Where to begin. The incompetence and deception from start to finish is astonishing. First, their web site showed you can get a $75 discount or $50 depending on the service needed. Then, I was told they'd be here between 8-10 a.m. The guy finally arrived at 11:45 p.m. after mulptiple calls to find out where the guy was. By the way, when I called, they backtracked the possible discount indicating that the $75 off would not apply and the $50 off would be off the ""full price"" as if they would be offering otherwise some sort of discount. The guy looks at my kitchen pipes under the sink and came up with some BS story that he can't snake my pipes because the pipes below the sink are glued together. So, that meant that this would be far more costly a venture. So, I sent him on his way and called another plumber, who was able to fix it with no issue. Thankfully, the one saving grace is that they offer free quotes so I wasn't out any money. The other plumber who I called, incidentally, was able to pull apart the pipes from under my sink and snake it without issue.

5 stars for their phone answering service and the fact that they were able to come out the same day to snake our main drain. Only really disappointing thing was that when the plumber said the toilet had to be removed temporarily to snake the drain, he quoted us $500, which is just crazy. We removed it ourselves in under 5 minutes while he went to grab the snaking tool from his truck, and put it back after. Ended up owing $88, which was reasonable.

If the stars rating could be started from -5 stars, this company deserves the negitive 5 stars!!! Had them to fix our pluming was a nightmare!! They have a name "" whatever pluming service"" which me n my family named it. They spend 10 days to fix a not that complicated pluming problem. The whole family no restroom, no show in10 rainy and freezing days and nights! The workers No show , no notice was a regular situation. We have to work and school, called the company, always said"" Sorry about that, will send people at xxxtime."" but still No show, no notice! They charged us around $7,000 for fixing a ""big deal "" problem as they described. Their work so whatever, the pluming they fixed is not as Good as I expected. they broke the wall, oh, whatever! they patched up the holes with not match colors cement, the surface unbelievable rough! oh, whatever! whatever! The worker filled up the holes with trash which my husband found out and stopped them! They redo it unwillingly! Who knows for the jobs we did not see appropriate or not! Whatever Rescue Rooter~ Makeing it NOT work. Making it NOT right.

On 2/21/19 we had a sewer problem at my house, so my wife calls ARS because they advertise a drain clearing special of $69. Steven shows up to our house and tells my wife he cant clear the obstruction. He said he put a camera into the septic tank and cant see what the obstruction is so Steven suspects that the pipe leading into the septic tank has shifted and is not longer filling the tank.

Steven suggests to my wife digging up the line replacing the dropped line and adding a clean out for $5000. I spoke to Steven and he gave me the same story. I told him I wanted a second opinion. So that $69 cleaning special is now a $240 bill for nothing, except added stress.

So on the way home, I stop by the Home Depot and rent a 75' drain cleaner for $60. It took some effort but I cleared the obstruction, which was a toy and plastic bag courtesy of my grandkids I'm sure.

Every profession has its own set of values and ethics, which I'm sure the plumbing profession has. So in my opinion Steven did a couple of unethical things 1) He saw that we had a sewage problem and knew we needed to get it cleared ASAP because of the little kids running around the house 2) did not put enough effort forth to clear the obstruction 3) Steven knows he has us over a barrel, so he tries to sweet talk my wife into going for his over inflated, not necessary, BS estimate, and still charges us $240. BTW he tells my wife that the $240 will apply to the $5000 today only. Gee thanks Steven.

I don't know why anyone would want to call this company. But if you do be aware of being swindled, bamboozled, and taken advantage of. All that added to the stress of trying to get something fixed.

When we leave reviews, we leave them because it's either great or the complete opposite. I had a plumbing issue at a multi family apartment unit that I property manage in the city of Los Angeles, which resulted in turning off the main water for all units until the issue was resolved. I scheduled the appointment at around 6AM. I was told that the plumber would arrive from 8-9:30AM. Later the tenant told me that the technician would run late and they would arrive around 11AM-12. When they did not show up, I gave them a call at 12:15PM. I was told that they were understaffed and they would have to take care of it the next day.

This ordeal is extremely frustrating. This company should have given me a straight answer that they could not take my work order instead of postponing the appointment and purposely lying to me that they would run late. This company also should have taken the initiative to give notice of a change in their schedule. I had to call them and only when I did, was I able to get a straight answer.

I found this company on google reviews and decided to give them a try. Regardless of the quality of the work they do, or do not do, their poor communication, irresponsibility in handling calls, and false assurances will steer me away for good. I advise all property managers, as well as anyone dealing with an emergency plumbing issue to try another emergency plumbing company or handyman that is honest.

You need to ask yourself, if this plumbing company can not even be honest with time, how can they be honest with identifying your plumbing issue and giving you an honest truthful answer?

This company is totally unprofessional! I had a 12-2 pm appointment. When no one called around 1:41 pm, I called and was told that it would be another hour before the technician would arrive. At 2 pm, no one showed up and I called again and was told it would be another forty-five minutes. They were sending a technician that was closer, the previous tech was about an hour away. At 3:11 pm I called again and they told me there had been a mix-up and they were again sending a closer tech, it would be another thirty minutes. At 4 pm I called and they told me the tech was at the gate with the guard. I waited five minutes and still the tech hadn't arrived. When I called back for the umpteenth time, they told me the tech went to the wrong address. I don't know how that is possible! How can he mix up Hollywood with Rancho Dominguez!? This ordeal did not make any sense and was a royal waste of my time. Don't use this business, they don't know how to schedule appointments and use a navigation app.! Totally ridiculous!!

We called because our water heater wasn't working. At 9:30 AM I was told a technician would arrive within the hour: he actually showed up at 4:30. He did get the water heater working, but he left me with no cold water in the laundry. Although the company advertises round-the-clock service, I wasn't able to get anyone to the house the same day. I was told someone would come to fix the problem between 8 and 10 the next morning. I called at 7 AM and again at 8 AM to explain that the job wasn't finished and to request priority service. I explained that I had to leave my house at 10. At 8:35 I was informed that the technician was on his way. It was easy enough to figure out that he'd never arrive before 10. That means that ARS charged me $180 to tighten two valves and turn on a pilot light, leaving me with a problem for another plumber to address. The people on the phone are very nice. The taped message on the line makes all kinds of promises. I will never call this company again.

Our tenant's 40 gallon gas water heater was leaking and we scheduled ARS Rescue Rooter to provide us with a quote. They quoted us $690 for the water heater and then $2000 for the labor and city inspection. When I asked for the breakdown of the labor costs, the plumber couldnt verify the breakdown because ""he received the quote from his manager"". From experience, city inspections are about $200 so they were attempting to charge $1800 for labor to replace a water heater. We received additional quotes and were told that it should cost about $1200 total for water heater + labor. This place is waaaay overpriced. Needless to say we ended up taking our business elsewhere.
