I scheduled an appointment with Arctic for today with the electrician scheduled to arrive between 8 and 12. I called them at 10:30 this morning and confirmed that they would notify me before they arrived so that I would be on the lookout for them. Shortly after 12 I called again to get an update on their arrival time but instead was told that the electrician had car trouble and couldn't make it but that they were willing to reschedule to tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, they couldn't give me a guaranteed arrival time but they told me that it would be early.

The fact that I had to call to check to see if they were still coming was problematic AND their not notifying me sooner about expected delays is unacceptable was well as unprofessional. I would never use them again.

I paid $400 for Arctic's emergency electrician to come over, poke around, and tell me to call someone else.

Fast forward, my normal contractor fixes the faulty outlet within 2 hours - and here's the kicker, the issue in the wiring was exactly where I said it was.

Complete waste of $400.

Had a plumber come out from this company through Beltway Builders. Came to diagnosis and repair a leaking pipe. The guy was nice, friendly, the process when smoothly, he replaced a rusted pipe, with the newer material they use. He was there about an hour or a bit shorter. For this service, I paid almost close to $400. I was really shocked and was not expecting to put out this much with this sudden problem. He asked if I was okay with the price, and I said yes, only because I wanted to get it done and no longer deal with this problem.

Two days later, I had another contractor come over--which I should've just did in the first place. He was going to patch up the drywall from where the pipe was and had been replaced by Artic just a couple days prior. As he was going to get started, he felt a puddle of water on the drywall--indicating the there was still a leak coming from elsewhere. As should've been done by Artic, this contractor diagnosis the real cause of the leak, which was misdiagnosed by Artic--therefore, not really fixing the problem. Therefore me putting out almost $400 for service that was not done properly. Then putting out more for the job to be done right by the other contractor. Because I did not want to wait and have to dispute with the company, I just had the other contractor fix it and do it the right way. Really upset because unnecessary money I spent on something that wasn't done correctly, then more on top of that to pay someone else to do it right :-/. You live and you learn.

I was lucky enough to pick Arctic out of a sea of choices. We had been without heat for several days after BGE and my warranted service could not figure out my electrical problem. Go figure.
Kameron was my service tech with Arctic and took care of the install of breaker and wiring to our heater that got us back up and running again.
He was pleasant with my wife when I could not be there and explained every step he was doing, easy to understand.
Electricians are never a cheap way to go, but when your dealing with your breaker panel and wires inside your walls, it's a no brained for me.
Arctic and Kameron took care of our issues in 2 visits but about as painless as possible given the failed attempts of 2 prior services, 1 listed above.
I highly recommend Arctic.

The technician came late and drunk. I should have thrown him out but I needed my unit fixed. The price they quoted was too high so I decided not to use them. The technician took the battery out of my unit leaving it inoperable. Never use these guys.

According to them, everyone is lying. The fact is they are crooks. They dont even dispute that the technician intentionally broke the unit. She then makes up a lie that I didnt want to pay the other vendor which is simply not true. You have been warned. Run from these guys.

I at first had a major water leak. I got fast reliable service. I was so impressed with the job that I had Beltway Builders come in and remove a toilet so that they could repair wall and floor before Artic came back and reinstalled the toilet and then readjusted my septic main. I cannot give even more stars for the treatment I have receiveds from these sister companies.

Run from these guys. I had them do a diagnostic. I decided not to use them because they were way too high. The technician who came from another company pointed out that they had lied about the problem and had intentionally damaged my unit. Run from these guys do not use them.

The reply from the owner of the company is patently false.

You have been warned!!!! Use these guys at your own risk. For the record, the other company fixed the problem for $482.....

My sump pump went on the fritz around 7:00 pm 3/28. Charles Graves of Arctic Plumbing was the only after hour responder I could get and he came out and replaced my sump pump which fixed my problem. He was kind, courteous, informative, and even followed up this morning 3/29 to see if everything was alright. Very hands-on and I would recommend them. Kudos Charles Graves.

DO NOT RECOMMENDED-OTHER COMPANIES OUT THERE ARE HONEST FOR LESS $ They sent a PAST DUE Invoice over 6 months later after, we told them never mind-They never did any work. They were quick to schedule an initial diagnostic visit and provide an estimate. Charged $100.00 just to show up and tell us the compressor was bad and provide a $1900.00 estimate.
2nd opinion from another company who actually looked up the bad compressor and let us know it was still covered under warranty: They only charged 400.00 Labor to install NOT $1900.00...
NO OPINION ON THEIR WORK PERFORMANCE
