Art Plumbing, AC & Electric
Company Overview
Count on us to be there when you need support. Providing outstanding plumbing, air conditioning, drain cleaning, water treatment, indoor air quality, and lawn sprinkler. Honored to serve Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties since 1983.
During the early 1980s, after facing challenging economic times in the northeastern United States, Arthur and Marie D'Attile, along with their son Gregg, then 21, chose to move to South Florida.
Once they reached Coral Springs, Art obtained his Broward County Master Plumbers License and on August 15, 1983, the D'Attile family established Art Plumbing.
In 1990, the business concentrated on service, repair, replacement, drain cleaning, and maintenance of plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and residential needs. In 1996, we expanded our offerings to include air conditioning and indoor air quality, and in 2016, we expanded to include electrical services, evolving into Art Plumbing, AC & Electric.
Today, Art Plumbing, AC & Electric stands as South Florida's leading provider of residential and commercial plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical services.
I am a third-generation contractor and have been raising my family in Coral Springs, Florida, since 1983.
Throughout the years, I have engaged with many industry associations and served on City and County boards, including the Broward County Licensing Board for Plumbers, President of the Florida Association of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, and I am presently the Chairman of the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals.
I have been privileged to coach countless youth sports teams over the years, too many to list. I believe in the Golden Rule: ""Treat others as you wish to be treated"". We have proudly served Coral Springs and South Florida since 1983, and it is our pleasure to give back to the communities we inhabit, work in, and enjoy.
I work closely with our team at Art Plumbing, AC & Electric to ensure they strive for excellence every day, in every way.

My mother who is a responsible and caring landlady was worried about her tenants A/C not working in Fort Lauderdale with 95 degree temperatures. She phoned this company and it was a complete disaster that involved 3 visits without repair. The same inept technician was sent twice and was never able to diagnose the problem. He reprogrammed the thermostat and replaced a capacitor. He admitted that he didn't know if that would solve the problem at the end of the second visit. The following day, the A/C was still broken. She phoned the company and requested a more experienced technician considering that the first visit was $329 and the second was $354 and that the tenant's A/C was still broken. The third day, a different and more experienced technician was sent. Upon arrival he diagnosed the problem to be the compressor and said that the unit replacement. When she asked how soon the unit could be changed, their answer was 6 days and the estimate she received was $6200. She phoned a different company who installed a new A/C the very next day for $1000 less!!! She then phoned ARTPlumbing requesting a refund for the two visits and after getting the runaround, they refunded only the $354 from the second visit. This whole series of transactions caused her much grief in light of having unhappy tenants due to the lack of A/C and the many visits into their unit which were unnecessary especially during a pandemic when had the experienced technician come first, the problem would have been properly diagnosed. In light of all of the disturbances to be fair, she should have only been charged the fee for one service call. I feel that she has been taken advantage of and highly discourage anyone from using this company.

ART came out and installed my new water heater (as sub contractors for the Home Depot) Everything went smoothly. The technical was friendly and knowledgeable. The cost of my installed gas water heater was less than I had expected. My garage was left clean. However, if I'd read these multiple 1 star reviews, I would not have considered them myself.

This company places you with defective parts, the work it does is expensive with very poor quality parts, so be careful.

Would not recommend this company. Our experience was that they quoted a price that was expensive and were uncertain it would fix our issue. We used another provider and had 2 items fixed for $100 less than there quote to """"attempt"""" to fix one item.

I would advise everyone to get another quote before hiring Art Plumbing AC & Electric. Unfortunately, I did not exercise due diligence and ended up paying $2,983 for an air handler cleaning and an Air Scrubber. I called around afterwards to check prices and found out I paid more than double the going rate for the same product and service.

I was going to leave a review of a recent service , but after seeing all the others it pretty much sums up my experience do yourself a favor and use another company unless you had no other choice like me .

Have used them for many personal and corporate jobs...Pricing is transparent but high........Don't bother...skillset is fine but do not appreciate existing customers...on 3 recent occasions, including today, i have tried to schedule work...Today they asked me to wait 2 weeks and when I said i needed it sooner, they said they'll call if cancellation...I said that I would have to call someone else...their response: """"OK sir."""" It's nothing terrible, but why bother with a firm that does not care that much about existing customers...Many other choices out there.

Had this company over a year ago and I am still bitter. I had a ceiling leak on the first floor. They butchered my ceiling, charged me a lot of money, completely misdiagnosed the problem and did nothing about it. If we're up to them I would have had to replace my shower pan in the master bathroom upstairs and would have been charged a lot more than my initial payment. It turns out it was a leak in the pipe between floors. They had no clue, butchered the 1st floor ceiling charged me $698.00 for absolutely nothing. No reimbursement, nothing! The service person was inept, the service manager is unreasonable, no apology, nothing. I had a test done one the pan, no leaks, which they did not even offer. What a rip off. I hope you think twice about this company. I've moved since then and am out of the area. Please save yourself some money and avoid these crooks.

Casey was excellent. He wore a mask and booties to cover his shoes. He was in and out quickly repairing my shower handles. His rating is 5 stars. The reason for the one star overall rating was the astronomical price I was charged. I was charged $875.00 for less than one and a half hours of work . The parts were $80.00 a piece; two parts. You do the math. I do not recommend Art's unless you have a lot of money to throw away.

Updated my review for many reasons. After some time to re-assess the situation, and let some water flow under the bridge, you realize things weren't as bad as you thought. I guess time heals all wounds. DON'T GET ME WRONG, my install was a total disaster. there were multiple attempts to resolve the initial install (8 in all), and all of them were additional frustration to having the replace the unit to begin with. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HVAC. All I know is when I press cool, and set a temperature, it should cool to the selected temperature. After almost a year of operation, the system has been flawless since they completed their re-work. Does the system cool my home? Yes it does. Am I satisfied at this point, yes I am. Why did I go from one star to three? Excellent question. Over the last year my relationship with Arts was adversarial, I had gone so far as to drive to the office and talk to the owner. He met with with two burly guys to ensure his safety, ok if that's how you see me, I get it, I was hot (Literally). He assured me the system install would be completed to my satisfaction. In that, he was correct. Through the multiple service attempts to resolve the install, EVERY technician they sent to my home was Neat, responsible and respectful of both my home and my family. That goes a long way. I had recently called them about my free one year service on both my new systems and they told be I was a """"DO NOT SERVICE"""", boy was I pissed. Opening up old wounds. So I left voicemail for Roger Campbell, and he called me and emailed back. He was (Like all the tech's) nice and dealt with my frustration. They have removed my no service and scheduled appointments for the check-ups. If I had a customer who was as pissed, as I was, I might not go back either. Roger sent me the missing filters promised in my install and we agreed to move forward. After they had completed system one, the other system in my home died. I used arts, a show not only of good will, but they had Daniel Tucker come to my home to do the install and it was PERFECT. Both systems,s keep my home cool, and aside from some major bumps in the road at the beginning, they stood behind their work. When you call they say """"How can I make you smile today?"""". Say what you want about how poorly it went at the beginning, the last year has been cool and trouble free. Ultimately, their work may have had some issues at the beginning, but I'm satisfied about the results. They never gave up on the install, other companies might have said screw it, they didn't. Im not giving five stars for the initial install and subsequent issues, but the second install was flawless, so instead of three starts (a-ok), I'm making it four stars, because in the face of adversity they never gave up. Had my experience with them been only the second system it would have been a five star install. Give them a shot, the good outweighs the bad.
