We had a leak in the main pipe to the house, running water down the street.. Called Arthur Brown Plumbing on a Sat. The on call plumber told us- "" it was a beautiful day and he was at the beach, he would come tomorrow"". We needed someone that day. We had dug the area to see where the water was coming from. He reluctantly came and saw the cracked pipe and said he would not do anything unless we dug up the area more. He stated he iwould not dig or move any dirt to see what the problem is. He quickly told me his brother needed some work and for $200 he would come the next day with his brother, a non Arthur Brown employee. We were stuck... For 24 hours, there was no water- the duo came the next day and the plumber fixed the pipe. They took advantage of the situation, left us without water for a day and refused to do the work, unless we prepared the area for their ease at working. After they fixed the pipe, they did not turn on the water and told us they would be back on Monday to do this. We asked them to come back and turn it on - they returned several hours later. I asked the oncall plumber for an estimate and he said, he wasn't sure what it would cost, but maybe around $600- it depends on what we see when we come back tomorrow. Verrry bad customer experience.

It was a Saturday morning and I opened my garage door to find my water heater leaking water all over the garage. I called Arthur Brown Plumbing, and they were at my house in less than an hour! Timmy was very professional and took care of everything. I was back up and running very quickly! This is the second time I have used Arthur Brown Plumbing, and would highly recommend them to all my friends!

Had a pinhole leak in our water main in the front yard and called AB Plumbing to come take a look. Erick showed up in the pouring rain to diagnose the problem. We both got soaked but it was a warm storm, so no big deal. We determined that it would be better to do the repairs the next morning so as not to jeopardize the integrity of any sealants or adhesives. Erick arrived again on time the next morning and got right to work. He carefully dug the area that he needed to service and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. When he made an assessment of the price to fix everything including parts the range was $400-$500. The work was done well and on time and without a bunch of standing around. When the work was completed the total came out to $500 even, which I felt was just a little too steep. I spoke to Christine in the office about the price of the job and she understood my position completely. I was polite and calm and simply explained that we have used Arthur Brown Plumbing in the past and we just want to be sure that we can continue to use them in the future if we should need their expert services. Unexpectedly, I received a call from Christine later informing me that the cost for the services rendered had been reduced by over $120 per request of the owner. I will continue to use Arthur Brown Plumbing in the future because of their quality work, expertise, and affordability. We have had Arthur Brown work on our water heater install, faucet installs, and water main repair and we will call them first next time we need a great plumber! Thank you!

I just had two new toilets installed and couldn't be more pleased with the installation. Steve arrived on time, did a wonderful job, and even gave me some helpful hints related to plumbing. I felt the price was fair. I give this company and Steve five stars

First thing you should know is Arthur A Brown is NO LONGER with the company and it is being run by Phil. I scheduled an appointment via Phil and no one showed up. I called Phil and scheduled another appointment... no one showed up again. Phil's comments were "" It's just life and we can't make appointments many times. We are in a predicament and have to move!""

It really sounds like Phil has no business running a company and sounds like they are going under. Phil comes across as a wounded and pathetic individual incapable of managing a small business.

I used Arthur Plumbing for a job [reroute]. The prices were very high and the plumbers made some damage to some walls by accident. That cost ME to repair extra $$$$$. Arthur Brown Co. did not offer to repair the damage at all.

I was stupid enough to call them for what I thought was a leak. It was not a leak, the plumber charged me a couple HUNDRED dollars for the service call.

He was at my home less then 5-minutes. I would need to be locked up if I used Arthur Plumbing again.

We had a root clog in our front yard drain that, combined with a toilet flush that did not stop running (hung-up flapper) caused us to have a house flooding. A plumber came and diagnosed the problem, opened the drain at the clog and showed us on the snake camera where the roots were. Those were the only roots in the drain.
When we decided to fix the problem we got a consult from Roto Rooter. The fellow told us we should repair the drain (seven feet below ground) as well as the back flow valve in our garage which was not closing according to the camera. $4,000! He brought-out his manager as a closer to offer us such-a-deal on financing.

I called Arthur A. Brown for a second opinion. Their fellow told me I did not need a back flow valve because we are well above the street level and the manhole covers would pop before we got sewage backing up to our house. Secondly, he said that to go 7 feet deep would call for a backhoe and shoring-up the sides to prevent a collapse. Instead of all that he recommended regular RootX treatments (pour into toilet and flush) and install a pop-up valve on the clean-out ... if I wanted but not necessary.

Thank you Arthur A. Brown for common sense and for saving me a several thousand dollar donation to Roto Rooter.

We own a commercial office building and use this company for our annual back flow testing. They are very accommodating and friendly. I think their pricing is fair for the service that they provided for us. We will continue to use them for all of our back flow testing.
