Company Overview

We are always available when you require assistance. Providing outstanding solutions for plumbing, air conditioning, drain cleaning, water treatment, indoor air quality, and lawn irrigation. Proudly serving Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties since 1983.

In the early 1980s, after enduring difficult economic conditions in the Northeast, Arthur and Marie D'Attile, together with their then 21-year-old son Gregg, decided to relocate to South Florida.

Upon arriving in Coral Springs, Art obtained his Broward County Master Plumbers License and on August 15, 1983, the D'Attile family established Art Plumbing.

In 1990, the company honed in on service, repair, replacement, drain cleaning, and maintenance of plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and residential needs. In 1996, we expanded our offerings to include air conditioning and indoor air quality, and in 2016, we expanded to include electrical services, evolving into Art Plumbing, AC & Electric.

At present, Art Plumbing, AC & Electric is the premier service provider for plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical needs in South Florida.

As a third-generation contractor, I have lived and raised my family in Coral Springs, Florida, since 1983.

Throughout the years, I have engaged with many industry associations and served on City and County boards, including the Broward County Licensing Board for Plumbers, President of the Florida Association of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, and I am presently the Chairman of the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals.

I have also had the honor of coaching numerous youth sports teams over the years, far too many to mention here. I believe in the Golden Rule: ""Treat others as you wish to be treated"". Since 1983, we have been committed to serving Coral Springs and South Florida, and we take pride in supporting the communities we call home.

I collaborate with our staff at Art Plumbing, AC & Electric to encourage them to achieve their best each day, in every aspect.

Hid plumber and an electrician for garbage disposal and broken outlet . They were lazy , I had to leave and back one hour later , paid almost 700$ for install and fix . Outrageous, one hour ! Now my garbage disposal is leaking water badly and they can't come for 4 days .., do NOT use them. They didn't care about water damage, the guys standing on balcony when I came back ... horrible

Very disappointed. Placed a service call due to a/c isn't working. Technician trying to sales parts to make more money (commissions), to fixed my a/c unit he told me that I need a new blower motor and also a board controller those two parts will cost more $1000. But I called another a/c company. they only replaced a flotation switch cost me only $128. So sad that they mislead the customers so bad. It was a learned experience about this Art Plumbing, AC.

I had all the plumbing in my home snaked by these guys, and they were amazing. Reading the reviews gives me the impression that people expect this company to cut corners in order to save money. Well, that's not something they're known for. They do all work yp to whatever the current code is. If your home is very old and not up to code and bringing it up to code cost a lot, that's not on them. Go to Hialeah if you want to find a cheap plumber or electrician that doesn't care about what your city's building codes are.

Very disappointed with this company. Today is final for me because of the milking process of always finding something else that went wrong & yes doesn't matter when corrected I give a rave review. They are very expensive and yes displays this excellent customer service, that you finally realize to be not sincere. Now have water leakage and no response from these folks! They are terrible!!! Hey they have your money because you sign before they begin. I am disgusted and feel it is important to for-warn individuals not to render services from this company. LF

DO NOT USE Art Plumbing, AC and Electric. Below is the review/complaint I submitted to BBB: I called to have the wiring inspected. The quote to check the wiring was insanely expensive. $1,430.00 to install a junction box in attic and a diagnostic for a trac light in living room. I should have stopped there. The first thing the tech says after only by looking at the fuse box from the hall is that my 2 fuse boxes are discontinued and needed to be replaced, and he couldn't find parts, and it could be a fire hazard. Also said he wouldn't do any work until smoke detectors were installed. I agreed since some work was done by the previous owner who wasn't an electrician. I have 3 issues: The first is the tech did not say the smoke detectors would be battery powered only since part of the model name has replaceable batteries in the name. Art plumbing does electric work so I thought (my mistake) that the detectors would be hard wired with replaceable batteries as a back up since I was quoted they are at around $250. I wasn't told the type or name of detectors. I went on the Kidde website, the smoke detectors that I would get, Model P4010DCS-W is only $54.99. I could have gone to a hardware store and bought one for around $40 and installed it myself. So Art Plumbing charges $200 in labor to screw 2 screws for the detectors. The second problem is they do not provide a cost breakdown. They claim that their accounting office determines the charges. I have asked for an itemized invoice and was told they only provide the cost of the job and they won't provide a breakdown. To me that means they will hide any overcharges. You can't price compare if they hide their prices. Until they prove I'm wrong, I stand by my statement that they pad their fees in overcharges. The third is that they cover themselves for the shoddy work done. On the invoice it stated, """"Electric is not responsible for drywall damage or repair that may be incurred during the panel installation, however drywall cutting will be kept to a minimum."""", but the tech cut out a lot of drywall to install a new fuse box. The hole is bigger than the new box even though the original box had a smaller opening. They did send out someone to """"fix"""" the drywall, but I'm assuming they had surplus spackle on hand because the drywall wasn't fixed. Spackle was pushed into the holes of the missing drywall around the panel. Also, the tech did not ask where the smoke detectors should be installed. One is on the ceiling in the hall which is okay, but the other 2 are in random places. In one room it is installed on the wall above the closet. The one in the master bedroom is in the middle of the room instead of above the door. I regret doing business with Art Pluming, AC and Electric.

