On Thursday 5/1/14 we had Michael D. HVAC tech come run routine maintenance and checks on our heating and air conditioning units. He was very friendly and courteous. My wife and I were very happy that he explained everything to us in detail and answered all of our questions. He had explained things to me about the air conditioner and was perfectly happy to repeat the same information to my wife so that we both had full understanding of the issues we were having. He made suggestions for repair and replacement for our units but never pressured us into doing anything. He told us about the ARS service membership which we signed up for and left us feeling like we were being well taken care of.

Tom B. came out to show us how to work our thermostat. He was on time and very friendly. He found the literature for our thermostat and quickly reprogrammed it for us. It was great to have someone help us out so quickly and efficiently! Thanks, Tom!

Sam came to our house this am. He arrived at the promised time, was efficient, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He is ordering a part and said he would return within a few days to repair it. It was a very positive experience overall and I would certainly recommend this company

I'm giving four stars not for the worker who actually ended up coming out and doing the work. His name was Sam Evans and he did a GREAT job. Unfortunately though, it was a NIGHTMARE trying to work with my homeowners insurance and ARS to get the work actually completed. I know HOI companies can be very difficult to work with (I DON'T recommend AHS- they're AWFUL), but there was a great deal of poor customer service on the part of ARS as well- IE appointments never being scheduled on their end that were actually set up and planned for, being hung up on, spoken to rudely, the run around...literally 10 phone calls to finally get it done right. So that fact that I am giving them 4 stars really speaks volumes on what a professional Sam was. He showed up quick, got right to work, fixed it right and was out of here in 2.5 hours. It was EASILY a 3.5 hour job. You may have a better experience working with them directly and not through an HOI company, but regardless, the plumbers a great.

After calling another company that couldn't get to my house until the next day, I tried calling ARS. I was surprised that they could get me in same day between 2 and 6, despite that it was late morning when I called. I received a phone call around 1:30pm, saying that the tech would be there soon, and sure enough, Richard C. showed up with time to spare. Richard was professional and explained the solution for the issue that I was having, a clog in the kitchen sink. He quoted me a price of $89 to fix the clog and mentioned that the rusted sink basket had the potential to cause problems in the near future and offered to replace and install it for $75. After discussing with my husband, we decided to have both the repair and sink basket installation completed. The clog proved to be more difficult that originally thought, and Richard attempted clearing it multiple times. Despite it taking nearly 3 hours to fix the clog and install the sink basket, the bill was the same as the price I was originally quoted. Richard also was sure to clean up after the job was done, which was a relief for this new mom. I definitely recommend ARS and Richard C. to anyone looking for a quality plumber!

I called mid-morning for a drain issue and was immediately given a time slot within two hours. The CS agent was very polite and informative. He was knowledgeable of their services and explained their service process thoroughly.
Richard C. called soon after and gave us an eta that he met within 5 mins. Due to the length of our connection to the sewer system, extra effort was needed to find the root of the issue. He stayed on task until a solution was found and the issue was resolved. Although the job was more labor intensive than presumed, he charged what was quoted and provided preventive maintenance tips for the future.
I felt the CS and Tech were very professional and I received what I was promised. I was directed to them via referral and will now refer them in the future. Very good customer experience.
