I called for a broken pipe at the water meter. They were quick to respond and arrived in about an hour. I called for a plumber and they sent a salesman in a plumbers uniform. The broken pipe was completely exposed and required no digging. Rather than putting a price together he started trying to sale a replacement in line pressure regulator. (nothing wrong with the existing one) Came up with a quote between 595.00 and 795.00 to fix something that was not broken. Had my wife tell him thanks but no thanks. I left work and went home, made a quick inspection, ran to the hardware store and spent $12.47 on materials. Had the repair complete in an hour. This was something I would have paid 300.00 to have done, but these people are blinded by greed. From glancing at these reviews, they have lost sight of how to build a customer base for life. My advice to anyone reading this is if you need a plumber call someone else.

Still waiting for a part that was ordered on Dec 6, told it would be a few days. Called back the following week and was told it would be 3 to 5 days. Called back today and was told they don't know when the part will arrive.

This company is replacement services only. We just got ripped by technician. Unit was working just fine the day before and I called in that we were receiving a error code on our nest stating no power. Technician comes in and states that coil may have leak and just to replace because cost would be around 3500 and that come 2020, they wouldn't be able to service units that use Freon. We would be better off getting a new unit. Then states that we would have to replace both units because they wouldn't be compatible if one is non Freon and the other is. Both ac units are separate lines. One unit is for upstairs and one unit for downstairs. He also failed to say that companies would be able to fill Freon units with recycled Freon and/or our current unit could be retrofitted. Then proceeds to have us qualify for the advantage program and tries to sells us 2 AC units at 24,000. What a ripoff! I looked up the unit he was quoting and the price is doubled through Armendia. Ended up filling our units with 8lbs of freon. Unit started working but he said he didn't know for how long. So pissed right now!

So. The people on the phone were helpful. I will say that. The service technicians were a completely different story from the second I opened my door. They did NOT introduce themselves. Did not say one single word to me when I opened the door. I am a woman. Just stared at me with a sort of expression that said "well why are we here.." didnt speak even after I said "hello, let me show you where the piping is.." just followed me to the back. Looked at our piping. Informed me that "yea thats the incorrect piping. (In reference to our propane lines) You're going to need a whole new line and that is going to be expensive. Made a phone call to their boss.. heard the technician telling him "yea we're over here across from Dominion. Its all rock we have to dig through. Its 80 feet from the house." Then wrote some stuff down and said "its going to be about $9000 to do the job.." ha. So i asked "what if we move the tank closer..?" To which he replied no we cant do that. It has to be 80 feet away from the house.." which I found out was a LIE. Scammers. Tryin to get money out of us. So frustrating. I do NOT recommend this company. Very rude people.

Had them perform annual maintenance and warranty work. Annual maintenance was adequate but didn't seem like either tech did a lot. When I had a major issue, each time I asked the tech he said 4,000 to start. Never said let me see and validated prices. Just gave me blanket prices. Decided to use them because of warranty company and AC was already out and work was sub par. They talked me into changing set up and electric bill went from 250 to 400. Not a fan. Go with someone else.

Aramendia said they wouldn't charge to provide a quote. However, when they arrived, the technician said it would cost $195 to diagnose. What!? The technician then took less than 90 seconds before saying the whole unit needed to be replaced. No thank you.

My A/C stopped working so I called to have it checked out. It was working perfectly fine even during the 100 degree days we were having. The first thing I noticed is that a "salesman" arrived with the technician. But maybe that was standard for them. The technician only asked where the units were located and nothing else. After about fifteen minutes the salesman tells me basically everything was bad. The compressor, fan motor, capacitor, evaporator coil leak, and low on refrigerant. He stated that because the system used the old R22 freon the cost would not warrant fixing it and that I should just replace the system.

Hmm. Let me see. One day the system is fine and the next most everything is bad. What are the odds.

Second Opinion Time.

I called in another company and they stated that the capacitor is bad. The fan motor was using more electricity than it should but still worked. The compressor had overheated but he used the hose to cool it down in 5 minutes and it started working. This company did everything in front of me and showed me all the readings. Aramendia showed me nothing. I got some system replacement quotes (lower tan Aramendia's) from him and he left without repairing anything.

The next day I bought a capacitor for $70 and replaced it in 10 minutes. I overly stressed the system the rest of the 100+ degree day and my daughter asked for a blanket. It has been running perfectly fine for 4 days now for a system that needed to be replaced.

I had used Aramendia before but it looks like Aramendia has become a system replacement company and not a system repair company.

My family is visiting and we experienced air conditioning issues in the middle of the night. Kenneth and team were timely in dispatching, solving the problem, and going above and beyond for me. I can't thank you all enough. You all are always professional and advocates for the customer. I highly recommend their service because I never had an issue getting service on weekends or weekdays. Other companies are only available during the week, don't return voicemails, or hang up on the middle of the night emergency calls. This is why I am loyal to this team.

Will never call this company again!

Got a quote for a leaky toilet for $500.00 dollars, if he had to remove the toilet to put a wax ring, will cost me $600 dollars. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous, found a local plumber and only paid $60.00 to get the wax ring replaced. Sorry but will never call you again.
