Company Overview

In Arizona, Aqua Vets stands as a veteran-operated firm with offices in both Tucson and Phoenix. We specialize in comprehensive water solutions, handling everything from major commercial undertakings (such as tanks, plumbing, and coatings) to residential projects (like drip system setups, gutters, cisterns, pool pumps, and general plumbing). We take immense pride in our craftsmanship, our clear communication with clients, and the satisfaction of those we serve. By working alongside industry-leading contractors and our clients, we ensure that we meet the highest standards of quality, value, speed, and expectations. We strive to achieve the highest quality of installations for our clients. We work to maintain our business by fostering repeat clients and receiving referrals from happy customers. Our promise is to establish long-term relationships with our clients by going beyond their expectations and building trust through excellent communication and service.

“All tasks will be carried out by a licensed contractor (or subcontractor) or plumber upon request, in accordance with Arizona State Law, as Aqua Vets is not a licensed contractor but is overseen by one.” After my time in the Army and exploring the world for both work and leisure, I aimed to make a positive impact on the environment through rainwater harvesting and to establish a company that offers valuable construction services.

Whatever you do please stay away from Aqua Vets for gutter installation! The business owner is very unprofessional, is full of lies and excuses, and yells at the customer. When the estimator came out to look at the project he seemed to be very informative and wanted to help. The company seemed eager to earn our business to the point that they price matched another company we were going to chose originally. I really wished I had stuck with the other company because it went down hill from here. I had to call this company several times to even get on the books for them to come out and start the project. Once a time was scheduled, they failed to show up. We received an excuse from the Owner stating they were behind on installations due to the inability to get materials. This would have been nice to know before we agreed to starting the project and we could have at least received a phone call letting us know they were having to reschedule to start/do the project. Eventually, after many no shows and excuses, the team showed up to start the project. At this point, we should have cancelled with them and called the other company. Not only did it take them several months to complete the installation when it should have only taken them the maximum of two days, but the installation was done poorly and we had to hire another company to redo the whole thing, plus other companies to fix the damage they caused to our roof, fascia, and stucco. When they came out, they placed the down spouts in the wrong area and when they removed them to place them where they should have originally, they left holes in the walls and refused to fix them. So we had to hire a stucco company to come out and repair the holes and a painter to repaint the areas where the stucco was repaired. In addition, they never got the pitch correct on the gutters and with every rain the water would over flow to the point that we were wondering why we even had the gutters. The Owner kept giving us excused that it was not their installation but that the gutters were full of tree debris. This was untrue because we cleaned them out once a week and even had our trees trimmed to ensure they were away from the house. He also kept trying to sell us gutter guards. Why would we buy gutter guards from him when the original gutter installation wasn't even correct yet? The team had to come out so many times and try and correct the poor installation that they began causing more damage to the fascia and the roof. We have had to have a roof company come out and fix tears on the edge and all of our fascia replaced. We have tried time and time again to speak with the Owner to come up with a solution to all the problems that occurred and we are slapped in the face with excuses, lies, and being yelled at. I am really surprised this company is still around. We even asked him if we could just get part or all of our money back and he can come get the materials he used. He refused. We thought about taking him to court to recover all the money that we were out due to he and his teams poor quality of work but felt it was a waste of time. We just needed to chalk this up to experience and move forward with companies that know what they are doing and care about the customer.

Keaton and teammates did a great job. Prompt and polite. Aqua Vets refurbished our new gutter system and installed underground pipes to the new, large reclaim tanks. After the latest massive rainfall, the tanks settled a bit. They came out during the rain to fix it. Great company

Horrible business man. Unprofessional and Lacks time management. They quoted 2-4 days and took 2 1/2 weeks. His guys showed up at 8 and left by noon instead of starting early before it got too hot. They missed the mark in all areas. The owner was full of excuses and truly lame ones.

I called to get an estimate for gutters and the man who said he did the engineering would have his sales guy call me with in half hour. It is now 3 days later and nothing. I called yesterday and the phone rang but no one answered and no voice mail.

I had a leaking irrigation system. Of the 3 companies I contacted, Shaun and crew were the only ones who were able to respond quickly.

Aqua Vets is fantastic. Shawn was very responsive and price was very good. The job was completed in a timely fashion.
Many months later we had our patio area reroofed. The roofers screwed up the angle of the gutters and threw away some other parts that held the gutters level
We called Shawn and he promptly gave us a price to fix it which we passed on to the roofer. Aqua Vets was again Very responsive and the gutters we fixed.
Last, we were backing our RV into the driveway and the ladder hit the gutter denting it. Again Shawn gave us a quick and reasonable price and it was fixed quickly.
We wish other service companies were as good as Aqua Vets.

Contacted Aqua Vets for new gutter installation. Shawn was quick to give estimate over the phone. He followed up with prompt on site visit to visually inspect project, color selection and answer any questions. After gutter installation, Shawn inspected work that was done and verified that we were satisfied.

I needed gutters. I called several local installers. It would take days to weeks just to get a quote. I eventually called Shawn and Aqua Vets. I was amazed at the respond and professionalism. Shawn was able to give me quote right then and there over the phone using an aerial view of my house. It was a great price. I had him come out to confirm and he was almost dead on. We set a date for install and his guys showed on time and did a perfect installation. The color match recommendation was spot on too. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend Aqua Vets.

We had this business put gutters on our rental house. That process seemed to go ok overall, with a few minor issues on timing to completion and paperwork. I can't rate the work itself yet since I don't know much about quality in this area and it hasn't rained since completion. However, we then asked them to evaluate two water issues at our house. It was not a big job, but I was told he would help me and I also asked for an estimate on a full harvesting system as we might do that in the future. He came out and promised estimates later that day. Subsequently, two full weeks of terrible communication went by and finally he stopped responding to me altogether. The concept of valued customer, customer retention, and customer loyalty are lost here. I value honest and timely communication above just about anything. To string someone along, when you are not willing or interested in completing the work, is terrible. I wasted over two weeks waiting for the estimates and to get scheduled and now have to start over.
