We began in the water well drilling and repair industry in 1945. During the 1950s, we shifted our focus to plumbing installation and repair. In the 1960s, we broadened our services to include heating and air conditioning installation and repair. As a family-owned business for three generations, we proudly serve San Antonio and its surrounding areas.
My name is Jim Moos, and I represent the third generation of Arnold Moos Company. I began my journey here in 1982, working with the installation teams for heating and air conditioning. I advanced to a service technician role, then transitioned to dispatch, and finally took on the role of general manager.

I needed work done on bathtub water diversion from tub to shower because guests were coming and would use the guest tub. The guests did not come so I did not use this tub for several months. When I tried to use it, there was no hot water! I called Moos again . They sent a technician who found that the original plumber, who signed his receipt as Jim M., had not opened the valve to allow the hot water to run into the tub or shower. Since more than 90 days had passed his careless stupidity cost me $94.00 dollars!
Morale: check everything before the workman leaves, particularly if it is from Moos.
On a previous occasion a younger workman (Carlo) cut into ceramic tile in my bathroom rather extensively, leaving everything in there, even what was in cabinets, covered in glass-dust. He did not shield anything or warn me to do so.

We have used Arnold Moos for 4 years now for both air conditioning issues and plumbing issues. We have an older home, and they have worked hard to keep the older a/c working longer than expected. They come quickly when called and do great work, even after hours. And they leave the job site really clean. We will use them whenever we need a repair.

Made an appointment yesterday for 1PM today. As of 1:45, no one's shown up, no one's bothered to let me know when repairman will be showing up, etc. yes, traffic happens, but in this day and age not informing a customer of this kind of delay is inexcusable.
