Dave B.Don't really know what to say here. I called this company to replace my current heat pump and they responded very quickly. Two guys came to my place, and were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I explained I had 3 kids under the age of 5 and no heating, and we were coming into winter. They said to expect a quote soon, and gave me verbal estimates which I instantly approved and explained that I was anxious to move forward, almost irrespective of cost.
After weeks had gone by and no quote, I followed up with them saying that I'd never received a quote, for which they apologized, and said they'd get me one. Now, several weeks have gone by and still nothing. If they were too busy, or didn't feel confident that they could do this job, they should have just said so.
In any case, I was excited to work with who seemed like good guys, based closely -- on my very street. But ultimately they wasted a couple of months of my time. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were friendly and actually showed up the first time to at least look at my current heat pump.
Just Moved into to an old a tutor several months ago. I've had nothing but problems throughout this house. Hired a plumber to try to resolve my heating issue one of many problems. He could not resolve the issue. Finally I called the phone number that was on the side of my burner which was Arvada, spoke to Jerry and Mike which were very professional Took their time to listen and let me explain my situation. Jerry had sent the mechanics to my house the next day and seems that they resolve the issue, The mechanics are a pleasure to deal with they explain everything very patient. On top of everything they're very reasonable with their Prices.
The freon in my central AC needed to be recharged and I reached out to a few places listed on YELP. Jerry was the only one who asked me what kind of system I have instead of my location first. Joe and Dan were here about and hour after I spoke to Jerry and they were patient and explained what was going on to me. Sometimes I feel like men talk to women about mechanical things like we're stupid but these guys didn't make me feel like that. They fixed the issue and explained what I was supposed to do after they left with the unit.

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my heat and my home was freezing. They came and solved the problem and I couldn't be happier!
Mary M.Our experience with Dan and Joe was pretty positive. We are new home owners and moved in in the spring. The house wasn't warming up and we didn't know much about heating problems. They showed up on time to take a look. It took a few days but they were able to replace the faulty parts and get our heat working just in time for the chilly weather and their rates seem reasonable.
Kimberly S.My family was assigned to this company through our home insurance when we lost our heat over the winter. We are truly patient and understanding people and would not speak of a company in a negative light unless the service was unreasonably terrible. With 100% confidence, I can truly say that our treatment by this company was disgusting. We were told that they needed a part to fix our heat that was only sold in another state and that it needed to be shipped. As the days kept adding up without heat, this company blamed the part manufacturer for faulty shipping. Meanwhile, we were ELEVEN days without heat or hot water in the winter, and they did not give a crap. They did not research or make any effort to see if there was another location from where they could get the necessary part. They did nothing. They just shrugged and blamed some Midwestern part manufacturer, unwilling to mitigate for the ""delayed"" part. So on day 11 without heat, we had had enough and called our own HVAC company who we were willing to pay out of pocket at this point, who fixed our heat the SAME DAY. And guess what? This second HVAC company found the part ON LONG ISLAND. They literally drove to pick it up same day and fixed our heat immediately. So Arvada's whole story about this part only being sold and shipped from the Midwest is B.S. 11 days without heat or hot water, with handicapped family members living in the house. Disgusting. No regard for their customers. And may I add, that they started dodging our phone calls (on which we were extremely respectful and calm given the circumstances) and HANGING UP on us. What kind of business are you?
This is the worst aircondion repair company. My home warranty company send them to me, they changed my air conditioner because they couldn't fix it. It took them one month to do that and during that month they wouldn't pickup their phone or return my calls. The only way I could get in touch with them was to call the home warranty company and complain. Finally the new air conditioner came. It took them two days to install it and there were very weak air blowing out. After 24 hours it stopped completely. I called them again, they wouldn't return my calls. I called my warranty company, they came back and said they have to reverse something. So they did. It worked for two days and stopped. I complained again. They came back again, this time it worked for 2 1/2 days. I complained again. They came back, these time I came back from shopping and heard a dripping sound and saw my ceiling coming down because it froze and the heat in the attic was melting the ice. Finally after THREE months, at the end of the summer another company came and fixed it. It was the hottest, most miserable summer. I am sorry I ever met them! They really don't deserve a star!
Joe D.I called my home warranty company because my furnace had stopped working, it had worked for a few days this season, but abruptly stopped.
The company assigned my case to Arvada... they came within a couple days of me calling to make the appointment, diagnosed the issue on the first visit, then had to wait a week for the warranty company to mail them a part. Warranty company said they received it on a Wednesday of last week. I called them several times and got only an answering machine. When I finally got a live person they scheduled the repair for the following week (Monday.) That wasn't terrible considering the warm weather but I really felt had it been easier to contact them by phone I might have been able to get it fixed last week.
Happy with the work they did, workers were friendly, just wish they were more pro-active about scheduling appointments and answering phones.

The job to repair our air conditioning was probably one of the toughest and biggest repair that we had to accomplish. They do almost every job and they know exactly what they're doing.
Very unprofessional and non responsive. After my home warranty gave me their number I contacted them for 2 days and when someone did pick up the phone, they asked me for all the information over again. Just from the start I suspected this wasnt a company that I wanted to deal with
