First of all I am a senior citizen and disabled confined to a wheelchair and the plumber came at night because of none of my drains are working. He told me I had a major problem under the house in the crawlspace and it was going to be $2000 he told me that he would be back in the morning at 9:30 AM I gave him a deposit and he didn't show up until 145 in the afternoon. At that time he ran a snake through the clean out in the front of the house and told me that it was not supposed to wiggle like it did. Not knowing how much wiggle I was supposed to have it then put the snake in the drain and everything work realistically about a 30 minute job. Said that the cleanout was going to be in additional $800 and to make the check out to him personally today. Then I start to get suspicious and discovered he was cashing the checks in the check cashing facility. I called the management and they sounded surprised and said they had problems with this Plumber in the past. They said they would look into it. He called me back looking for his additional $800 which I didn't have at the time and threatened me that if I didn't have it by noon the next day he would call me. To make a long story short all I needed was a snake in the front drain probably should've only cost me $300 please guys are the biggest rip off's I've ever seen you do not use them.!! The same Plumber still works there and everybody then looked into it and told me he didn't do anything wrong terrible terrible customer service!!

Came out the first time and said I was all set... Less than 30 days later had an issue and they
1. Charged me again, no warranty
2. ""found nothing"" even though water was not flowing
3. The amount they charged to my card was higher than the receipt
4. Sent in the camera the next day ""free"" (even though at this point I've paid them $350) and could not see... because of the blockage!!

All in all I spent $350 for no result. I called another company, not only did they fix the issue, they showed me a real ""Pitch"" issue in the pipe -- which was installed by Armstrong Plumbing. Yeah, Thousands of dollars for replacing the main line for my house done incorrectly. Thanks Armstrong!

Oh and ps: The company that fixed the issue charges 66% LESS than you do. You might be at the end of my street but you will never see me again.

Came out within an hour for an emergency on a Sunday afternoon. Plumber was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, located source of problem quickly and fixed. Did not try to push any additional services. Price for Sunday emergency visit was reasonable. Will call again if I am ever in need.

All around good service. Plumber was very polite and knowledgeable. They gave me a free estimate and setup an appointment to preform the job of fixing my sewer the next day. Job was done in a timely manner and i can finally flush my toilets again!

They were able to come out here Saturday afternoon when I called them Saturday morning. Service was quick. I had a toilet flange rocking so they put a metal skirt around it that did not hold but they did come back out here the next day and warrantied their work and parts so overall I'm happy with the service and would use them again, especially when I need something done quickly.

Armstrong Plumbing actually has an ""A PLUS"" rating with the Better Business Bureau. The highest rating possible. Check it out for yourself.
Armstrong does all the work in the 150 unit condo complex that I live in and I have had them to my condo twice in the past. They are very honest, do a good job, are very reputable, and have reasonable rates. I would recommend them. :)

On a Wednesday (about 10:00 AM) I called Armstrong Plumbing and Sewer to set up a service appointment to have a leaking cold-water faucet in my tub repaired. I tried to remove (2) stems from the hot and cold water faucets when one broke, and the other could not be removed. Locked in! An appointment was set for after 3:00 PM. When the plumber arrived, he asked if I would consider a one-handle faucet instead of the two that I had. He had to redo the plumbing behind the wall anyway, so I agreed. He went back to the office to get the necessary parts. Returning, at 4:30 PM, he proceeded to replace the plumbing necessary to place the one-handle faucet. Prior to him leaving (about 6:00 PM) he stated he had a sewer backup to go to next. We turned on the water supply to the tub, and it appeared to have no leaks. As he was leaving the driveway, I turned on the router to the shower, and checking the den (where the access was) I noticed water spurting all over the opening. I immediately shut off the shower routing, and called Armstrong. The receptionist called the plumber and he immediately returned. When he was looking at the plumbing, he asked me to turn the shower on. He yelled, ""Turn it off!"" He discovered a leak (large pin-hole) in the area of the piping that did not leak before the reassembly. I suggested that he leave it alone, that I would not take a shower that night, and he could go to the sewer backup. He agreed, and stated that he arrives at work around 9:00, and he should be back here by 10:00 the next morning. He hadn't arrived by 11:30, so I called the offices to have the appointment changed to after 3:00 because I had a doctor's appointment. The receptionist said she would let the plumber know, and he would call before arriving. No plumber or courtesy call by 5:45 PM, so I called Armstrong again. I left a message on their answering machine stating the plumber did not arrive or leave a courtesy call. I called Armstrong the next morning about 9:00. I was assured he would be there by 10:00 AM. I called again before noon to see where he was. The receptionist said he was loaded down with calls and it would be after 3:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, the plumber still did not arrive, or leave a courtesy call. My daughter (a strong advocate of consumers' rights) contacted Armstrong after 9 calls. After a much heated conversation with the receptionist (who claimed to be the owner of Armstrong Plumbing and Sewer) the receptionist hung up on my daughter. About 30-45 minutes later a different plumber arrived to fix the problem. He worked on it from 45 to 60 minutes before the leak was fixed. So, after four no-shows for appointments and no courtesy calls to explain why the plumber did not show up, the leak was finally fixed. I do not recommend this company for doing any service.
