Company Overview

We provide maintenance and restoration of home systems and installations. We handle water and gas lines, heating units, waste disposals, tap fixtures, water closets, shut-off valves, and clogs.

Our company uses genuine replacement components from brands like Delta and many others. We strive to repair first.

Having more than 26 years of plumbing expertise, we follow industry standards learned from public libraries in the 1990s. Our expertise includes sewer systems and side drains. We work on bathroom and kitchen fixtures and surrounds. Gas piping and evaluations are also part of our services. We focus on limit the scope of work.

Living in San Diego's northern region since 1998, I am married to Marla for almost 30 years. Together, we raised three sons in the San Marcos area, who went from Richland School to California State University San Marcos.

What a great company, I called Artley Plumbing and spoke with Marla. I explained to her I needed help with some issues in my mother's bathroom, my mom just had surgery and we were having problems with her toilet and shower. Marla was very compassionate with my situation, she scheduled an appointment for us and gave me a time frame when the plumber would arrive. The plumber Tracy arrived within the time frame I was given, he was cheerful and very helpful. I was very pleased with the work he done, I am so glad I called this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! I just got off the phone with the ""owner Marla"" She is obnoxious and has no idea how to run a company and what customer service means and yes by that I mean she was screaming at me on the phone and hung up...why might you ask...simply because I asked for a courtesy call from her technician as he leaves his previous job. You would think I was asking her to donate her worthless kidney. I did some research and SURPRISE this company has complaints filed with BBB and terrible reviews online as well. I immediately called my home owners company and cancelled them and went with Express Plumbing (who I used before and they had no problem giving me a courtesy call from the prior job and did a great job fixing the problem). This woman and her ""company"" are classless and your money is well spent elsewhere getting the actual problem fixed rather than dealing with them! Good luck guys and please go with any other company on the face of this earth before this one! I hope you go out of business Marla!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too stubborn to work with us to resolve a simple time conflict. I basically asked them to call me 30 minutes in advance so I could come home in time (from work), and the lady on the phone insisted that the plumber could only give me 10-15 minutes notice since the previous job was only 8 miles away from our home; hence that is how long it would take him to come to our place. She wasn't rude, but it seemed like she was adamant in ensuring that she doesn't help us. If I were running a business, I would find it silly to lose a customer because I can't find a way to give my customer 30 minute notice.

I had a service call put in to this company via my home warranty to look at my master bathroom shower, possibly a problem with the thermostat. Artley Plumbing was notified by my home warranty on Wednesday morning, 27 Nov. I also called them in parallel and left a voicemail. I called them again on Saturday and left another voicemail. It is now Monday morning, 2 Dec, and I still haven't heard back from Artley Plumbing. I understand that it was Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but according to my home warranty company, they claim to work weekends. So I am very disappointed that they didn't even have the courtesy to return my call. My home warranty company has now sent my service request to Express Plumbing.

My home warranty company referred me to Artley plumbing to fix my leaking garbage disposal. Mr. Artley called me prior to the appointment to let me know exactly when he would arrive (according to his GPS). He arrived with a new garbage disposal in hand and told me it would take about 6 minutes. It took him 8 minutes to replace the entire unit AND to fix a hose issue that could potentially have flooded my kitchen. He promptly emailed the invoice using his Ipad and took the time to dispose of the old garbage disposal. His great skills and excellent customer service will make me a repeat customer.

Mr. Tracy Artley understands the importance of customer service. He has repaired a few issues in my home over the years and every time he walks in with a smile on his face, a polite greeting, and a confident handshake. He is also great with dogs :)

I go through my home warranty and they always set me up with Artley Plumbing. Tracy always calls the same day I put my claim in to schedule a repair day. On the day of repair, he arrives on-time every time. Tracy doesn't just review the problem and give a solution - he informs you step by step the cause of the problem, why it happens, the different options you have to correct the issue, and how to prevent it from happening again. He is very knowledgeable with how the warranty company works, which is SO helpful in making my decision on how to proceed.

The first time I met with Tracy, his business was on paper. At our appointment today, it was nice to see Artley plumbing is keeping up with technology. Tracy whipped out his ipad and wrote up my invoice lickety-split. Before he stepped out of the door, my invoice was in my inbox. Pretty sweet.

Tracy is informative, honest, and funny :). I really do trust his work and recommend Artley Plumbing if you are looking for a plumber.

I used Artley Plumbing for a home warranty claim after the first plumber the warranty company sent out failed to do a thing. Great customer service, very responsive. The plumber was on time (I was quoted a window of 2-5pm and he was there a little after 2). He also took the time to really figure out what was causing my plumbing issues - he was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain exactly what he thought was causing the problem and why. I never felt like he was in a rush or pressuring me to do the repair. He simply told me what needed to be done and how to proceed if I chose to. I would definitely recommend this company based on the customer service and integrity alone.
