Recommended Customer Reviews

I would not recommend their services. We had a hot water heater replaced and lack of professionalism lead to a lack of trust in their service. Hot water heater is working fine and technician negotiated the price down to make up for the first technician's poor performance.

Wow the worst service ever! Bought brand new $6000 unit and they have already been back five times within the year. Terrible service not keeping appointments very rude and I am convinced that they are ripping us off. Do not use these guys never ever!!! I created this Account solely for the purpose to give them a negative review that's how bad it was

Raul Lindsay, the plumbing technician, was fantastic! He can prepared with more than enough equipment to handle my plumbing concerns & needs at work. He assessed it, gave three options and I couldn't have been more relieved to hear it wasn't an emergency. He was very professional, informational and had a great chairside manner.

My experiences with ARS are a faulty installation that has never been fully fixed, absolutely terrible customer service, and some frankly shady af installers who were the root of all the problems. I have had nothing but issues with ARS since they did my HVAC install three-four years ago. Every problem I have had with my unit has been because of a shoddy installation that took two days for a 1300sq foot condo. Fast forward to Tuesday 9/8, where I call them to come over and look at the leak stains around my vents, and the mold patch on my ceiling by a vent. We set an appointment for Saturday 9/12. Total no-show, I called ARS three times at 11:55, 5:00 and 7:00 and only received one call back. Their contractor was all over town but never called me to tell me he was running late, backed up, overworked, whatever. I was supposed to have someone come over Sunday 9/13 - no one came, no one called.

No rating as we sent the representative away without any further engagement or work being done. This zero rating then is based upon an interaction with customer experience only and not based on a product performance experience. We were working through Home Depot and trusted them to send someone reliable and trustworthy. Upon the initial consultation concerning replacing a tankless outside water heater, my husband was like, """"No sir."""" """"I've done my research and the prices you are quoting are outrageous even if we supply the unit and hardware."""" """"We will not be going any further."""" I told my husband the reviews for ARS on Yelp were not good ones. It makes me wonder why Home depot would risk their own reputation by supporting this company. It does not leave us with a lot of faith in whom Home Depot suggests as contractors for services.

Too many other choices than this outfit. Misdiagnosis, dozens of phone calls, lack of follow through, lack of integrity. Four people came out to my home to NOT fix the problem and actually created new issues. Got a refund for all my trouble.

Contracted to replace heat pump and air handler that failed. Project was never completed- I didn't sign-off on it but contractor never returned! Cost of missing hardware is in excess of $500! Workers left GARBAGE in my attic- including food cans + wrappers! Salesman didn't apply the $99 inspection """"credit."""" Company won't return my calls. AVOID this company and go local- I wish I had!

Installed a new HVAC and duct work through Home Depot. Best price by a few thousand. They have been back a few times to make adjustments / repair a faulty thermostat valve at no cost. Jim Cameron worked with my budget and got the job done. Mike Piercy followed up with me and verified the system is operating to the designed specifications. They have gone above and beyond their scope of work to make sure I was happy.

If it were possible to rate this company at zero I would. I was approached by their representative while shopping at Home Depot. She asked I they could come out to replace my whole house heating and air unit. I told her I didn't need a new one. I said I wanted ours serviced to work more effectively. She then recommended their $59 AC tuneup service, which she could provide to me for $49. I scheduled. The serviceman came, removed two side panels. hooked up a device with two gages to something, told me to feel how hot the compressor was getting and recommended I replace the entire unit. While I was inside the house he removed the circuit breaker and put it in the panel upside down. I asked if I should turn the unit off at the thermostat. He said that would keep it from overheating. I paid him, but he asked again if I would buy a new unit. This was the classic bait and switch. The next day, another company cleaned the coils released excess pressure from the lines and it works fine.

The worst customer service experience of my life. Total rip off. I paid for the """"Home protection plan"""" that covers preventative maintenance and guaranteed service within 24 hours. I got neither. I do not get calls back. A/C not working despite 10+ visits in 2 year old 3 BR house. Every time they come out they """"have to order a part"""" which takes a week and then they never call back. The incompetence is maddening.
