When my hot water heater broke I called a few plumbers to see who could come out most quickly. It was already after-hours when I left messages, but Matt at Arroyo called me back after dinner. Early the next morning he called to confirm a tech could arrive at 9:30am. The plumber sent to our house did a fine job, was courteous (and wore a mask for Covid the whole time), and left no mess behind. I thought the price for the work was at the high end of fair but, hey-- before the cheaper guys even called me back, Arroyo had the job complete.

Reviewing my Records for 2020, I came across two issues with this Company that should paint the picture:
1). I paid $155 to incorrectly replace the Valve and Flapper on a Toilet, a repair that was later re-done by another Vender for less than half the price.

2). On another repair, a $200 quote ended up being $650, as the price seemed to escalate until I objected (my brother was in a medical crisis at the moment of negotiation, so my priorities and attention was elsewhere).

These prices were negotiated by the ""Manager"" sent onsite to evaluate the work that needed to be done. In both cases, I overpaid significantly for the work that was performed, and in the first case, the work was substandard.

No need to complain to the Company- the Education I received to Vet venders before using them was worth the overpay.

It was our first week in a newly flipped house and after doing laundry our toilets suddenly wouldn't flush! I contacted Matt in a panic on a Friday evening and he listened, identified the likely problem and sent someone over right away. After the initial problem was resolved that night, Matt contacted me again the next weekday to come out and inspect further. The work needed on my end was minimal and he completed it sooner than expected. He also gave me great instructions for what needed to happen next with the city. He was such a great help - and he eased my panic! He was so proactive and responsive and he even text me pictures of the work that was done! Finding a great plumber is important - I highly recommend Arroyo plumbing!!

Arroyo was recommended to me by another plumber if you can believe it. Justin was the supervisor in charge of replacing my water main. I'll leave out all the details but basically he gave an estimate and stuck to it even though we had a few small changes. He didn't nickel and dime me like some others may have done. The job was done very well as far as I can tell.

Have used this company multiple times, when we have an emergency plumbing problem we can not resolve ourselves, and need someone ASAP. They are always accommodating and responsive to our last minute urgent requests, and do they do their best to get out to us the same day. Great company that is reliable with fair pricing.

They really came through for me!
Neighbors on NextDoor kept recommending Arroyo, so I called them at ~1 for a backed up toilet.
At first they said the plumber will be here between 4-5, but when I called at 5 to inquire said he would come later, they were not sure when, but he would most definitely be there at my place that day.
At 7:45 I gave up hope and left a disappointed voicemail, and I was so pleasantly surprised that at 8:15 the plumber did arrive!
It took him about an hour to get the job done, and I appreciated it so much that he's working that late.

The reason I deduct a star is that I was charged $145, and on reviews posted a year ago I see they charged $125. I feel that's a rather steep increase, but to be honest, I don't know what the going rate for plumbers is.

I had a leaky pipe going from my kitchen sink to the sewer and it was causing all kinds of problems. They were able to come out and evaluate it, and then fixed it that day! I'm super happy. They're still professional and personable.

We have used Arroyo Plumbing to clear our lines about every two years. I try to be proactive with it but this year - we had a back up that needed clearing just a few days prior to Thanksgiving. I was given a window of 9-11 tomorrow but I they called at 2pm today saying they are in the area. Wonderful - it was perfect timing. They cleared the bathroom / kitchen drains, found a leak under the kitchen sink and fixed it - all for the original estimate.
I'm so thankful Arroyo Plumbing is so trustworthy, responsive and professional. I'm also very happy this didn't happen on Thanksgiving morning!

My wife and I contacted Matt at Arroyo Plumbing to inspect/repair/replace a leaking kitchen faucet. We were referred to Arroyo by one of my wife's coworkers who was very happy with them. Our experience was excellent. Called Matt on Tuesday and he scheduled someone to come out the following morning between 9am and 10am. Matt contacted me at 9am sharp and told me that the tech, Arnold, had arrived. I really appreciated that because it was less time that I had to take off work.

Arnold took a look at the faucet and recommending replacing it rather than repairing. He provided me a reasonable quote up front and then went to work. He was friendly, professional and expedient. He was in and out in less than an hour. We were very pleased with Arroyo and highly recommend their services.

Highly recommended. Matt's team did a hard and quick job on my kitchen line that has rusted metal pipes in the crawspace. They replaced the metal ones with ABS pipes within half a day, and with fairly good price tag, compared to two other contractors. No leak at all, checked a few days later. Pipes are well laid out and suspended to the floor. The connectors are in good shapes. I am keeping his number for future use.
