Not sure why so many reviewers thought they were scammers. We had an urgent situation and they came within an hour (on a Saturday) and were reasonable. Anthony, the plumber was knowledgable, courteous, helpful and straightforward about everything.

DONT US terrible came late 2 hrs late i was told i would get a discount i had called other but could not come out now so i had no out of this it took him 10minutes $172 and that was with a discount

I was not sure what to expect from Rescue Rooter but when my sewer system was cleaned up of all of the roots and a new sleeve in place it's as if I had a new house again! ARS did an excellent job and I could not be happier!

Horrible plumbers trying to pull a scam on parts and repairs. Over charges for them as well. I don't believe that BBA stamp on the website is real

Called in at 9am and they told me they would have someone out to my home in 90min. After several phone calls back to them, each time they keep saying another 90min. It's been almost 7 hrs now .. and they still haven't showed up. This place is completely unprofessional. Horrible service

Extremely satisfied with the timely, efficiency, and pricing of ARS Rescue Rooter - LA Basin. The service tech, Juan, was most knowledgeable, forthright, and highly experienced in resolving the issue. Upon speaking with the manager, Doug, he was great with his understanding and concern. My neighbor and I, as we shared a common ""Y"" drain, highly recommend ARS Rescue Rooter - LA Basin for all plumbing concerns.

I called for a clogged up sink once the guy arrived I explained the issue he took a look at just the sink to see there was very minimal water to see it was clogged. He explained what he may have to do such using a 30 ft snake which seemed s but much for the nature of the issue and the quote . He quoted me $340.00 I said absolutely not!! I explained I have had companies use a 75 ft snake for the outside drain. So he asked how much was I willing to pay ?????? Really we're negotiating. So I said I have paid $150 for the outside drain so he said let me call my company then he came back with a $220 quote I said 200 max being fair and somewhat realistic. He agreed saying he wouldn't have to call his company for a$20 difference. So he proceeded he took the pipes off showed me the stoppage and literally snaked for under a minute. Seriously so I asked if could at least snake for another minute and he stated it wouldn't make a difference. Nice guy but I told him I've owned this house since 1991 and thank god never been quoted that much for a drainpipe. I said I just felt like I was Just Robbed. The negotiation got me and I asked how would you feel if someone quoted high and then asked how much are you willing to pay. Taking advantage of. Beware use this company with caution.

This is my first review ever but people should be advised not to call this company. I had an issue with our toilet that I was unable to take care of myself because I'm away from home for work. So my wife called and they came reasonably quick but when she called me to let them talk to me they told me ""a piece"" was lodged in the drain and was completely stuck and they could replace it but it would probably happen again. The cost of doing that ""temporary fix"" and replacing one wall valve to the toilet... $380! But he recommended that we just go ahead and replace the entire toilet. The cost for that $800!!! So after my wife bought a $94 toilet from Home Depot for me to install after my 14 hr work day I come home and pull out the flapper that lodged itself in the drain in about 3 minutes, go to Home Depot and buy a new one for $7. Put it in in 1 minute. Toilet works just fine. These people are absolute crooks that will take advantage of you if given the opportunity. Find another plumber!!!

These guys are professional scam artists - con men. I've been the owner of apartments for 25 years. The 3 plumbers I normally use were tied up and because I live an hour away I asked my tenant to find a plumber. They rooted my main, the garage and the laundry room and charged $742. He wanted to go back and get a camera and stick it down the main because of roots. I told my tenant tell him, ""No"". Good thing! I hate to imagine what they would have charged for the camera.

It was a $200-$300 job and I got stuck with a bill for $742. The review that call them scam artists and deceitful are absolutely true. They overcharge and really take advantage of you.

They promised a $79 fee to get unclog my (kitchen) or anyones drain. The nice plumber showed up on time, was professional and so forth. He came in, asked a few questions, looked under the sink and then stated it would not be $320!!!!!. I asked him how long it would take and he told me about 30 minutes so it was not that involved generally. I told him no way and he then called his supervisor who gave me a discount to $275!!!. What a rip-off and because of these crooks I have had to hang out at home most of the day. Avoid this company!!!
