I'm sad to say this but from what I seen on one such day, this company allows it's employees to act any sort of way towards the public right down to disrespecting and threatening the life of a citizen well speaking with the police anf there explaining the man was ok well he was completely dressed down in the company attire as well as driving a company vehicle! I was unfortunately a witness to this employee actions that day in the DMV complaining and calling the cops on a auditor of whom was checking in on our government employees to make sure our tax Dollars aren't being used for employees who don't respect and care for our citizens let alone our God given rights as a legal tax payers of this country we keep them doors open and then bills paid we employee everyone of them public servants! Our money is also what keeps these businesses open and functioning so I say if they don't like and respect our rights then they don't deserve our hard earned money or our much needed business! Then we the ppl will get the respect we deserve! This country was built on the backs of all of us tax payers never let another person act as your oppressiore! Do better and act accordingly! This is our right to hold them accountable and complain until change is made!
We called ARC to replace an inoperative condensate pump on our boiler. When I called, I told them that it was not an emergency (we have a bucket and could catch the leaking water). They had had a cancellation and scheduled us in for the next morning. They arrived within 5 minutes of the promised time, had the correct pump with them, replaced the pump, and were on their way. We have used ARC several times for our heating system with no complaints.
Terrible tech with diluted views of the world. He was rude, confrontation, and aggressive. They have bad reviews on Google maps too. Would avoid this contractor all together
They seem very professional, but operate more like a scam. They were quick to respond and send someone for a quote. They were friendly and easy to work with. However, as soon as I put down a 50% deposit, they dropped off the face of the earth. No one will return phone calls or emails though it's been over a month. Andy, the owner, personally spoke with me and promised the work would be done this week - well, no one arrived and now he won't return phone calls either. I wouldn't trust these scam artists with another dime of my money and you shouldn't either unless they've already completed the work.
Update: Spoke with the owner again. Instead of taking responsibility for his words and actions, he screamed at me over the phone about how much stress he's under and how much work they have and how behind their company is. I managed to finally get my money back but I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for professional work.
ARC originally installed a Fujitsu mini-split system more than a year ago and, for the most part it has performed well. A few months ago, I had some siding done on the house and the last day at my house, one of the contractors put a sheet-rock screw through the power lead to one of the mini-splits.
Unfortunately, it rendered all of the mini-splits inactive and I called ARC to fix. I was the one who discovered the screw through the wire so I told them what was, at least, the initial problem. ARC told me that I needed a licensed electrician to fix the power lead even though their installation tech (who's not an electrician) wired it in over a year ago. So I had to fix the wire before they'd even come out to my house.
After I fixed the wire, they arrived late on a Friday when I wasn't even home and did some trouble-shooting. An hour and a half later they came to the conclusion that there were 3 blown fuses and left.
2-weeks and a couple of my phone calls later, they finally received the fuses and came back to my house to install them. My siding people also left some of the ""line-hide"" duct work off and ARC's guys attempted to put it back together. Two hours later, they finally gave up and said that the ""wire-hide"" had been modified and I might need some new pieces.
So after 3.5 hours of labor I had a working AC but the ""line-hide"" duct-work, remains unfinished. ARC also charged me $24 for a truck-charge. Would this have been waived if they didn't bring their truck? To add insult to injury, the water heater that ARC installed at the same time as the AC system starting leaking around a ""crimp"" fitting. Apparently soldering is passe! Obviously they are choosing not fix the water heater under warranty either!
I realize that a lot of this problem was not ARC's fault but what they did after the fact pisses me off. Can't fix a wire with a screw in it? Hour and half to find 3 blown fuses? 2-weeks to get these (highly specialized) fuses? 2 hours to figure out that the ""line-hide"" had been modified? How about some good will because the water heater is leaking through one of their lousy crimp fittings? Lastly, the service manager Scott, took two weeks to get back me and tell me ""It is what it is"". I'm paying the bill ($384) but they'll get no recommendation from me!
