Everything about this business is professional, helpful, and friendly. Kirsten's phone calls were efficient, but more than that they were warm and reassuring -- We needed advice about a flooding situation under our kitchen cabinets .. we were hoping that Danny could just replace the supports and repair the damaged materials. He carefully assessed the damages and suggested that the job probably called for extensive remodeling -- and that we should consult a cabinet maker. We were disappointed because we sensed right away that Danny was a person we would trust to do the job! We will most definitely contact ARC services again for jobs when they pop up -- which they seem to do frequently --. A great asset for the Carpinteria community!

I recently moved into an oven. To take the edge off the heat, I reached out to ARC for help with applying window tinting to three windows in my vaulted ceiling living room. I couldn't imagine how to get the films up a ladder, onto a window, and stay out of the ICU. Danny came by, took it all in, developed a system, and set to quiet work. He was patient with me and the chaos of a house in boxes. My cat even liked him. My cat doesn't like anyone.
There are more things that will need some work - I'll be using ARC Handyman when the time comes.

Kirsten was incredibly helpful with our last minute issue. She was so incredibly kind and caring on the phone. She wasn't sure she could fit us in (it was the end of the day) but called back and said Danny could be there ASAP. It was really incredible she remembered and made the call. The work was 1st class & Danny is the real deal. You can trust that the job will be done right the first time. I doubt you could find a job that he couldn't handle. Worst service; worst attitude. I own 4 separate businesses myself and worked for an international corporation and can not recommend ARC to anyone. Kirsten Lieder is rude to put it mildly. There are far more hard-working, respectful and people oriented businesses in Carpinteria that deserve patronage.

I called ARC to come to my work for some maintenance on some office lights located on very high ceilings and some heavy furniture rearranging. My review is of Danny himself. My girlfriend and I were moving out of a home on the Mesa with a very steep driveway. Our uhaul hitch got stuck in the asphalt as we backed down and reached the street. We tried everything we could to get traction but the tires just spun and burned. Danny was working down the street when I asked for his help. He stopped his job and helped us! Danny used a massive jack to lift the uhaul enough to dislodge it. I spaced and left the uhaul in reverse so when it got loose it barreled towards a parked car. Danny jumped in the driver seat and slammed on the emergency brake saving my girlfriend from getting crushed. After thanking Danny for his help I tried to pay him but he wouldn't accept. He instead gave me his card and asked me to review him on yelp. We just bought a house and we will be using Danny for any work we need from now on.

We had Danny come and repair a set of pocket doors that had gone off their track. He ended up having to make some alterations because they weren't installed correctly in the first place. Now they work better than when they were new, and he was thorough enough to locate a large staple that was scratching the doors (we hadn't even noticed that this was happening).

Thorough, professional and on-time...we will defintely be using Danny again!
