ASAP Plumbing Service was assigned my American Home Shield claim. I submitted a warranty claim for a leaking toilet. Wax ring failure that caused a very light stain to the downstairs ceiling. Upon arrival the technician immediately wanted to cut the ceiling to inspect the plumbing. I advised him that the issue is the toilet and does not require ceiling access. While inspecting the toilet he asked again if I would like to cut the drywall just to make sure it's not an additional issue. Advised again it is the toilet. He then proceeded with detaching the toilet and confirmed it was a wax ring failure due to the flange not being extended when the tile floor was installed. At this point, he advised that he will now need to cut the drywall to access and raise the flange. I then advised him that it only required an extender. He advised that if I want it repaired correctly, it needs to be accessed from the drywall. He confirmed that the extender would work and proceeded to advised that it is plastic and not a good repair. Explained that every flooring installation would not require reworking the plumbing, they would install an extender. He then advised that he will call him supervisor and follow up with me. After about 20 minutes in his truck he came back and advised that they will not place the extender (plastic ring) and will send in their report to American Home shield. He then exited my property without securing the toilet with no progress. I called American home shield to advise and lodge a complaint as they were trying to take advantage and include unnecessary work. The AHS rep called the plumbing firm while I was on hold. They advised him that the flange system needs to be rebuilt. I then advised that I have a written estimate from the plumbing stating that the only issue is the flange not being high enough due to the tile floor and they have told them false information. Warranty company then advised me since it requires a rebuild, the claim would be declined entirely. Again advised that there is no damage but the flange needs a plastic extender. The flooring was installed prior to moving in the house and would be considered a warranty type issue as it is not related to accidental direct physical loss. Warranty company advised that they can only go by the information they would told from the plumbing firm. Now I am out 125.00 deductible, claim is denied since the plumbing firm is reporting a false statement and they want an additional 425.00 to "make the repair". The warranty company advised me that the plumbing firm would call me to discuss but they never did. They admitted that the issue can be resolved with a simple plastic ring and refused to repair giving the only option to "rebuild" undamaged plumbing. Since I advised I will not allow a rebuild, they left the property and the toilet unsecured. This is an ethics issue and I will be following up with thier licensing.

Had a horrible experience with ASAP Plumbing. They were originally called through an insurance company to come fix a garbage disposal and toilet issue. The garbage disposal was fixed quickly, and correctly. When fixing the toilet, the technician did not replace or tighten a faulty valve and the toilet proceeded to leak for the next 24 hours+, causing water damage in two rooms. Long story short, after 5 different visits from ASAP (during a 10am-6pm window), across 9 days ... the issue was not yet resolved, and the damage caused by poor work not repaired. The 5th technician to come out was rude and seemed to blame me for the damage that was caused by their company! Very frustrating situation all-round.
If you have a plumbing issue, I strongly recommend that you find another company, or, leave the problem un-repaired ... you'll be better off!

AHS chose this company. They give an 8 hr window on a work day of course than a 15 min heads up. Gives zero time to get across town to home. Techs left because their techs can wait around even though I am expected too For an 8 hour window apparently. Lady lied bold face trying to say she called earlier that day. Never happened. Even sent a screen shot of no missed calls for the day. Rude and no customer service. Do not use. AHS scheduled them for a previous repair techs found nothing but a loop hole to charge money for nothing. They returned for same problem. Don't waste your time or patience.

ASAP Plumbing was assigned to service my water heater by AHS who's my home warranty program. They are grade A+ incompetent. I have fired them and chosen to do the repair myself or pay out of pocket (in spite of the warranty I am paying for) because I don't want to deal with another inept company AHS might send my way.
I tested the lower element of my electric water heater with an ohm meter and discovered that it burned out. While I still had hot water because the top element was still working, I wanted it fixed. I did not want to deal with draining and replacing it even though it's a simple fix so I called AHS. That's why I pay for a warranty.
The ASAP Plumbing tech tried to sell me BS. He said that in addition to the element not working, it was not "pushed in all the way" and that "he pushed it in but now its ground wire could not reach because it was not long enough to be connected again." That made NO SENSE AT ALL. First of all, elements ARE NOT PUSHED in. They SCREW ON and OFF. Elements DON'T have ground wires. They have leads connecting to the circuit that controls when these elements come on and off. The inept tech then said he could not drain the tank because of too much sediment and that to fix the issue I needed a new heater because mine was over 6 years old. He also spouted a bunch of code non-sense that does not apply to me just because he wanted to squeeze more money from AHS for the repair.
This inept person did not know he was talking to someone who new a thing or two about electrical wiring, code and water heaters.I was angry and fired him on the spot. I asked him to put the water heater back the way it was before he touched it. He refused spouting safety. Knowing full well there was no safety issue, then my conclusion is that he did it out if spite and pure jacka$$ery.
I am having to rewire the elements myself so I can turn the heater back on safely until I can find the time to fix the issue. What a sorry excuse of a "skilled" technician and company.
I have contacted AHS to tell them what kind of sorry servicers they are sending to people's homes. They will refund my service fee. I will write to their contracting department to tell them as well and their CEO if I must. I will also track down the owner of ASAP and teach him a thing or two about water heater circuits.
I am either going to do the repair myself or just call someone I've hired in the past who is trustworthy and knows their craft well. Don't hire ASAP Plumbing unless you really want to be disappointed and ripped off.

