Our 2 units are 5 yr old installed by ARS and EVERY YR we had had PROBLEMS costing us an additional 2,000.00 to correct...Last yr we had a TEV valve that went bad in our upstairs unit due to INCORRECT installation of the unit that was told to us by the tech...at a cost of over 800.00...sooo...every yr we get a little paranoid as to what ARS will tell us about our units but this yr took the cake n is the REASON why we will NEVER call or deal nor recommend ARS to any of our friends...our annual AC tune up took us 6 wks of even trying to get a tech to service us n the reason we were given was that they will put us on there call list as they were fixing broken repairs first..I understand that but makes me question possibly ..HIRE more techs???...then when Kevin Jones came to service our AC units...he said he was only here to service ONE unit...SERIOUSLY..we have TWO UNITS??....so after a ph call to dispatcher he was given permission to service 2 units at a rate of 48.00 each so we paid 98.00 for NOTHING..because all he did was basically ck the Freon...told us that he didn't know what type of growth we had on our condenser n evaporator coils but that we would NEED a CHEMICAL cleaning at a cost of 522.00 n that he could put an ultraviolet bulb to retard growth n clean out blower assembly for 729.00 at a TOTAL COST of 1,251.00. So with that being said ..we have FAITHFULLY chg our indoors filters n my husband cleaned both units last yr twice..then Kevin said he cleaned cobwebs n debris out...well....guess what..HE LIED...my husband went out n cleaned all around the condensers n it had cobwebs n some grass ...so it was NOT even touched..he cleaned the condenser n evaporator coils on BOTH UNITS n GUESS WHAT..it was just PLAIN OLD DIRT..NO MOLD ..NO GROWTH of undetermined origin as Kevin said he didn't know what was on the coils...they are clean as a WHISTLE..my husband took before n after pics....all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...evidently their techs n I don't know this to be a fact but my GUESS would be that their techs possibly make COMMISSON on SALES..then he said a screw was loose on switch on float pan n he tried to tighten but it was STILL LOOSE..DUH...do you NOT have some screws in your service truck to REPLACE that screw but NO he wanted to SALE us a supposedly UPGRADED better float switch..well GUESS WHAT..again my husband went up n the screw was NOT LOOSE n it was attached just find to the float pan...OMG....sooo...basically we paid 98.00 for this tech to do BASICALLY NOTHING !!!...but giving us MISINFORMATION n basically LYING or doesn't know what the heck he is doing...he stated he has only been a tech x3 yrs ...I think he needs to GO BACK TO SCHOOL n needless to say ..we will NEVER CALL ARS AGAIN..oh yeah...one other piece of misinformation ARS has been feeding us all these yr is that you have to have them to service your units so that the warranty on condenser will be honored..n that is wrong as that is a MANUFACTUER WARRANTY that is NOT thru ARS...soooo....just BEWARE of this company who basically had very little n possible NO INTEGRITY in treating their customers!!!!!...oh ..by the way..I would add ZERO STARS to this company!!!!!

So I bought a new unit from ARS approximately 2 1/2 years ago. It has gone out twice. Today when it went out again, I called to get a service technician out. They first told me they could have one out on Saturday. I booked appointment and they called me back later and said they would need to reschedule to Monday. I again booked appointment only to get a call back telling me they couldn't come out until Tuesday. So now I am without air conditioning for 5 days with a unit that is only 2.5 years old. Do not buy from this company.

Called ARS / Rescue Rooter for an emergency. They came out for the service call quickly and John was great. He explained what he was going to do and went about it. Thanks John and thanks ARS.

We called them to find and fix a leak in the water main line. They had to refer us to another company to find the leak. The other company found the leak and dug the hole. ARS was notified that the leak had been found. We heard nothing for several days. They finally scheduled something for 8am-they were specific about that time and THEY set that time. My wife waited until 930-no one contacted her until I reached out to ARS. They apologized and gave us a 15% discount and said they would be out to finish the work later the same day. Nope, nothing. They finally came out the next day and charged a ridiculous amount for the work they did-basically cutting PVC pipe, replacing a length, and filling in the hole. We got no up front quote and the price they charged was expensive. We will never use this company again and I will tell anyone who will listen how unhappy we are with this company.
I would give them no stars if I could.

I had a scheduled appointment today for a heating and cooling maintenance check-up between 8am and 12pm. The repair person contacted me at 2pm to let me know he is taking a 30 minute break and will then travel to our home. I asked him where he is currently located and learned that he is 35 minutes away. By the time he arrives, the technician will be 3 or more hours past the latest arrival time. Worst of all, no one from the company contacted us to provide a status update.

Previously we have had very good luck with ARS Rescue Rooter. Unfortunately, it appears that this once customer service oriented company is heading down the wrong path. Now, I'll need to take time away from my business again to ensure ARS delivers on our service agreement!

ARS came to clean clogged drain 3/11/19, I paid them $299.00. Ran snake from septic tank into house. Worked for three days and clog returned. I called for a return on 3/18/19 and they said that they would come on emergency basis. Called back 2 hours later and said that there would no charge to but the video camera work would cost an additional $240.00. I informed them that I am living on social security and don't have another $240.00 for a video inspection. They then said that they would come and run snake again for $100.00 but with no guarantee. I told them TGFY and that I would call a real plumber. Houston, TX based company could care less about Nashville. PS- Plumber that they sent was nice guy. Customer service stinks.
NO THANKS ARS, YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT AT ME. Thanks for the form letter that you send to all with bad reviews. I would like my money back for work NOT done.

I had to have mainline sewer replaced. For each of the three appointments, the plumbers were 30+ minutes late (once it was 5 hours). It took 4 tries to get the work to pass code (meaning my yard was in shambles for a month) and they then left a hole that is over two foot deep because they did not fill it back in correctly. I received no response when I sent the plumber manager pictures of the yard and when I called I was told ""we do not do landscaping"". Though I qualified for their financing option, they have still (over 3 months later) not turned my bill over but instead are sending me past due notices. Under no circumstances would I ever use this company or recommend this company ever again. HORRIBLE service.

ARS/ Rescue Rooter of Nashville. #1 Their workmanship was outstanding, both technicians Dillan and his colleague were extremely professional and courteous. They installed a new Carrier 2 stage HVAC unit into our home in ample time.Both technicians were able to answer any / all of our questions we had with absolutely no hesitation or uncertainties and, they explained everything in fine detail. I will be recommending them to anyone/ everyone I know that requires their professional expertise. ARS Rescue Rooter of Nashville is lucky to have such a great team of professional HVAC technicians.Thanks again guys.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! We had a leak in our dishwasher and it had leaked into our subfloors and into our crawl space. I called multiple people and was told earliest they could do was Monday. I was so happy that rescue rooters could come out today! I called around 2PM and was told we'd be called by a technician when they are on the way. 7 PM rolls around and my husband calls to see when they would come. Whoever I spoke with DIDNT PUT OUR NAME IN THE SYSTEM! We waited 6 hours for no one to show up and by that time we were told it was too late to have someone come out. Unbelievable. We won't be using them again. Thanks rescue rooters for no rescue on your behalf!

I was overcharged for a A/C check up through this company through Home Depot Home Services. I told the tech when he came out and he said he knew nothing about it. I made several calls and spoke with receptionist and also the Home Depot Home Services personnel. I'm not sure what kind of scam they are running. Beware of this company and also Home Depot that they do work through!
