how about $500.00 dollars to install a kitchen sink faucet ? Little did I know that I was going to be charged a lawyer's fee to change a kitchen sink faucet.I went ahead with the work but made up my mind never to call Art again.Plus,had to help the tech they sent as he could not get the faucet installed correctly unless I held it in place.As a kicker ,he asked me if I needed the dish detergent container for the new faucet? Quoted me a price of 150.00.I already had checked and the part was 75.00 and you simply fill it and drop it in the housing next to the faucet.Unbelievable !

This is my 2nd time calling Art Plumbing for a quote. The 1st time, my quote was ridiculously out of line with all of the other quotes that I got. They will tell you """"but we are quality!"""". Well, every other company I called out had close to 5 stars as well. Well, I am getting 4-5 quotes again(from all close to 5 star companies), and I decided to give this company a shot one more time. MAYBE it would be within reason this time. NOPE! I called them out to give me a quote to replace my ductork in my house. Being that they are the 5th quote that I got, I not only know what I am looking for, but know the price range very well! All of the other quotes were from $3000-4200. This is from 4 other 5 star companies! Well, let's play a game. If out of 4 other quotes, the highest quote I got was for $4200, and there were 3 other 5 star companies willing to do the same work for that price or less, where do you think that Art Plumbing came in? Twice as much?! NAH, that would only be $8400. How about $13,000!!!!! For the same exact job that 4 other highly rated companies could do for $3000-4200. This is an insulting price! Trust me when I say that no honest company can be so far off from the others, without knowing that they are screwing you! For this price, I could literally go with another company, replace all of my ductork AND both of my AC units(which they were not doing) for less than this amount! So, if you like throwing your money away to the tune of overpaying by 300%, then Art Plumbing is the company for you! If not, get 2 more quotes, and you will easily see how Art Plumbing is trying to take advantage of your situation! This type of business really makes me angry!!!

Bad company to deal with, they didn't show up on time as promised, when I called to company supervisor Cindy told me that she forgot call me for being late and she is going to send me technician within hour, which I already lost 3 hours of my job waiting for them. Very poor customer service and I don't recommend to deal with the company!!!!

This is a pre-review that will take place in almost 48 hours! See I expect this company to finally do what they have been promising for weeks. This review involves a little old lady in Davie who will be calling this company AGAIN for a resolution, if this isn't complete by Tuesday, March 1, 2016 then I will post EXACTLY what this company did and you will be shocked!! Stay tuned! This issue has been resolved. We will never use this company again.

Zero stars. Called to get a leak fixed. I was not home, my wife was. She got an estimate for $600 to replace a piece pf PVC.... yeah right. Cost me $10 in materials at home depot, and 30 minutes to fix the problem. Honestly, I would have paid $100 because it was Friday and I had things to do. $600 estimate... LOL.... come on guys.... LOL

We had to hire another plumber after art plumbing was unable/unwilling to repair the leak on my mom's home. My 81-year-old mother hired Art plumbing, AC and Electric to repair a water leak under her foundation on her home just before Christmas. The bid was just over $3700 to locate the leak and re-pipe. Included in the bid they also talked her into getting a new water heater. When they arrived, they changed the water heater and valves. They then spent the remainder of their time trying to locate the leak. They claim the leak was on her neighbors property or with the HOA. In total they spent 6 1/2 hours working at her home. They never repaired the leak which they were originally contracted for but still insisted on charging her $3700. A reputable company would have charged her for their time and materials in trying to locate the leak and replacing the water heater, yet instead, Kevin L. insisted that she pay the full amount. She then had to hire another plumber to repair the leak, which was under the slab in her kitchen. This is outrageous! Taking advantage of an elderly woman just before the holidays. I contacted art plumbing to try to get this resolved and I spoke to Chuck. He was completely unreasonable and would not let me speak. He claimed his plumber did not even want to do the job but my mother insisted, and that she knew what she was getting into. Please do yourself a favor and find another plumber, so as to save yourself being ripped off by Art plumping.

An Art employee did some lawn sprinkler work about a year ago and, while expensive, he arrived quickly and took care of the problem. When I needed a large ceiling fan installed on a high ceiling I decided to give them a try last week. Their call service people are eager to """"make you smile,"""" which is great. I made an appointment and stayed home from work the day of the appointment. About 10 minutes before the 2-hour arrival window was up, they called to cancel. Sorry, Art. I'm moving on.

I never like to give bad reviews but this company definitely deserves this and more. For one of my investments properties, my tenant decided to call these people because they saw their advertising somewhere instead of calling the property manager directly. The toilet wasn't flushing properly, well they used a snake to supposedly make the toilet flush properly. They also said that they wouldn't come out to the property without a credit card on file. First of all, I've been in this business for almost 10 years and I have never had a plumber ask for a credit card prior to going to the property and assessing the problem. Second of all, they said they would call me to let me know once they were ready to charge my credit card. Apparently they did, but wasn't able to be reached so they went ahead without permission and charged my credit card anyways. They couldn't wait until I received their voicemail so I could have a chance to return their phone call; I needed to know in detail what was wrong with the toilet. Anyways, I got on the phone and this lady mentioned that they would email me everything that needed to be done in order to get the toilet up and running properly. Well, needless to say, I received the report shortly after I got off the phone with the lady. The total work was going to be $1,594.84 plus a $40 service charge if the plumber went to the site during the week or it was going to be a $200 service fee for going on Sunday after business hours (I read on another review down below where the same lady had told them that they don't work on weekends and here they are trying to charge me an extra $200 bucks, these people must be desperate). She also soooo nicely mentioned over the phone that if the plumber came the next day, they would only charge a $40 service fee and would do no exceptions, how nice of them! Great way to retain customers, good going! So to sum it up, the total would've been $1,834.84, beautiful guys!!! Keep ripping people off like this and you will keep getting lots of business! Well guess what, I hired my own plumber from a different company and he did an amazing job and only charged me $350 and saved me $1,484.84, thanks again Chuck! You're wonderful! Incredible how powerful these reviews are! And no worries, I made sure to tell my tenants about your great reputation here on yelp as well as other sites! On another side note, I just got off the phone with a close friend of mine that unfortunately got ripped off by you guys with an over the top price, very unfortunate! I highly suggest to not use these people and look elsewhere! They will take your hard earned money. What they can do for an outrageous price, you can definitely find for a fraction of their price.

I had to call another plumber since this unprofessional company wasn't capable of getting their plumber on time to my building. And luckily, this new plumber was able to fix my faucets!! After Art's plumber told me he couldn't /wouldn't so I had to buy new ones! After 2 hours searching for similar faucets, I paid extra to have them sooner. And now I have to send them back. I can't even add up the hours I wasted with this company. But at least I saved 400$!!!
