Wish I could give a zero. Responded to AHS Warranty for leaking faucet. Said water pressure needed value at cost of $795. They refused to talk to my city representative about pressure reading and would not share info gathered. Rip off artists wanting my money. Glad i live where City personnel are honest people.

Do not use this plumbing service, they will try to over charge you and tell you that you need other things done to install hot water heater. Our home warranty covered the hot water heater, after all said and done it would still cost us over $1500.00 dollars out of pocket.

I'm giving 4/5 stars due to the timeliness of service. Otherwise, I'm happy with the service provided. After contacted AHS for a defective water heater, I was informed by ASAP that they would not be able to come out until a Tuesday. I contacted AHS, stayed on hold for over an hour, and got the service call changed to the Saturday. I understood the modifications that were quoted but was greatly disturbed by the price for optionals. It turned out that I only needed needed the mods to bring up to code. My only compliant was that I stayed without running water for 4.5 days due to the amount of water leakage that was caused by the water heater despite them getting the equipment in that morning prior.

Rip off artist to the max... buyer beware... I went thru home warranty to report water pressure and these people started quoting prices for replacement of water heater expansion needing to be replaced... a bunch of other made up charges totaling over $4000.00. Good luck you have to be rich to afford these guys.. Do your research !

I had a main line leak just past the water meter. Since it was outside the water meter box San Antonio Water System was not able to help me. Fortunately I was able to shut the main line off to stop the leak, although that shuts off the water to the entire house. I called First American Home warranty and described the situation. They said they would contact a plumber to inspect the problem. ASAP plumbing called and said they would be available the next day between 9-3, nice window of time that eats up the entire day. They missed that appointment and called to reschedule for the next day, Friday. Finally a two man crew shows up looks at the problem(of which I had already dug the hole, exposed the leak and had everything ready for repair). They called FA and reported to me since the leak was not within the boundaries of the foundation it was not covered. I asked them if they could repair it anyway. We agreed on a price and they went back to the truck. A few minutes later they came over and said they do not have schedule 80 fittings on the truck and plumbing supply houses were closing early that day due to a storm coming. That's like a pizza place not having any dough in house, ridiculous. Home Depot is literally 4 miles down the road, they didn't like that response very much either. They wanted to reschedule for Monday, leaving me with no water for the weekend. Then they asked for the $65 service call fee and for me to call the office to reschedule. They gladly took the money and ran.
I was able to call another company(Will Fix-it) and they came out the same day, made the repair and everyone was happy. The repair cost me double what other plumbers quoted while searching, but it was done the same day.
ASAP plumbing is lazy, ignorant and wants to take the easy money route. I will never use this company again and will make sure my hundreds of friends and co-workers know about their poor service and pure laziness.

Just like most of the other reviews, these people are horrible! They were assigned by my home warranty company, so I didn't have a choice about who was assigned. They gave me a 6 hour arrival window and never showed up. The appointment was between 9am and 3 pm. The office person called me at 5:25 to let me know that they were canceling the appointment. The ironic part of the story is my home warranty company is trying to force me to keep these guys and reschedule an appointment with them. NO WAY! Very unprofessional. DONT CHOOSE THESE PEOPLE!

After having a horrible experience with Immediate Response plumbing, these friendly guys came out and fixed our leak very quickly. They also charged us 1/2 the price. Immediate response quoted us $695, ASAP fixed the same leak for $380. We will not call any other plumbers from now on. We are very happy with their service.

Awful. I'd give these guys zero if allowed. I had them come out to diagnosis a plumbing issue. No leak and they spent quite a bit of time there. I had another handyman dig into the drywall in several locations with asap guiding him ... and yet no leak. There was a pool of water though underneath my washer. I then paid to patch up and do other repairs. 3.5 months later while my rental home was vacant, i finally had a new tenant reside in the home. As soon as the washer was turned on, there was a leak. I called them out again because they mis-diagnosed the issue. The first guy to visit called for ~$1000 worth of additional parts and tearing up the wall again to look further. I was livid. I claimed they mis-diagnosed the issue. They denied this and said that many things could have gone wrong in the 3.5 months. BS. After spending an hour with the supervisor, I asked them to send another person out, but they would pay for the drywall patch work. They agreed. A couple of weeks back, they sent someone out and tore through my wall. No leak. They finally diagnosed it as a washer issue. I am now properly repairing the washer. Several weeks have now passed and they have done nothing to patch up my wall and I have contacted them about this. They simply don't care.

I NEED TO MAKE THIS STATEMENT CLEAR; The ASAP plumbers that responded to to my AHS warranty water-heater replacement and code compliance requirements. Were without question the most professional and thorough technicians sent to my home. ALEX R. & MIKE E. worked above and beyond, relentlessly from the time of arrival to till the job was completed and water pressure was restored.
Replacing the old W/H with one more suited for our needs multiply baths.(no more simultaneous cold showers) Making sure that all areas were left clean and in good order.
Again, I recommend ASAP and commend plumbers Alex R. & Mike E.

I'd give these guys zero stars if I could still leave a review that way. Different from other reviewers, these guys did show up at the agreed upon time on the day I called, but they didn't have a water heater and wouldn't be able to replace it until the next day because they'd have to go get a water heater. WTH? If someone tells you that their water heater is draining out the bottom and flooding the garage, then how do you show up to replace the water heater without actually having a water heater to replace it with?

Can you explain to me how a water heater that is still under manufacturer's warranty and also covered under my home warranty would cost $500 to replace? I'll tell you how...

These guys will scam you into paying for work and call it "modifications." They won't be able to show you or explain what they plan to modify though. They'll tell you that in order for their work to be warrantied, they have to replace the lines. Ok, I'll bite on that. The water is hard out here, so it probably wouldn't hurt to replace the pipes. $20 for some new pipes they sell at Lowe's that take 20 minutes to replace...still not seeing how that's $500.

Then they'll tell you that you need an expansion tank to bring you up to code. Expansion tanks are a code requirement, yes, but they come with all the new water heaters...at least the ones I've seen. So, if you're going to replace my water heater with a new water heater, then why are you trying to charge me for an expansion tank that already comes with it? Ridiculous.

Furthermore, if you're going to advertise $29 service calls on the side of your van, then that's what I should pay you. Not $75.

Don't bother talking to the owner, Eli, on the phone either. He's the perpetrator of the BS that his techs will try to feed you.

They'll show up ASAP and they'll also tell you lies ASAP and try to take your money ASAP. Do yourself a favor and request another service provider ASAP when your home warranty company threatens to dispatch these scam artists. American Home Shield is a joke of a home warranty company too, and I'm sure they're part of the problem.

Just for comparison, I switched to One Guard home warranty and dispatched Kotara Quality Plumbing to replace a bad water heater at another home of mine. I got the biggest residential water heater with an expansion tank. Dispatched and installed the same day I called. Guess how much that cost me? Nothing. That's the way it's supposed to be.