I called this company to get a quote on some plumbing work. I have an old bathroom and need to replace the plumbing fixtures. I was advised that they don't do free estimates and it would be $59 which i thought was fair and so I had them come out. The quote they have me was absolutely insane. $2500+ to replace 3 faucets, 2 shower head ad 3 drains. They said it was due to the age of the plumbing. Im glad I got another quote becuase I had the work done for $700. I dont mind paying for an estimate but I hate that I paid for one that was insanely expensive. Even the technician that came out advised me to get other quotes becuase they are the most expensive in the area.

I contracted Art to get my AC up to code because I heard they were the best. They're rep came, filled out the contract & he took a deposit with the understanding they had 30 days to pull the permit, plenty of time he said. I went out of town during this time for an extended period which they knew of. While away I decided to check with ART on the Permit situation so I called their Permit Dept & spoke with Ginger whom informed me that they could not pull the permit because the application was filled out incorrectly and that she would return my deposit except for a $100 Courier charge. At that point she also informed me that they will not do this job at all. I complained that this was obviously their fault & they needed to eat that expense but Ginger would not hear it. I left a message for the General Mgr. & got no where. I then had to call the county at 4am PST and convince the building Dept. to give me a 90 day extension which cost me an additional $150. When I got back I hired an AC guy from Froze Zone I bumped into at the supermarket. I went with him to get the permit & we were out in 30 min. Final cost including the permit was $900 less than what ART was charging me. The work took 20min & inspection passed. Stay away from ART & go with a smaller company that will appreciate your business & treat you fairly. They overcharge cause they get a lot of work and negative reviews don't impact their business.

High pressure sales tactics. Salesman enjoyed trashing brands he wasn't trying to sell. Salesman also was trashing other work being performed by other contractors saying """"OMG they are doing such a horrible job"""" really dude? I didn't ask you here to quote a service outside your companies scope of business. Their prices were drastically higher than anyone. I was pressured to sign right then and there and when I didn't he got a psychic hunch that his boss just approved him to lower the price by $200. Wow geese thanks but your $2k higher than everyone else for a lower rated system. When I questioned that I was explained that Art Plumbing pays all its tech $35/hr and no one is paid under that. They demand quality. As that is great I can't afford to overpay so the company can maintain high pay and high profits. So when I told the salesman I would decide later he went and sat outside for 45mins waiting to hear from me before he left. Instead of calling him I texted that I am choosing another company. Then I received a long message about how horrible any company other than Art was and a photo of preprinted Art propaganda of how the other company was going to do such a horrible job and that they were going to cut corners that Art isn't. And that only Art can do a good job. How do they know what an unknown vendor is going to do? Sure there are some bad apples out there. But Art should welcome competition to drive their business. It's pretty poor and unprofessional for them to trash talk. Sad part was none of the other vendors trash talked them. They only warned that it was going to be high pressure sales tactics and offered to review Arts quote or guide me even if I chose Art or another company over them. Ultimately that is why I choose a different vendor.

I'm extremely disappointed. After waiting 2 weeks for them to fix a pipe by jackhammering through our bedroom floor and then replacing a toilet, they put in the wrong color toilet and left a dusty mess everywhere. We were assured they would put drop cloths on the furniture, but they did not and now our bed, dressers, nightstands, exercise bike, everything, is covered in concrete dust. I have to wash our bed linens, headboard, throw pillows and all of the furniture. We have allergies and sleep in this room. Completely unacceptable.

Their pricing is insane. Everything they do costs more than twice as much as any other quote we received from other licensed plumbing and electrical contractors.
