What a joke.
I had a problem with my SubZero freezer not making ice correctly. I did a quick search, found Arlington Sub Zero Repair and called them. Turns out they're probably just a front for a dozen different brand repair shops. They flipped me to Darius who came out, spent 15 seconds listening to the problem my wife described, and then said it'd be $375 to fix. I was out of town and my wife and I decided to go for it. The ""fix"" took less than 15 minutes and he replaced a part that sells online for less than $30 - I wish I could charge that kind of premium for my time! Note that whatever company you get Darius through, he's going to want a check made out directly to him - somewhat shady.
If that was the end of it, this would be a 3-4 star review of ""expensive, but it works..."" But you might notice this is a 1 star review.
A few weeks after the ""fix"" the ice maker stopped working. I contacted Darius, he asked for photos of the ice which was weird but whatever. He said he needed to order a new part and he'd have it early December. We set up an appointment. I was again out of town, but my wife was here to meet him. He never showed up. He called me 46 minutes later and I wasn't able to answer. My wife called him a few minutes after though and he claimed he tried to call us and we never answered so he didn't come - total BS because he called well after the appointment was supposed to start, and at no point did we discuss ""I'll call you before the appointment, if you don't answer, I'm not coming"". And worse, even though my wife called a few minutes after he called me, he claimed he was already in a different town and couldn't come.
After that, he went radio silent - he refuses to acknowledge my attempts to contact him.
So here's my advice - if you call an appliance company and they say they're going to send someone to you, and it turns out to be Darius - cut your losses, tell him ""thanks but no thanks"" and find someone that isn't a swindler out to rake you over the coals charging high-end-lawyer type hourly rates and billing excessive prices for cheap parts that won't actually fix your problem. It's just not worth the headache.
Bryan O.Do not use this company absolutely the worst I've ever dealt with. There five mins and recommended replacing the most expensive part on the dishwasher, that they just happen to have with them, $765. The cost was also misleading on the cost and didn't remove the cost of the service call. Then the repair didn't fix it and they refused to fix it without another outrageous expensive part. So, buy a new dishwasher. Believe, don't use this guys.
I have used this company 3 times. I've had excellent experience with them.
Service techs are highly knowledgeable and punctual. Their prices are fair and they make sure you make an informed decision, advantages to you if you authorize the repair
Thanks for fixing my dryer. There hasn't been any malfunctioning for more than a month.
I will not recommend this company to any one. I paid this company$403 dollars to repair my range. It has been almost two months since I made the payment to the company and my range never repaired. I have been contacting the technician of the company multiple times to resolve the issue. Finally today the technician of the company asked me to make additional payment in the amount of $285 if I want the issue to be to resolved. My range was showing error code F11 before the tech came to do diagnosis and today is showing the same error code F11. The company never repaired my range this is just a scum! This company does not even deserve one star! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
Repair not completed guy came to my house looked at my oven took board from oven to order new one charged us $50 (which woes advertised free)and called next day ""part not available"" and never returned our old part. Beware of this business. DON'T EVER USE THEM.
After checking this address this is condo NOT A BUSINESS.
John R.Terrible service. Repair not completed properly. No resolution to fixing continued problem.Way too expensive. Requires $50 to show up. One star is too many.
Somewhat bewildering experience but problem solved. Called ""Washer Repair Alexandria"" and the technician that came was Darius Arod from ""Arlington Appliance Services"" 571-505-4967. He asked what was wrong and just based on my description he wrote up a bill for $275 and said he needed to get a part out of his car - all with only seeing the washer from a distance, no diagnostic/checking of my amateur evaluation...replaced the pump in 15 minutes and was gone. Part was about market price, if new. Labor costs were on the high end for a repair, certainly high for a 15 minute repair. But problem appears solved, kudos to him for being quick, but bad marks for customer service for not explaining himself in an industry that is fundamentally about building trust.
person came looked at the fridge in 2 mins, said it would be really expensive to fix and when I said it was too expensive, said, ok, it'll be 50 dollars. for the 2 mins of looking at the fridge.
This guy also goes by ""Arlington Appliance Services"",
beware of this business.
Service was awful. Guy who came out to check my fridge did not seem to know what he was doing. His quote for the service was also expensive, he said the fee included his services, the Google fee, the fee for the girl who answers the phone and gas. My husband and I thought it was way too much. We still payed the $50 diagnosis fee which was annoying because the guy was only here for 5 mins.
