We needed a check up on the water heater outside and I was impressed at how quickly the technician came he was well groomed ready for work friendly kind and prompt. Absolutely loved his demeanor as well as the woman on the phone who placed the work order. The value was exceptional considering it was covered under the warranty we had and there was little to nothing to worry about price wise !

Referred by Lowe's for water heater install. Guy came out gave a 1 line estimate of 1542.00 with no breakdown of why so much. No labor no parts list. He just took 10 seconds and gave me ridiculous quote.

Do not use this service. We ordered a hot water heater through Lowe's and ARS Rescue Rooter and the company gave us hours of 8-12:00 am they never showed up or called. When I did called they gave me a rude tone and said they would be out again between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. I started getting worried around 5:00pm and I called again. The operator on the phone was very rude and put me on hold for 10 minutes then came back on the phone and said that they are on their way and they should be there any minute. By 6:10 pm I called again and the same rude lady answered and told me that they would not be out today and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I tried to explain to the Russia lady over the phone that we have a big family and we have been waiting all day to get our hot water back on. She was still very rude and did not care about anything I had to say. Now it is Sunday and we have been waiting for this company to come out for three days and now the want to reschedule for Monday.
I can't believe we paid money for this service through Lowe's. Very disappointed. This company has no integrity and told us lies over the phone. I have never ever made a complaint before but the rude remarks on the phone drove me over the edge. They had no problem taking my money and I could only imagine what could have happened if something went wrong. I'm just a hard blue collar worker taking care of my home and family. Do not use this company go somewhere that has a sense of integrity and is reliable.

Connected with this company through Lowe's for a water heater replacement. They will charge you almost quadruple the price of the water heater itself and this price is with a ""special discount"". When I requested several times for an itemized report of everything their service tech told me it covered, I received no response. Also, failed city inspection first time around. They were quick to make the necessary corrections, which I appreciate, so then why is it taking so long for the itemized report?Unethical business practices. Spend your hard earned $ elsewhere.

Just a total bait and switch scam: The website promotes an $83 drain cleaning. I needed a drain snaked and this was the first plumber to say they could come the same day in 1-2 hours. Great I thought: quick and cheap.
2 1/2 hours later they called to say they were on their way. 20 minutes later they called to say that a tech would not be able to come out until the next day before 11 am. Had I known this from the beginning, I would not have booked them and this should have been the moment when I tell them not to come. Anyway, the tech showed up at 12:30 pm and tells me that my case is ""special"" so the charge would be $486 now. This was a rental property that I could not delay any more so I very reluctantly accepted the quote. The 30 feet of drain pipe was snaked and unclogged in less than 30 minutes. The tech had been on site for less than 1 hour. So I called the office to ask why I was charged so much. The manager says that the $83 price is only valid if the clean out point is outside the house. Once they have to go inside the house with the power snake, the price is suddenly 6 times greater. The $486 charge is the standard fee since the clean out was in the house. I asked, why so much more since no more time is required? They use a couple disposable pads to catch any debris, but other than that, there is nothing special about an inside job. The manager tried to explain why an inside job is more complicated, but none of his explanation applied to my quick and straight forward drain cleaning. Learn from my mistake: when you book a plumber--especially with promotions--be specific and ask the following question: What will it cost to snake the main line (estimate the pipe length) from outside or inside the house? I now would prefer an honest answer like, ""$75 for the service call, and $75 per half hour,"" instead of a low-ball come-on like, ""Any drain opened for $83*."" If you ever see an * make sure you read the fine print that goes with it. You will also pay for a quick response. The smaller and more local plumber may be on the job and won't return your first call for hours or maybe even a day and then will say that they are booked for the next 1-3 days, but in the end you will be happier with the pricing--especially if they have good reviews on the independent review websites that are not part of the business. NEVER believe the reviews on the business' website!

The storm came and we had no idea our backyard drains were completely clogged. Woke up to 2 inches of water in my den and the water wouldn't stop coming in. No Plummer would come out in the rain, said it was dangerous. Luckily I came across ARS and they came out in about an hour. Bo was relentless. Would not stop snaking my drains until they started to work, which took several hours in the rain. Found out all my drains had some serious roots which stopped them from completely working. Bo recommended we descale and I am so happy we did. Cali doesn't usually get rains like this and I know more are coming. So grateful we came across Bo and ARS. He was the most thorough Plummer I have ever met.

Please Read All the Negative reviews about this company and save yourself some frustration. They all have a common theme, no show, no call. shoddy work, and the same generic response from their customer service.

I called this company for a drain cleaning. They gave me a two hour window when they did not show up or call within the two hour window I called them back. They told me it would be an additional three hour delay. Three hours later No show / no call, I called them back again and they pretended they were unaware of my request and tried to reschedule for the next day after 3pm, When I brought to their attention their text and emails . They had a ""manager"" Anthony call and try to BS me by offering a discount, The discount he offered was higher than the price they had originally quoted in the first place. At that point I attempted to cancel with the assurance that I would not use ARS in the future.

So he agreed to send over a tech at no cost the following morning.
The next day, Elijah showed up with a broken snake. (See the pictures.) When Questioned him how he could possibly remove the blockage with nothing on the end of the snake, he assured me that they would honor their 90 day guarantee. However, a week later when the drain backed up, they had me sit home all day and called me at 3pm to refuse to honor their 90 day warranty.
When the actual plumber from a different company came to do the work and saw the pictures of the broken snake, he told me oftentimes companies will use no cutter on the end of the snake to guarantee a second more costly visit or to upsell you on other work, just his opinion. Don't take my word for it. Read the other reviews and be forewarned.

In my opinion both Anthony and Elijah were dishonest with me. I will not use this service ever again. You get what you pay for.

This company is horrible.They are an affiliate with another company in another state. I was scheduled for 10-10-22 between 12:00- 2:00. On the morning of the 10th I got a call indicating that there would be a 4 hour window. I was told 9:00-1:00. At 1:15, I was told my request went to the wrong company. I was told someone would be there in 45 minutes. At 3:15 I get a call that the technician was at my door. I contacted another company. I require reliable businesses!!

My pipes sprung a leak and water was pouring down a vent in my bathroom. We turned the water off and started contacting plumbers that would come out quickly. The first plumber did not speak English. Steve Castillo was the second plumber to come out. He had a worker go into my attic and he confirmed where my leak was. He then told me he would have to test for asbestos before starting any work and it would cost me $1100. WHAT? Then he said they could repipe my home but it was going to cost around $15,000 and I would have to wait for 4 days with no water. He had two vehicles at my home and he could still not perform any work until he came back later the next week and I wrote him a check. Needless to say, I called another plumber who came out and temporarily fixed the leak so I have water. He then returned in 4 days and repiped my home for $7,000. I will never call ARS - they are a total ripoff!!
