They're the worst people ever they left me with a mound of dirt and a hole in the wall and a fine from the city of Detroit because they didn't want to go get a permit for the job and they never finished the job they were supposed to be doing I would never recommend them to anyone not even to do a burial of a stray dog

terrible experience ripped me off and charged me almost double the price of the repair! lied to me about the work performed b we completed the job I contracted them to do which was a pipe replacement and dig allowed them 3 times to fix the problem and they missed everything! cheated me out of 6500 then I had to pay another 5k to repair the work they were contracted to do horrible customer service and the owners never even bothered to contact, compensate or even return a phone call. Lisa the receptionist is very unprofessional and the site supervisor is most as incompetent as he was on site and kissed the same pipe 3 times! buyer be ware would not recommend them to fix a sand castle!

Armstrong plumbing came out to fix a busted sewer pipe. The job took much longer than projected, however, they worked hard and go the job done. I would highly recommend them.
I appreciate the professionalism they brought to the job. They cleaned up after themselves and I think they went above and beyond to do the job correctly and get it done.
I would trust them to help with any plumbing/sewage problem.

The crew is awesome! I first got 4 estimates from different sewage companies. Armstrong quoted me the best rate. And although they had unexpected difficulties they managed to stick with the original estimate.
It took an extra 2 days, because of the circumstances involved and extreme sewage back-up. They rebuilt the sewage drain (with the white PVC piping) from the house to the main city sewage drain.
The crew had to use a smaller bulldozer than they had planned because the backyard was so small and they had to enter through a neighbor's property since the entrance to my backyard was too narrow. They did what was needed to get the job done perfectly!!!
They found a problem with the water drainage pipe from the kitchen sink, even though this wasn't part of the original estimate they snaked out that drain and replaced any worned piping. This would have caused a problem in the future in which I would need to have the main drain snaked out. This was performed with no additional charge. This was a preventative measure I'm sure many companies would not have done for FREE.
Armstong Plumbing and Sewer Service went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. And the crew was kind considerate helpful and very pleasant. I am passing the word that this company is the one to solve all your plumbing needs.
Armstrong Plumbing and Sewer Service is highly reccommened if you want the job done right! I'm telling everyone that I know they're the BEST!

Con man, takes advantage of the elderly. Charged $3,500 replace waste line from house to sewer, lifetime warranty (their words), first heavy rain water backed up in home (4"" of waste waster), called them back out and they said it was something else and wanted $3,200 more. When they open the virgin ground it was obvious that they shorted the job by 16' and never connected the original repair to the city sewer. They also did the work without a permit. Very shady, do not do business with Rich or Layla.
I would post zero stars if it was possible.

Totally useless. Called at 3:30 pm on a Friday saying my sump pump was not working and my basement was flooding. We believed it was under warranty (they installed it previously.) A tech showed up at 6:00 pm, shook the pump, said ""yeah, it is broken"", removed the pump, and left. He said he would be back the next morning with a replacement. Who leaves a flooding house for 14+ hours without putting in a replacement or temporary pump?? We ended up buying a new one and installing it ourselves. When they didn't show up the next morning, we had to call to find out our pump wasn't under warranty anymore. Do not waste your time.

Do not call for plumbing issues.

We called them in the am of 4/1/2019, came out around noon. Did some snake out in our toilet in the bathroom. Then went down stairs and said that he had to snake out our main. Then he said that he had to get a larger snake. Once he was done snaking the main, then said that he needed to put in a new toilet ring. He charged us 150.00 for a improper snake out and wanted to charge us 225.00 more for removal of toilet and new ring. At this point we stopped him and said he was done. Paid him his 150.00. This was after the plumber was here for over two hours. Asking my husband all kinds of questions like where did he think the plug was etc. We got ahold of our plumber, All Nite Plumbing, that we have used for over twenty years. When they came out, found out he never even got rid of plug or even properly snaked out the drain. They did the proper job of unplugging our toilet and putting a ring on the toilet and snaking out the drain. They were in and out in around 30 minutes. They checked and double checked their work, which is guaranteed. Armstrong does not guarantee their work.

Had a backed up drain on a Saturday night. Super cool guy came out and fixed it quickly for a good price. He took the time to tell me where the problem was. He even entertained my kids' questions. Great service!

Armstrong Plumbing redid out sewer piping from the house to the street sewer in 2016. There were many issues with the job after completion. It took many phone calls and six months for them to come and put more asphalt down in the cut. Most frustrating is that they never closed out the building permit with the city of Waterford and now we can get NO RESPONSE from them despite repeated phone calls over the past 4 months. We are at wits end since there is no way for us to reconcile this unless Armstrong closes their own permit. Do NOT use this business - the price may seem good at first but the headaches are not worth it.
