Kenton was in touch with me in a matter of minutes. He was available the very next day. He inspected our pool via cameras and other equipment for about an hour and then proceeded to right a full report with recommendations on who to contact for the needed repairs. I highly recommend Aquaman.
Kenton was very professional, intelligent, thorough and diligent. He truly cares about his work and is very good at what he does. It's nice to find someone who takes pride in their work and knows their craft well.
G. H.Easy and clear communication. Upfront about the costs. Showed up on time. Clearly communicated the service and what could be discovered. Found the leak and fixed with no additional charge. Discount for paying with cash. Technician was professional and friendly. Would recommend to others with no challenges.
LJ G.This business has truly earned its 5-star reviews.
My tenants reported the water in the swimming pool was decreasing at a rapid pace, but stopping at a certain point.
Initially, I didn't want to call a leak detection company because I thought it would be too expensive. So, I called my trusted plumber. Everyone agreed that the water level seemed to stop at the pool filter level. We made our best guess as to where the leak probably was and were about to break the concrete to replace pipes... and it just didn't feel right.
I decided to shell out the money and call Aquaman, largely based on both the reviews and the fact that many leak detection places don't work on swimming pools. Henry came out an spent about 90 minutes meticulously going over every inch of the pool. He found a leak in the pool filter loop system, but on the opposite side of where we had suspected it. He circled the area in chalk and when my plumber came out to fix it, he was amazed at the accuracy!
We were all pretty happy... until the next day when my tenant said the water levels were back down. Henry (who is super nice in addition to being extremely professional) came back out and inspected the pool for another 2 hours and made his best guess about where the problem could be and fixed it. (In hindsight, the mistake we all made was not filling the pool all the way up to give Henry a chance to actually find the leak.)
The next day, I got another message from my tenant saying the water levels had dropped. We were all stumped. Aquaman agreed to send Henry out again. This time, Henry asked us to fill the pool (which had been something that was on my mind already).
Henry wasn't his jovial self initially and I felt bad that he had to come out again because I knew how hard he had worked to find the leak before. In less than 5 minutes, he jumped up and said, ""I found it! I found the leak!"" with an ear-to-ear grin.
He fixed it in 10 minutes and we haven't had any more issues.
This company stands by their work and they won't stop until they successfully do their jobs. I could not ask for more!
David T.I wasn't happy with the service I received. The company didn't perform a pressure test even though I had specifically asked for and paid for one when I hired them. The technician who came simply pointed out some rather obvious areas for patching. I asked again for a pressure test and they refused to do one, saying it probably wasn't necessary. By the time I got the patching done, got through the rainy season and determined that the pool was still leaking and - as I had told them in the first place, a pressure test was needed - they again refused to do it - now because I was past the warranty period.
Admittedly, 9 months had gone by. But in my opinion, it was their refusal all along to do the pressure test that put me in this position. Now I have to start from scratch and pay another company.
I have a relatively large in-ground spa that was losing about an inch of water per day. I called Aquaman on a Friday and they were able to schedule some time to inspect it, and perhaps repair it, on the following Monday. Kenton was the guy who was going to do the work, and he called around mid-morning to say he would be a little early if that worked for us. It did, and he arrived around 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled window. He did what appeared to be a thorough inspection, found the leak at the very bottom of the spa around the piece where water is pulled to supply the spa jets, and was able to fix it within the pre-agreed to price. I was very happy with the service.
Candace E.Had some moisture issues with my house. Wanted to rule out that it wasn't our pool. Called Aquaman Leak Detectors (my pool man's referral), they came out within 48 hours.
Even though it was freezing out, they put on their cold swimming gear and got right in!
After 2 hours, no leak found. Just a little crack in the Jacuzzi that they patched right up!
Very professional and kind service!
10 STARS! AquaMan quoted us a price over the phone and said they would FIND THE LEAK and fix it however if there was a leak in the pipes that would require cutting into our brick decking it would be likely $1-2K - if that was the case they would recommend a couple of folks that we could get quotes from. They showed up on time, were so professional and explained all they were doing! They did a complete inspection including donning a wetsuit and getting into the spa and found 2 small leaks (on in the skimmer - where a majority of leaks are - good to know) and a hairline leak at one of the drains. Both fixed and done with in 1 1/2 hours! Our cost $400. We were quoted by another company $6-7K to fix a leak in our in-ground jacuzzi! The folks that gave the quote barely even looked at our spa and said that there were leaks in the pipes that would require them to cut into our brick decking to find it - LIES!!
George K.I originally made an appointment with someone else. For some reason, I wasn't feeling that fuzzy feeling after making the appointment so I called Aquaman. Not the cheapest but knew how to look for my leaks. Turned out that it wasn't a plumbing leak at all, There was a crack below the skimmer that was just draining the water out of my pool about 1/2 inch per day. They even caulked the crack at no additional charge.
Nice guys and they know their sh**. Thanks Aquaman!!
Mario C.Jeff came out and did a great job finding the leak. I was wasting a crazy amount of water - so this is a service that pays for itself! The process was nice and easy. Emailed him and he was out the next day!
