I purchased a Solar attic fan from ARS in January, and it has never worked. I paid $1,600 for it. No one will even come out to look at it. They have set 2 or 3 appointments, but never show up, and never call. I have now talked to almost a dozen people, and they tell me different things. They have even told me that they don't do this kind of work in my area. Then tell me that they will have someone call me, but no one ever calls.

Called for emergency for issues with water and not able to to turn off. Told I was on priority list as number 1 from Natalie. She told me it would be 3-7pm but I was on priority list. I called back at 6pm. She said she couldn't get a hold of dispatch but would call me back. I called back close to 7pm, she hung on on me. Never again using them. I am now stuck with a major issue that I could have found another plumber to handle if they cannot get to it in a reasonable time. Never again

I had a runny toilet and needed to replace a rusted out fill valve in the water tank. As the toilet was wasting water and I couldn't turn off the water at the valve next to the toilet (faulty shut off valve), I decided to forego buying a toilet repair kit from home depot for $20 and doing this myself.
Big mistake. ARS/Rescue Rooter did come within couple of hours of calling. It's $50 for the service call, regardless of whether you do the repair or not. And I was quoted $330 just to replace the fill valve. The plumber wouldn't repair the leaky shut off valve next to the toilet, he wanted me to book another appointment on Monday for that. He didn't even use a complete kit to replace the rest of the old parts in the water tank ie flush valve, gasket etc. Just the fill valve...which you can buy from home depot for less than $8.
With my faulty shut off valve, I couldn't do the repair myself unless I could shut off the main water line to the house. But with many water departments switching to remote water meter monitoring systems and locking the water meter, the main water line shut off is hard to open/operate for normal people (again unless we go to home depot and get the "key" for that.
So I paid, $380 for the plumber to replace a $8 part in the water tank in less than 30 mins and not replace the leaky shut off valve or the rest of the old parts in the tank. Lesson learned. Never again ARS/Rescue Rooter of Dallas. You guys are greedy and this scorched earth pricing will come back to bite you in the long run.
I will opt for local, independent plumbers or try my best to fix minor repairs myself. Thank you for the motivation :)

He was amazing. The initial plumber "SWAT" plumbing gave us a quote and I felt it was exceedingly high. Come to find out they were. ARS was honest And saved us at least $800.

Tech used camera / electrical snake from outside all the way upstairs, in the upward direction, when he should ran snake from upstairs to outside. His procedure caused water to back up to my downstairs bath. Floor/ tub.
A mess I had to clean up. Another plumber looked at , pulled toilets ran line from upstairs to outside..unclothed the line. The company wanted to send out a specialist to chk my line. I already dished out under $200, very disappointed on service

The $99 drain cleanout fee they list online is for the outside cleanout only, once they walk in your front door it goes up to $400 plus the $69.99 show up fee. The tech was great, did a nice job. I had already cleaned out under the sink and prepped the area because I knew he was going to have to enter there. It took him about 1 additional minute to lay down a little mat and undo the pipes so he could feed the auger in. And for that 1 extra minute of work the fee was $301... I think doubling the price from $99 to $200 is somewhat fair because there are unknowns once you get in the house, but $400 is ridiculous. Problem was solved and he was gone in an hour. Would not recommend due to the price gauging.

42722 - Roberto from ARS did a good job on our AC tune up. The service call wasn't too bad either. They're OK, but we've had some reliability issues with this company.

We needed our main line cleared. ARS's website shows $99 but the rep wouldn't confirm the price when we made the appt. Quoted $317 when they arrived without even looking at the issue. Told them no, so he dropped the price to $150. I agreed because we needed the work done. A week later, the line is already stopped up again, which means he didn't clear it properly the first time. They want to charge again stating the reduced price negated any warranty. Funny, he didn't say that the first time. I've never had a plumber that didn't warranty their work for at least 90 days. I will never use them again.

We set up an appointment today for them to come out and unclog our washer drain. I am not sure if their in home service is good, but their customer service is awful. They set the appointment for 12pm. I was on the phone with a client when they called and left a message saying they were on their way. They called again to confirm I was home about 1 minute later. Again I am still on the phone with a client, so I text the phone number and say I am here I am on the phone with the client.
I call their office 9 minutes later say "hey sorry I was on the phone with a client, is the tech on their way?" they told me no, they cancelled the appointment because I didn't answer their phone call. Mind you they called me over an hour before my scheduled appointment time, and I called them back within 10 minutes.
Hey sometimes things happen, I ask if there is something they can do. The lady on the phone who was rude, and short, said I guess I can put you back on the roster for today, they will call you 30 minutes before they get there. 5pm rolls around and no one has come. I call back in and speak with another person. The only notes on my account were that they called and I didn't answer. Nothing about a new appointment, or putting me back on the roster, just that I didn't answer.
I should have taken the insanely low yelp reviews for what they were, the truth. I would advice against people using this service or this company because of how poor their customer service is. Again, I get that things happen, but you don't have to be a complete jerk about it, and then lie to my face saying you will put me back on the roster.

DO NOT USE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE GUARANTEED POST SERVICE. We are having to officially file complaints with the Texas Board considering we've contacted customer service numerous times and she wasn't willing to rectify the problem and wanted to charge again for the trip out to fix their mistake. This company was called after a home inspector found the main sewer line clogged. They cleaned the wrong line, only servicing the kitchen grease line. They were called again after explaining it was supposed to be the main drain line so they came back out and charged again and then said "no blockages"...fast forward two months with toilets having no use (because Buyers haven't even moved in) and the home was flooding when sewage water started coming up from the bottom of the toilets in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. The Plumbers failed to clean the main sewer line out ONCE AGAIN which is accessed through the roof- not the kitchen clean outs like they kept trying. The are not offering any assistance for a solution and the toilets can't be used until everything is cleared out. Customer service said "well they probably won't even remember what they did and why they did it and they would have to charge to see what the issue is." Not the professional response you want when you've already paid them twice and they still haven't resolved anything. Plus this company's admin is very unprofessional, and was reportedly in shouting match with the Seller over this. Warning you, do not use this plumbing company!!
