I tried to fix the toilet myself, and Sam said I probably could have done it if I'd had the right tools! Lucky for me, Sam saved the day, and also took a look at the rest of my plumbing to answer some questions I had. So pleased at the quick response and friendly professional. I will never call anyone but ARS in the future.

Prompt service and polite employees, however they are WAY over priced!!! I was quoted $8,500 to replace my heat pump system. I called out a few other companies and the quotes ranged from $4,800 - 6,300. Don't jump into anything with this company.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Our water heater broke yesterday and had an ARS Tech come out and tell us it was going to cost $1,500 for a new water heater and installation! Sounded ridiculously high so I call Lowes and got an estimate for $900. Long story short Lowes got us the same water heater, installed, and an extended warranty for $850! The Tech even had the nerve to ask how much Lowes was going charge because he was going to price match but couldn't go that low! Sounded like he knew he was screwing us over when we've already been through hell! Will never us ARS again! Go to Lowes instead!

Gave two stars because they were fast in responding to my call, however it seemed like the plumber was trying to fix things that did not need fixed. Also was told by the dispatcher that there would be no fee for the service call itself, when there was really an $89 fee. Quoted me $900 for a repair. Called a different plumber and he was able to make the same repair for less than $200. UPDATE: The repair from the other plumber ended up only costing $70.

We've unfortunately had some bad luck with our rental home, and we've had to call ARS twice in the past 2 days. Both of the workers who came out were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Although we hope no more plumbing issues come up in our home, if something happens we would not hesitate to call ARS in the future!

After four trips by another plumber at another company to fix a chronically clogging condo kitchen sink, we called ARS / Rescue Rooter. We had used ARS years before, but the condo association had been pushing another. In any event, Richard C. came out on a Saturday night, cleaned the under-the-sink plumbing (and found metal objects causing blockage) and fully snaked the line to the street. No further problems. The previous plumber from another company had insisted that plunging was all that is needed -- even after the fourth trip. Richard was very well-mannered, covered the kitchen floor with a tarp, and cleaned things up very well. Very pleased.

Purchased an Angie's List coupon for $99 for $225 worth of services. I had 3 bathroom sinks that drained slowly and I couldn't get one of the stoppers back in. Also have upstairs bathtub faucet that has slow water fill, and water pressure out of the showers is not as strong as I'd like it. As I was at work and my daughter was home, I had plumber call me. His English was poor and I had to repeat things several times. Even after he arrived he kept asking my daughter things after I made it clear to talk to me as she didn't know what I wanted/needed.

He quoted me a price of $225 to fix faucet and said the reason for slow shower pressure was older water heater. I told him to go ahead and try to clean out bathroom sinks and replace the faucet. All he did was replace the faucet and give me an estimate for $1,300 to put in a new water heater.

After the face I did some research and the faucet costs about $25 and takes 10-20 minutes to replace. When I called ARS they said plumber was there for 1 1/2 hours and shouldn't have been expected to do anything else since I ok replacing the faucet.

Bottom line for me is I feel ripped off paying $125 for a repair I could have done myself for $25 and 20 minutes, and they tried to sell me a new water heater for $1,300 which I find outrageous.

I was referred to this company by Utility shield. They were very helpful and arrived promptly the next day just 30 minutes after the start of their 4 hour arrival window. My water heater had stopped working and was beginning to leak on the floor a little. The plumbers name was Chris Davis and he was very helpful and he even waited patiently while I put our 2 big dogs away. He said because of the age of the unit that it was not worth repairing. I expected that would be the case. Utility shield refused to cover anything because they are scamming jerks. Chris was very sympathetic and quoted me the cost of replacement which was a little high but quite normal for a top grade plumbing contractor. I told him thank you and even though I still do not have hot water, I would recommend this company. Their people are courteous and polite.

Called in the early morning and they said someone would be there between 12 and 4pm. Someone came two hours after the window! Didn't have any parts with him. Started quoting me crazy numbers for cleaning out the sump pump and for a new sump pump which would have been $1300. Ended up going with a more professional and honest plumbing company whose fees were half of those of ARS!
