I wish I had read the reviews here before calling them out to do the work on my home. I bought the home just 3 months ago and I was told the pipes/clean outs were a year old. Well, the clean outs started backing up after just 4 weeks of living there. We had them snaked but the guys recommended calling someone with a camera. I was quoted $88 for the clean out (no mention of the $300 FEE for just using the camera). Brad was there at the scheduled time but said he was not a technician, he was there to 'provide a permanent solution' to my issue.
So, a little while later 2 guys with the camera show up and run the camera while Brad tells me I have old concrete lines that have had holes drilled in them and they are draining into my yard which is a hazard. It had to be fixed immediately and inspected by the city. He measured the pipe and quoted over $5000 to fix. I told him there was no way (I just bought a home, as a single mom, alone) and he literally said 'OH I AM SORRY, I assumed you wanted to FIX the issue" really sarcastically. Then said 'you still owe us the $295 for the camera' (which I paid). Then he comes into the house and sits on my couch and says "I have to call my manager, he'll want to hear why you don't want to fix the problem" and proceeds to call his boss and acts like his boss is doing me this huge favor by offering the work at $4200 and tells me 'at this rate, we are break even, I hope I can even find guys to come do it at this giveaway price'. I told him I didn't have $4200 so he calls a company they work with that will finance the work so it can be done that day.
ALL the while talking to me like I am an idiot and explaining homeownership to me and how I should have been more prepared.
I spoke with the company and they agreed to a loan for the full amount at a high interest rate and the work was supposed to start.
I had to go back to work, but my son calls me to say that 1 guy is in the yard digging by hand. My son asks if he can still use the restroom so I called Brad who was VERY hateful and acted like he had already forgotten who I was.
The next day (only the one guy showed that day and hand dug part of my yard) 2 guys show up and they finally replace the pipe.
During this time I am at work and NOT ONCE did anyone from the company contact me or inform me of the progress. AT ALL. I had to call my 15 yr old who had to go check and talk with the plumbers. I once again, had to send my son outside to see if he could use the restroom yet. They had ALL left. The trench was refilled with dirt and the barriers were gone, so I assumed they were done. BUT NO ONE TOLD ME. Just left.
The yard was FILLED with broken chunks of piping. FILLED. Giant pieces of jagged pipe tossed into my bushes and the yard and the street.
So, a couple of days later, guess who calls?? BRAD. He needed me to come home (I was at work) so I could sign papers. I said "No, I am at my job, and what am I signing??" He kept asking for my work address and insisting he come by. Then he says it's my loan papers and the loan won't go through if I didn't sign right then.
So, I give him my work address and he comes by and it's papers for the loan AND papers saying that I was satisfied with the pipe work and it was completed.
I said 'how do I know it's done, it's all buried now and I never got a call'. So he explained my warranty and that they would come back if there was an issue.
I signed everything to get him out of my office and I feel 1000% ripped off. I have since had 4 quotes for 40' feet of PVC pipe replaced for less than $2800 (one as low as $1500). I was bullied, belittled and taken advantage of and I feel stupid but I am writing this to WARN OTHERS!!!!

My experience with ARS is with an AC unit and it started back on April 8, like many other reviews my window for the appointment was between 2-5, it was 5 already and not call or anything. After I called the usual they were running late and finally somebody showed up around 6. It was supposed to be just a regular check up to start my AC. Needles to say the technician found several issues to be fix and he estimated $1,493. He was a great salesman and very courteous, I ended up purchasing the Home Service Plan and he fixed a couple of the most pressing issues. So far not too bad, the nightmare started when I called back about a month ago, May 15 or so, to do some of the other issues the technician had recommend to take care off. First appointment between 9-1, I called @ 1 just to find out that they were running late like always, I reschedule. The customer representative suggested to schedule the appointment far in the future so that I would be the first customer for that day, so I follow her advice and made an appointment for two weeks later. I took the day off from work and called the day before the appointment just to be sure everything was fine, because I never received a confirmation or text. The lady said that I was on the schedule, but...BUT ( I wanted to faith when she said BUT) emergencies have priority.
Well, sure enough my window was from 9-1 and nobody called during that time. When I called to inquired they said that the technician had called at 1:34 and that I didn't answer.
I should just look for another company, but I purchased their plan.
They reschedule for today June the 19, 2017; window 9-1pm and guess what? Nothing
Today their response is that they are behind due to the rain, ok. BUT they want to reschedule for Friday!! The lady on the phone was rude when I told her that I couldn't do it anymore, that I will have to wait until somebody is available, she then said "I can't warranty anything since you don't want to reschedule for Friday." I'm at lost, I have never being treated this poorly, and to realize that this company is the Official Contractor for Home Depot?, I'm having second thoughts about Home Depot too.

They were able to send someone out quickly so I went with them. Sent them to my mothers house and they Estimated $400 so she called me upset she was going to have to pay so much and I let her know not to accept it and online stated $88. Apparently this is a price you have to request otherwise they will just take advantage of you. They accomplished the job timely with no problems other except for trying to ripoff and elderly old woman.

They arrived very quickley. I had called about a kitchen drain that was clogged. I have had previous problems with this drain. After explaining the history of the drain and including another plumber fixing it 4 months ago. He said he needed to get a supervisor out here to look at it, there must be something else going on with the drain. I panicked and started seeing dollar signs. This was going to get elevated into a hugh fix. After i insisted on just cleaning the drain, he gave me an estimate of $220 and further he wasn't sure he could clear it. I let him leave, went and rented a power drain snake and cleared it myself for $57. They did encourage me to do it myself. I give them credit for that!

My mother needed her drain cleaned. Something she has done every year or so. I saw the advertisement for this company offering a $88.00 drain clean service. Well that is what they use to get you to hire them. Once they are there, they tell you you they need to use difference chemicals, etc and the charge ended up being $219.00.
False advertising. They need to state starting at $88.00 and up. Would not use them again. I wanted to post this review so anyone else doesn't get suckered in on this company with false expectations.

Absolutely pleased with our plumber Jeremy tonight. We had an urgent issue where the sewer drain to the street was backing up into the house. I called, they came out after hours and cleared the clog. Excellent customer service and excellent price. Great job.

Called and they were out the next day within the window they said they'd be here. A nice gentlemen named Brent took care of the clog and put everything back as it was. More importantly he had a talk with my wife about what does and doesn't go down the squeezer. Took a man in a uniform to tell her cause husband is always wrong... Will call them again if needed but hopefully won't.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I had to take a 1/2 day off from work bc they said they would be at my house btwn 3-7. They call at 4 and say they arent coming. I will never use this business again, and I will never recommend them. They are liars and dont care about the disservice they do to potential customers. STAY AWAY!

NEVER hire these people!!! I paid them to find a possible sewer break. They told me they did a camera inspection and found a break and recommended a specialist come out to check it out further and give me a bid for repair. He called before I could get there and said he already was there and didn't find a problem. Several months later, after selling the house, the problem reared its head. New owner sues me for not disclosing a problem THAT I WAS TOLD DID NOT EXIST. ARS comes out and says "yep they have been there and its the same problem they found before. Obviously the guy who said there was no problem made an error. After much time, expense and legal aggravation, ARS will not stand behind their initial wrong diagnosis, and have ignored all calls and attempts to make it right. They even admitted that the guy may not have ever been there in the first place! THEN THEY HAD THE NERVE TO OVERCHARGE THE NEW OWNER THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS that could have been avoided if the initial repair had been diagnosed and repaired in the first place. I have reported them to the State Plumbing Board and I have been informed that they are constantly under investigation for various licensing and practices violations. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
