Luis and Celso did the refinishing on our 94 year old floors. There was a bit of staining from some careless tenants, both beverages and cat urine. They were able to sand the floors, stain them, and leave them looking brand new. Not to mention they helped me move a refrigerator, and finished a day early. I've already recommended them to 2 different people. Great job.

Arthur's just finished my living room, dining room, kitchen and stairs and they did a fantastic job. They recommended a super close match to my upstair's bedrooms and hallway and I'm thrilled with my flooring choice. They were quick, left my home spotless and did quality work. I generally do not post reviews, however after welcoming 5 different flooring contractors into our home, we choose Arthurs Flooring. We could write a book on Vinyl Plank Flooring after educating ourselves. When considering our final selection we kept coming back to their rating. Most Yelp ratings are 12-30 reviews VS Arthur's 183 reviews and still maintains a 5 star rating (extremely impressive). I did question Oves on a few of the negative reviews and asked for an explanation. He also brought out a box of the flooring so we could get a better feel of how it would look.

After receiving the quote, it wasn't the cheapest but we felt it to be the most thorough. FYI, so when a sales person tells you it's $ a sq. ft. and $ a linear ft. expect that there will be some additional costs especially if you have stairs etc...A positive sales quote is one thing but those of us that have worked with several contractors, the installers can make or break your flooring experience.

The installers were UNBELIEVEABLE!!!. They showed up EVERY DAY, they worked at a lightning speed pace and they CLEANED UP every evening so that we could have a sense of calm. Daniel the Lead Man was INCREDIBLE. We have a 2200 SQ. FT. two story condo and they would completely finish one room (including new baseboards) so that we could move our belongings back into that room. ALSO KUDOS to Frank and Marcos. They both were stand outs.

We are so satisfied with the results and would highly recommend them.

Had the best experience with this team of professionals! They finished early, were always prompt, and had the utmost professional courtesy (manners, calling ahead, cleanliness). This team hustled to get the job done fast, and accommodated our every need and made sure we were satisfied. They left the job site cleaned; actually the driveway was left cleaner than before!

After 9 months, Today i received a personal apology for the errors that the installers did. What i want from this review is for companies to be responsible for whom they hire to represent their companies .

Just had my oak floors refinished. Oves came over on a Saturday to provide an estimate. A portion of the floor had water damage and another portion had deep scratches. The floor was 15 years old. They started and completed the work on time and left the place clean. Can't even tell where the damage was. Excellent work!

I had the opportunity and pleasure of working with Oves. He gives you set time, and hes always there. Oves was fast, efficient and a great man to work with.

I had an emergency water heater bust in my condo while i was on vacation. I called Oves and his team replaced all of the damaged floors and refurbished my living room to top it off.

TL;DR: Flooring contractor that delivers quality results for a very competitive price.

Oves, Paulie and the entire Arthur's Flooring crew did a very good job replacing and refinishing 3000 sq ft of flooring in our home.

As many other reviewers have said, Oves provides competitive pricing out the gate. As we got closer to finalizing our contract and the details needed to be hammered out, Oves was willing to make very reasonable accommodations to scope changes. This was refreshing, and as a result we increased the scope of work in the hopes that Arthur's Flooring would provide a comprehensive flooring update solution.

Paulie is a very knowledgeable flooring installer, and worked with us back and forth to get the refinishing color and finish for the house's hardwood flooring where we wanted it to be. We had already picked out a LVP flooring and underlayment we wanted for the downstairs, and Arthur's flooring was able to come up with a nice complementary color for the upstairs hardwood refinish.

The work was done quickly, and the team worked 6 days a week to get the flooring done ASAP. After the final walkthrough where I pointed out requested improvements and finishing, the flooring team got those all done quickly and to specification.

I don't know that the finaling of our floor staining was the easiest process in the world; there was a bit of back and forth. And sometimes the team can be a little pushy on review requests. But these are generally minor gripes.

PROS:
- Oves provides great pricing and customer service when scoping the work.
- Timeline flexibility for start date; work completed in a timely manner
- Smart explanations without feeling talked down to.
- Responsive to feedback; trust-worthy.
- Final work quality was very good.

CONS:
- Struggled to initially hit the look we were going for on floor stain color.
- We basically ""knew exactly what we wanted"" going into the contract; unsure if Arthur's Flooring would have been the right company to help us decide on flooring if we were unsure. But that's just gut-feeling and personal preference.
- Oves' flexibility on scope of work was a little unnerving at first because it sounded ""too good to be true."" But the reality is that Arthur's Flooring basically delivered on everything they said they would, so it all worked out in the end.

The work was recently completed so we will see how the installation holds up over time. If I have any major issues I'll consider updating this review. But for now I can say that immediately following the work completion, I am a very satisfied customer and am happy to recommend Arthur's Flooring here on Yelp.