I was assigned to ASAP through AHS. I don't recommend using this company. They have poor communication and customer service skills. They conducted 3 visits to replace a commode. They left the area dirty to include my walls. They tried to leave the commode in my home for a week until they returned. Speed, efficiency, quality and customer service isn't their forte. I highly recommend avoiding business with this company.

Much like other reviews, was assigned them from home warranty company. Time frame was way too long considering I had standing water in the house. Tech shows up with flashlight after waiting 2 days for the appointment when my complaint was under slab leak. Agreed with my assessment left to get warranty approval to come back with camera. 2 days later they called to schedule return trip on Monday (this is Thursday). Had another reliable company show up evaluate, run the camera and make diagnosis and plan in same trip. Realized using Fidelity Home Warranty is waste of my money & time. Not much confidence here and supported by the other reviews

So our water heater stopped working, I had a friend of mine who's a plumber come by took a look. He said the water heater need to be replaced but since it had a home warranty, turn it in as a claim. ASAP came out and told me the entire plumbing closet was plumbed incorrectly and before he would put the new water heater in it would cost me $900 to have the cold water and hot water lines re-plumed in water heater closet. Keep in mind there is a cold water in and a hot water out that's it! I said no thanks and AHS refused to send out another plumber for a second opinion. I had my friend come back out said the guy is an absolute idiot trying to rip me off. So he did the job and I sent the bill to AHS for reimbursement. Absolutely this guy is a crook!!!

It's amazing that a few people actually gave ASAP Plumbing 5 stars. They must be relatives. Like every other 1 Star review, the service request was through Home Warranty America. Mike misdiagnosed the water heater leak, and HWA refused to cover it. Your warranty is only as good the service companies competence.

water heater went out on Christmas morning had House warranty people call a plumber ASAP came out to bid the job. I got the money together called home warranty company told them it was a go they called ASAP to set it up a week later I called ASAP to find out when they might come out got the day set up finally ( they were supposed to call to set up when I called warranty co) my appt time on the 21st of January is 0900 to1500 for a complete replacement and be brought up to code. Plumber shows up at 1200 does the job comes to get me for approval finds new hot water heater has a problem so have to replace it again. It is now 1420 and they have "procedures" so they have to come back tomorrow to finish job wso no hot water. On January 22 get a phone call from ASAP that I am 2nd on the schedule for the day so they will let me know. So job isn't finished and I am 2nd on the list. I am a disabled Vet and a Senior citizen with little resources but so to me this feels like they have no regard for either or quality customer service. I had to cancel home health care as no hot water. The job is a finish up from yesterday and they tell me I'm 2nd on the list doesn't make sense to me. I was in customer service for over 30 years and this attitude would not have been tolerated. I wouldn't recommend ASAP plumbing to anyone

No stars!!!! Awful, terrible, and essentially criminal. We paid a $75 service fee for them to come out through American Home Shield for a lack of water pressure. They then told my wife that our water softener was broken and spreading residue throughout the pipes in our home. They then quoted her $3000 for a new water softener, removing the old water softener, and "flushing the residue out of large pipes". When they left they did not even bypass the "broken" water softener. My wife immediately went online to find all the terrible reviews and became suspicious that their diagnosis was just a scam to make money. We thus had another plumber from a reputable company at our own expense come out who diagnosed a leak in the plumbing outside of our home as the problem. Her water softener was completely functional and did not need to be replaced. He fixed the leak and the issue as well as a malfunctioning toilet for less than $200. Basically they would be out of business if it was not for American Home Shield sending them referrals from unsuspecting customers. RUN, RUN, RUN away from this company!!! Absolutely do not let them in your home. Read the other reviews on this website and be cautious that the good reviews/5 star reviews have no details and a written by people that work for their company, ASAP plumbing
