My bathroom shower from upstairs leaked into the downstairs ceiling and into a light fixture. I was scheduled for a 5-7 PM time slot. The men arrived about 15-20 minutes late after the window had lapsed. I explained to them what was going on, They wouldn't even look at the issue at all. They said we have to start this tomorrow. What? Why did they come out then?

I recommend reading this fully before calling Aramedia! I called Aramendia because my air conditioning was freezing up, they sent a technician same day, great; keep in mind, I am a single woman in a nice home. Kenneth recommended unclogging my condensation pipe (which I regularly do, but ok Kenneth) Kenneth came down told me it was unneeded and charged me $155.00; he added if it's the coils the estimated cost will be $1500 after an entire 20 minutes in my home. Long story short, I complained and they promptly sent a tech (Ruben) with a clean cut guy in a polo (Jean) who clearly doesn't climb into attics much; they told me they will make it right. HERE IS WHERE THE SCAM BEGINS AND ITS ALL ON VIDEO, after a full inspection Jean comes in and tells me my A/C system "is a mess"; a coil leak, foam insulation in the coils, outside compressor is going out because its too small for inside unit, etc. Jean shows me cell phone video (fake video) showing proof of the coils leaking with a device that beeps, pictures of the insulation, etc; Jean says repairs will be over $6500 and if I get it repaired he foresees a problem within "two years". If I did not mention, I have this all on my inside camera! It quickly moved into a sales moment with estimates for a new unit, I will share pictures of the estimates in addition to the videos; 25k on the high end and 17k on the low end, with some package costing $311 a month plus tax for 10 years. I did not fall for this scam, because after the first tech left I figured out it was just a DIRTY FILTER!!! Air conditioning is working fine

Let me start out by saying if you are reading this review please move on and find another company to do business with. Aramendia since they were sold they have changed so much and are in the business of fleecing the customer. I had my maintenance check with them on Friday and they finally agreed to replace the compressor that has been going bad for the last 3 years. It is still under warranty which includes parts and labor. We were told that the freon would also have to be replaced and it is not covered under the warranty. I was quoted $175.00 per pound. They came yesterday to do the work and the technician that came this time said the freon would be $180.00 per pound so the price went up $5.00 from Friday. The technicians must set the price since the technicians get paid by commission and not an hourly rate. Needless to say I called the office and spoke with Rob who was suppose to be a boss. He was not very helpful. I told him I looked up what the cost of freon is and asked if they are charging me for labor and I was told they are charging me for disposing of the old freon I said it cost $500.00 to dispose of freon his reply was that it is very expensive to dispose of freon. He tried to tell me I was looking at old rates. I told him to give me credit that I was looking at 2022 rates and the rate was $50.00 to $80.00 that is a big difference from the $175.00 they are charging. Well I got 1 pound free and 15% off I still ended up paying $1000.00 for the freon which is a total rip off. I was stuck using Aramendia due to the warranty.

We called Aramendia Heating & Air as our pilot was not staying lit. We would be able to light it, it would stay on for a while then off. By the time Aramedia came, the pilot would only stay on if we maintained the lighting-pilot button pressed down. Two technicians came to assess the situation, after being briefed, they indicated the whole piping system coming out of the water heater was not up to par and that was a great point to start trouble shooting. I was informed a quote with a list of repairs and upgrades to the pipes would be provided. They asked if the water heater - 18 months old - was installed by a licensed contractor. I indicated that it was, and everything was up to city code. As I question the reasonableness of how all the sudden pipes would prevent the pilot not to stay on, they pressed on the pipes and ducts as the likely culprit. I am no plumber, but I do have common sense. More questioning got me nowhere, they left the home to proceed to prepare their quote outside. When I came out, they said "well, I am not supposed to do this for free, but I will try to light your pilot". Apparently, they hadn't even tried to light the pilot. Getting into the attic with them, and watching him trying to do so, the technician acknowledged that it was probably the Gas Valve Regulator that needed replacement. Armed with this obvious knowledge, the technician gave me a quote for $695.00, not to replace the pipes and ducts (few!) but to replace the regulator. And by the way, he made a point to say the part may be hard to get and would not commit to an estimate. First, $695.00 is a rip off for an hour and a half or so of labor this job takes, second, I wonder how much they would have charged for a $150 or so part, third, if I had not questioned their stupid "pipes and ducts" diagnosis, would I be stuck with thousands of dollars in pipes and ducts upgrades plus additional $695 labor to install the regulator, plus who know how much for the regulator which was obviously what was wrong in the first place?? I end up calling a licensed plumber, indicated the gas regulator had failed, 3 hours later, he came, installed the part, and charged $360.00 all in. Stay away from Aramendia Heating & Air

