots (some were as large as medium branches!!) He told me to go to Home Depot and purchase ZEP root kill (why did no one tell me this before!). I purchased a case and since January 2020 every few days poured in the root kill down the toilet and in the septic drain valve.

Now the point of my review: I sold my house and of course was required to have a septic pump and inspection. Because of the past problems with Action, I shopped around and was referred to ASAP Pumping by Eric of A-Plus Septic And Drain (apparently A-Plus only does septic installations).

Harold from ASAP came out Yesterday, May 11, 2020, and dug up my septic LO and Behold there were very few roots!!!! He did have to chop through some roots but very few. Here is the amazing part there are TWO SECTIONS TO MY TANK both with their own lids!! Harold told me the second one had NEVER been opened or pumped!!! Something Action over looked. Harold chopped away the few remaining roots, pumped BOTH sides of my septic, wrote out my Certification and went on his way, all of this $425.00!

My advice: use ZEP Root kill CRYSTALS at least 3 - 4 times a year (a case is only $35.00 and will last a year). DO NOT USE ACTION PUMPING!!! and call and request Harold of ASAP pumping for all your septic needs.

I heard a bubbly noise from the master bathroom. Peaked in to water flooding around toilet. I grabbed towels and saw the water in the tub too. I grabbed my phone and called a plumber who said to call a septic co. I called ASAP and left a message, sounding desperate. They called back within a few minutes and shortly thereafter the truck arrived; all within forty minutes. Friendly. Honest. Supportive.
The man from ASAP left zero mess and put the yard back. 1000%+infinity praise for ASAP.

This is an aweful company! They charged me twice to clear a clog and still didn't get the job done! I called MIKE THE PLUMBER and the job was finally done right! ASAP refused to refund any money or give me any credit at all! Don't trust this company!
