Called for dishwasher install to replace ancient one that was there. You could hear the old one outside of the house. It was time. Guy came out. Quoted $495 for install with pipe rerouting and other work. No showed to return the next day and when I called, was told no appt on books. I rescheduled. Guy no showed. I rescheduled and guy did install. Did not do any of the work quoted and said it wasn't needed. I called office. 'We will call you about any price issue once we research it.' Dishwasher falls out from counter. Called to get fixed. No show. I called again to reschedule. Still no word on my price issue. Guy comes out to fix problem. Next day, dishwasher falls out again from under counter. I'm not bothering to call. I can use a screwdriver properly and fix it. NIGHTMARE-I cannot believe I tolerated three no shows. Jerks. Manager. Cathy, doesn't listen and talks over you because obviously, she knows more than you about the situation and can explain everything. Very rude. I'm sure I will never hear from them about the price issue.

it is 4 days later and i still have no hot water service. do not use this company. they are extremely unprofessional!

FYI - this is my first YELP review. I am so disgusted in the lack of service that I'm moved to save others time. Also, I appreciate all the time (and money) others have saved me on here! Now it's time for me to give back: Plumbing problem - Main bathroom sink won't drain and plumbing is leaking in bathroom. Last week, I was put in touch with this company through a home warranty that came with the house I recently purchased. I didn't have a choice as to who I used, but that's ok as it's part of the warranty. On a positive note, they called me very quickly after I submitted the service request to schedule the appointment. They scheduled it in a window from 1:00pm to 6:00pm for two days later. It went downhill from there. On the day of expected service, I called around 9:00am to confirm they were coming that day as I had errands to run and they said yes, they were coming and that they would call me 30-45 minutes before the technician was to arrive. At 5:00pm, I had not heard from them so I called them to once again confirm they were coming because it was getting late and starting to get dark. I was told at that time that YES, they were coming, but they were just running behind that day, but if I wanted to reschedule, I could. I said no, that I needed this taken care of today and that I'd been waiting all day for them, not to mention the two days since the appointment was scheduled. At 5:30pm, the same lady I spoke to called me to inform me that NO, in fact they WOULD NOT be coming that day and could I reschedule for the next day. I said no! At that point, I was extremely agitated and I let them know their service was completely lacking and unprofessional...bush league! Joe was very nice and professional. He explained what work needed to be done and because he needed to get parts, came back first thing the next morning to complete the work. He was quick and now everything works great!

Joe with Rescue Rooter Atlanta was great! He quickly located our gas leak after a different company was unable to and fixed it really fast! He was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this company!

When I realized that the 40-gallon water heater located in the basement was leaking. I called our A/C and heating service immediately. Johnny H. and his assistant Josh arrived at the house promptly. Johnny quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the issue clearly and in details. He clearly was very experienced and knew what he was doing. He suggested to have the water heater replaced but was not pushy. When I agreed to the fair quote for the new heater and labor cost, they quickly got to work. Within two hours, they installed a new high efficency water heater and brought the pipes and valves up to code. It was amazing! Not just we avoided a potential big water disaster. The experience was great. I must also mention that Josh was such a polite, respectful young man. How refreshing to see young people who present such humble, respectful, hardworking and engaging manner. Johnny H. was a great mentor and teacher to Josh. He quizzed Josh on the diagnosis and Josh gave good answers. He obviously was learning well from Johnny. Josh was also fully engaged in the whole installion process. The two of them formed such great team. It was such a great expereince that I will recommend their service to everyone. On top of all that, they were so cheerful and friendly :) Thank you very much, Johnny and Josh.

Joe J. came to my home to repair my toilet, he found the issue right off, after several other people missed it. He even identified other issues that were in my home. Joe was great....I would recommend him again and again.

HIGH PRESSURE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!! I hired Rescue Rooter Atlanta to come clear my sewer pipe, run a camera to inspect the line, and install a clean out pipe. I agreed to the asking price for the job of $700 for the COMPLETION of all three items mentioned above. I, myself, had already dug out and exposed the problem area of the pipe. When they showed up, they smashed a hole in the pipe which took two hard hits and tried for approximately 1-2 minutes to put a camera in the line while my husband and I stood there and watched them. They were unable to see anything and said the line needed to be snaked first. They tried to snake the line for approximately 10 minutes and then told us it was useless and that we needed an entire new sewer pipe. They refused to snake the line any further after we asked them to try some more saying """"they knew when a line could not be snaked"""". They then tried to high pressure us into a $9K job on the spot. I said that we would need time to price comparison shop before saying yes to a job of that price. We had no idea we would need the entire line replaced. They pressured us even further saying that if we pulled the trigger right now they would take several hundred off the price bringing it to $8,500, but if they drove away the price would be 9K. We said we would still need time to decide and comparison shop, but asked them to close up the sewer line so we were not left with exposed raw sewage in our yard (we have small children living next door that play outside). They refused to even seal up the open line and install the clean out pipe saying that they would do it when they did the entire line and not before because installing it now would not be the correct way to do this job. We learned later that this was incorrect information and had the line closed up before the pipe was replaced with no problem. Without a sewer line the house we were living in was suddenly unusable. The toilets were at least working before they came out. Needless to say I was confused when he gave me the invoice for $700 which was quoted for completing the job and I complained about it to the plumber. I told him that they had been there for less than half an hour, and I had received none of the completed promised work. They told me to not worry about it because the money I was paying would all go towards the final services of putting in a new sewer line. When I said that was only IF I used them for the job, the plumber became very confrontational and defensive so I decided take up the issue with the manager of the company versus the plumber himself. Feeling that if I pushed any further with him at my house it would turn into an ugly confrontation. The plumber then proceeded to sit in his truck out front of our house for more than an hour. I found out later that was to bump up his time so he could justify his charges. His manager said he was on site for over two hours (WRONG) When I followed up with the manager, after several days of calling repetitively, she herself acknowledged that it seemed like we were over charged and offered to refund for the services left uncompleted. She said she needed to ok the refund with HER manager and return a call to us the following Monday (we had spoken on Friday). I did not get a return call and left several more messages with her and her secretary with no response. Every time I called I was asked my name and all of a sudden no one was available and I needed to get called back. As of yet I still have received no call back! Since this incident I have had another company successfully run a camera all the way down the line (the line had to be snaked 1st to get it through) which took them approximately 2 hours . Something Rescue Rooter said could not be done, but was willing to charge for anyway. I also have had the sewer line replaced for 4K which was half the price of what Rescue Rooter was attempting to strong arm me into by leaving me with an unusable line. A couple of weeks after the incident I ran into the plumber at Home Depot. He knew I was complaining about the job and proceeded to to get in my face and curse me out. EXTREMELY unprofessional and I am not kidding when I say that writing this review makes me a little nervous for possible retaliation from them. p.s. Micah came a day earlier than our original appointment time because he had a cancellation and worked us in. That was great so that we didn't have a lot more water to clean up. He got right to work, fixed the problem and cleaned things up. I was able to go back to work in the house and he called me when he was done so I didn't have to worry about him coming in the house and getting the dogs riled up. It was a very easy service from start to finish.

Want to recognize Randy for the professional and thorough way he helped me identify my plumbing problem and provided various options for solving the situation. I was also pleased that he showed up when he said he would, and left our premises completed cleaned up. Randy would always be welcome at our home for whatever plumbing problem we might have. Thanks again Randy!