A technician was sent just hours after I requested a service call. The positive review stops there. He found a leaking expansion tank on a hot water heater. He quoted a replacement plus flushing the tank and installing some sort of device which he claimed would eliminate sediment - all for $1,900. What scammers. I ended up paying $250 to another company for a service call, a replacement tank, and flushing. That technician scoffed at the device to eliminate sediment. I'm done with Aramendia.

My experience was brief but good. I needed a clogged toilet fixed. I called just before 5pm on a Friday and the girl who answered was polite and helpful. She put me on the schedule for the next day, Saturday, and said I'd get a call when they were on the way, likely in the morning.
I received a call today with 45 minutes notice. Two plumbers arrived on time, both masked, and provided me with two quotes, a simple auger (snake) fix of $195 and the second, if they had to pull the toilet for $595. Luckily, it was the simple fix and the problem was solved in no time and they treated the toilet with an acid to help it flush better. The price quoted was the price charged.
Again, a rather simple and quick interaction but a positive one.

Woke up this morning to no hot water and a stream of water flowing from our water heater out in the garage. Called Aramedia at 7:30 a.m., and by 9:30 a.m. they had a truck at our house. Our technician Marcos identified a broken flange within the tank and recommended a replacement, which they conveniently carried right on the truck. They carefully explained my options and the pricing for each. Four hours later I have a new, slightly larger and more energy efficient water heater.
Service was incredibly fast and the technicians were very courteous. Could I have gone elsewhere for cheaper? Maybe. The icing on the cake is that Marcos also took a look at my water softener within the same cabinet and noticed it was set to regenerate way too often. We've had some briny water issues, and he identified the cause as water pressure at street level that was higher than what SA code allows; the softener was being bypassed into the house due to valve pressure issues. Without charging us anything extra he replaced the street water intake valve, replaced some valves on the softener, and also placed a water alarm in the cabinet (also free) to identify future water leaks.
I've never experienced such amazing and courteous service from a plumber/AC service before. If we need more repairs in the future I know who I'm calling.

I've called Aramendia plumbing several times for emergent plumbing service. They are not the cheapest but I believe the quality of work and service to be better than other plumbers I've used. When you have a water
Emergency- it is stressful and you need a fast response. Aramendia has been able to effectively dispatch and repair my issues within 6 hours of call the last 3 times I've called them. I will continue to call them first when an emergency arises. Also, all of their plumbers they have sent out are courteous and professional.

We trust Aramenda with our heating, air conditioning and plumbing issues. Today had the sei annual heating air conditioning maintenance checkup. Crystal provided a very good explanation of what she was doing and what she discovered. Very thorough, felt like I understood how each of my air conditioner units were functioning.

My 74 year old mother called for an A/C unit not keeping up with thermostat setting. After initial inspection, determined that she needed a new replacement unit and set up a payment plan for some term. She trusted them that the unit needed replacement. After much coaxing by her son, called another company to check and get a second opinion, the drain was clogged causing the system to shut down. This turned out to be a drain cleaning, thermostat battery replacement and pressure check for around $70 vs a payment plan that would go for 117 months adding up to about $20,000.00 for 1 unit replacement. This is just not an ethical group trying over charge a lady who lives off of social security installments only. Call if you like being over charged.
