I've used AR Plumbing a few times now. The first time they came out on a weekend and diagnosed a leaking pipe in 5 minutes, and made the repair quickly. The second time they again came out on a weekend (why is it that plumbing emergencies don't happen during business hours?), found the issue and made a temporary fix, and came back on Monday morning to permanently fix it. This time, when I called they told me they couldn't come right away (actually during business hours) so I made an appointment for the next day since it wasn't an emergency. Later today they called and turned out someone was available to come over now. These guys are always thorough, honest, and don't overcharge. So nice to find good plumbers! We are super happy with them and they are now the first call we make anytime something goes wrong in our 1910 house.

AR Plumbing service and response is unmatched. We had to replace the gas line service to our home. PG & E had to shut us off on Wednesday afternoon. I called Adelso at 8 am on Thursday morning, he was at our home at 9 am. We looked at various options, told me what he needed to do and came back with a crew of 4. They dug a 30' trench, installed a new gas line, they were done by 5:30 pm.
Outstanding quality of work as well as very neat.
Never experienced this level of service in Marin.
Other companies couldn't come out for several days ( 52 degrees at night ).

I called at 11:52pm for a burst pipe outside and received a call back in 3 minutes. Adelso didn't hesitate to say he would be right over and arrived within 30 minutes from calling. He capped the burst line (irrigation) and made sure we still had running water inside until it could be fixed, he explained the plan for the proper fix and made an appointment with us for the next morning.
He was courteous, in a good mood especially for being an emergency plumber on a night call, knowledgable, prepared, and very helpful.
His rate is $275 for a call, but he said he would do $175 for us which was very nice of him.

I used to be a part time handyman years back. Now, I am a properties rental manager in Marin. A 10 years old water heater needed a repair service (burner assembly and gas valve replace) Most Services called were eager to replace my water heater rather than repair it and to charge me a fee in order to provide the estimate. A&R Plumbing service, took the time to honor my repair request and were promp, professional and reasonable on their service fee. I did not feel misled or hussled into having to buy and replace my appliance. I would call them again in a heart bit and I will give them all of my plumbing service repairs or replacement when at ""my judgement"" is needed. This is a missed ""honest service oriented"" business approach that is disappearing!

I had a plumbing issue on a Sunday morning during a heavy rain. The company owner graciously came out and easily determined where the problem was. It turned out that it was not the result of the work that they had done. He left without charging me.

I want to highly recommend AR Plumbing for your plumbing needs. Alex, a licensed plumber, was recommended by my contractor cousin, and he was exceptional. He was thorough and very pleasant. He did an excellent job and his price was comparable to other plumbers. I definitely will seek Alex's services in the future.

AR plumbing was recommended so I called one day and they were out the next by 9 AM. They were installing a gas line for the stove. And we're all done with the job by 1:30. They were swift, courteous, and clean. Very reasonable price. I would recommend them.

My business had a bad water leak on the ground but couldn't pinpoint exactly where the water was coming from.
Arnold came by and he torn opened the wall and there was a copper pipe had a hole, gushing out water.
It took him a little longer to finish the job than I expected but that's because he was doing a perfect job thoroughly.
And the price was very reasonable.
I highly recommend him and I'll definitely call him again if I have any other plumbing issue.
