I asked for a quote, and out of the 10 places I've asked, the owner (Tom S.) provided me with the most expensive quote that I've received so far. To be fair, he quoted Rheem vs. Bradford White, and I realize there is a price difference so I wanted to ask a follow up question. I told the owner that I saw a great deal on angie's list for a 50 gallon bradford white and whether he thinks I should just jump on that deal or if there are potentially many other fees and I'm not comparing apples to apples...

He replied with ""Thats your choice buying on Ebay....
We stand by our install and that includes all parts pick up and removal from property .We fo 100's a year !""

Essentially, his reply was complete nonsense. Angie's list has nothing to do with Ebay and I'm not sure how much I need a water heater provider to ""stand by"" their generic product that takes 60 minutes to connect.. hmmm... and is being around for 100 years a really great trait? Let's ask Arthur Andersen, or General Foods, Montgomery Ward??

I called ASAP Plumbing and, not only did Tom answer my questions by phone, he showed up within the hour to help us! It was unbelievable how nice and fast the service was - in a difficult situation! I would highly recommend his service and company!

Honest, reliable, and hardworking repairman. The owner, Tom has been helping my mom for over a year, addressing small to medium sized plumbing and sewer repairs. He is practical and understands low budget repairs, but will point out long term issues to ensure that the owner is comfortable with decisions. My mother's home is located in an older neighborhood and has outdated water infrastructure. Despite those problems, Tom is a refreshing resource with elderly home owners.

Tom the owner is great. Friendly, knowledgable and detail oriented. We have a 100+ year old three flat in Uptown. We began to get back up in the first floor kitchen. Tom came out reviewed our systems and ended up replacing the original brick grease trap & sewer connection for the building. His whole team was excellent, can't say enough nice things about them.

I am so impressed with ASAP Plumbing and its owner Tom. He has been out to look at two different plumbing jobs for me in the past week, and I haven't been charged a dime yet! Today he looked at my hose bib in the front of my home which was frozen and turned it one, and showed me how to manage it while I am waiting for him to come back and completely repair it. While here he noticed that my flood control back up battery system needed batteries and he has ordered them for me. Both times I called he has been prompt, courteous and patiently explained the problem to me and possible solutions. I am so glad to have this contractor in my virtual rolodex now!

I used to be a property manager, managed many buildings and thousands of units, yes thousands. Over the years I've dealt with many contractors, and plumbers being one of the most often called. I also know my way around building systems, and have had my share of guys talk to you as if you should be off baking cookies, no insult meant to men who like to bake cookies. Baking cookies is fun, everyone should do it :)

Then there's Tom, a straight forward professional that knows plumbing, he also knows how to treat a customer. Many times people will ask me for recommendations, if it is for a plumber he's the first one I think of. After all, I needed to call a plumber today and I called Tom. I didn't have to think twice about it.

If you need to call a great plumber, he's the one to call, take it from someone that just about every call she placed all day was to a contractor or to a resident telling them when the contractor should be arriving. I jokingly tell people my last career was a fixer.
