Artley Tracy is professional and honest to fix the faucet that was falsely diagnosed by ML plumbing. I highly recommended his service

The technician from Artley Plumbing that came to my house was very professional and knowledgeable. I had a leak under the foundation of the house and he found it ASAP. He did not waste my time and was straight to the point no nonsense. He was hired by my insurance company to diagnose the problem and I also had him fix the problem. Great service I would definitely call them again for any plumbing issues.

Tracy was our second plumber that our home warranty insurance sent out.
- He introduced himself to me (unlike the first plumber, I had to look at the name on his uniform).
- He asked if I was comfortable to have him come in my home or if I wanted to wait for my husband to arrive.
- He was acknowledged the problem we had right away (first plumber splashed water on the faucet and said it was a bad caulk that was causing the leak).
- He took the time to explain what was happening and our options to get it fixed.
- He replaced the faucet in our kitchen sink without making or leaving a mess for me to clean up afterwards!
- Bonus stars for being very approachable, having a great sense of humor while being professional!

So, I have to concur with the other reviews regarding the scheduler Marla. I called to schedule another appointment (issue was not fixed properly the first time--more below) and she talked over me the entire time I tried to tell her what was going on. I asked her to let me finish my sentence and she refused and kept on talking over me. Who does that?
Background: We had a leak in our master bathtub and had other plumbers come and diagnose the problem (entire drain assembly needed to be replaced and faucet was leaking). I realized I had a home warranty and rather than pay $1000 I could have it repaired for $65. The plumber came out and said that the previous plumbers were wrong and trying to gouge me. I told him I thought he was mistaken because I saw the leaks myself. The faucets would only leak when each one was on individually, not when they were both on. Long story short--my wife made him go back and retest faucets 1 at a time instead of at the same time and sure enough it leaked. Also, she made him fill the tub and sure enough the drain assembly leaked. So, if my wife hadn't forced the issue, nothing would've been repaired except the tub drain seal which was 1/3 of the problem. The plumber only replaced the cartridge in the cold water side and that is now fixed. He did not address the hot water side and that still leaks which is why I called to make yet another appointment.
Bottom line, if you want a rude person who has no business dealing with the public schedule you an appointment (that will require you to take the day off work) with a plumber who will do 1/3 of the work, by all means pick these guys.

Had such a wonderful experience with Artley Plumbing! Marla was accommodating and attentive and got me an appointment a day later. Terry, the owner, addressed all our plumbing needs and gave me a fantastic Plumbing 101 Inservice. I highly recommend them!

Gosh it seems like a hit or miss with some of the reviews. I do agree that the lady who sets up the appointments seems a bit anxious, which has the potential for a less than pleasant experience when things become stressful. However, they were quick to dispatch someone the next day and the person arrived within the allotted time. So we had a smooth transaction.
Our experience with the plumber himself was A+. I love to ask questions about everything and he took the time to answer them all. Even if it was about a problem that had nothing to do with what he was working on. He was also pleasant to talk to.
I've done a bit of remodeling in my house and its hard to find good contractors these days. If I was going to do another bathroom remodel I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tracy since I want to hire someone who is knows what they're doing.

On Tuesday when I heard water running under my mobile home I called my home warranty insurance company. I was informed that Artley Plumbing would be coming to my home the following day to assess and fix the problem and I was given a four hour window. The next day the plumber (who introduced himself as Tracy) showed up within that window. I walked him to the side of my home and showed him where I had heard water running which was just inside the wall behind where the plumbing enters the home. Tracy removed a nearby access panel and then informed me that in order to see where the leak was he would need to cut an additional access hole in the skirting. He had to call the insurance company and they said I would have to authorize and pay for that separably (an additional $100.00). After cutting the hole Tracy claimed that the piping was PB Quest piping and he could not touch it because PB piping had been part of a class action lawsuit against Dupont. He said that his opinion was that I needed to have the whole place replumbed. He called the insurance company and told them the same, and did provide an invoice with that information to my email. He also said that the service charge would be waived and he would only charge me $50.00 for cutting the hole. The next day my insurance company sent Erik from Assure Plumbing. Erik was able to remove the section of skirting that allowed access to the hold, and informed me that the piping was not PB Quest, but rather was PEC, and that the hold was not caused by a split in the plastic (as Tracy had claimed), but was caused by rats chewing on the pipe. He said it was a relatively easy fix, he left to get parts, and was done with the repair within a couple of hours. I have to assume it was ineptitude or just wanting to make a quick buck for little effort by Tracy because Assure Plumbing did a great job without scare tactics. I have reported this problem to my insurance company, and I will never use Artley Plumbing again. Now I have a hole in my skirting that I will have to pay to get fixed (after paying someone to make). I feel cheated.

I have never written a yelp review before. However, the amazingly poor service I received today compelled me to make this the first.
Keep in mind, no plumber ever came to my house. This is a commentary on Marla, the owner and the person who calls to arrange service when a request is placed. Based on the reviews I have seen on this company, it sounds like the actual plumbing service is top notch. I wouldn't know since I didn't even get that far...
I spoke with Marla today about the request I placed through our home warranty company. She offered me a 4 hour window later this week during which I could expect to receive service. When I asked if they would give a call before coming by (to ensure we would be there), she said no. When I asked if they could be sure to avoid a 30 minute window where I knew there would be nobody home, she said that they ""do not wait for anybody"". When I asked to speak to the owner, she said that she was the owner. When I commented that her customer service needed some work, she replied that she ""would never tell me how to run my company so why do I feel that I have the right to tell her how to run hers?"" I offered to start over with the conversation, but she persisted, going so far as to say that she couldn't serve me, and that she didn't understand why I was getting so upset over a ""little plumbing issue"". When I explained that the timely and courteous service of my ""little issue"" was actually of great importance to me and my family, and presumably the reason that she is in business, she expressed disbelief at my attitude and essentially accused me of harassing her.
I have since registered a formal complaint with Fidelity Home Warranty and have service lined up with a competing plumbing company.
I would offer my strongest recommendation to anybody who happens to come across this company in their plumbing needs to avoid them at all costs. The hostility I experienced through a simple phone call is, frankly, scary.

The home warranty company uses this plumber. He is friendly and seems to be well trained, except he said I had to buy a toilet seat for the new toilets. Why does an experienced plumber not know that the toilets come with a seat? I paid the $65 service fee. He was to contact warranty co. I have yet to hear back. After 2 weeks of no news, I feel my $65 is just thrown out. All I wanted was a leaky toilet fixed.

Artley Plumbing was dispatched through my Home warranty company. They provided me a 4 hour window the very next day and took care of the plumbing issues to my satisfaction.
The plumber who came in replaced a faucet handle, diverter, and stopper in my bathtub and a toilet flush handle in less than 1 hour. He seemed like a thorough professional.
