Terrible experience. I purchased a new kitchen faucet from Lowe's (Apopka) and they sent AquaFi out to do the install this past Monday. The tech came in and was very polite. First thing he did after looking under the kitchen sink, which is part of an island in the middle of the kitchen, was try to upsell me a water softener. I tried to be polite and tell him we weren't interested and he said okay, but kept talking about it. Then he goes under the sink to start the install and I hear """"Uh oh, your shut off valves just came off in my hands."""" He takes a picture for his records and offers to change the shut off valve handles for an additional $90. He then tells me he can't reach the spot to replace the valves because it's recessed behind pipes, further commenting he'll need to cut a 14 x 14 hole in the island wall to reach the pipe. If he doesn't do that, he can turn the water off at the main and install the new faucet. He tells me if they don't replace the shut off knobs, they will notate my account and if I have any leakage, they will not stand by their work and Lowe's will not honor the warranty. I remind him that he broke the parts and his company bear some responsibility. He calls he office manager who repeats almost word for word what the tech told me. We told the tech to do the repair, but shut off the water main and not cut the wall. He reluctantly says okay, but our pool deck is being pressure washed at the same time and we tell him we need to reschedule. He agrees and says the office manager will call me later that day to schedule. No call. Wednesday of the next week the office manager calls to reschedule. She tells me they're not liable and they'll notify Lowe's if I don't do the repair the way they want. I push back and remind her they broke the valve knobs and should be willing to work with me on the price. She says she'll check with the owner. Calls two hours later and says the owner looked at the picture, stating what she and the tech told me. I told her I'll get back with her about scheduling. My next call was to Lowe's. I explained everything to Lowe's who had another one of their plumbing companies on the phone in less than 5 minutes while I was on hold. Lowe's was sending this other plumber out for a free second opinion and he would be at my house in 1 hour (5 pm). Great. He comes to the house, looks at the issue under the sink, and says it's a 5 minute fix. No cutting necessary. Can't do the repair, but will be back tomorrow morning. The second opinion plumber shows up on time. Super nice guy. Gets under the sink and in 5 minutes, he's removed the valve fittings and fully replaced the valves...handles and all. Lowe's authorized the work and picked up the tab. No cutting, no weird angles, no games...just a plumber with experience. He had the faucet on in 10 minutes and then showed us how to care for it, as well as showed us some of the special features. This is how it should have been all along. Called Lowe's later to rave and they also told me that my warranty would have been fine all along, regardless of how I decided to have the repair done! They stand by their contractor's work unconditionally. Beware of AquaFi. I have absolutely no confidence they know what they're doing and question their integrity as a company.

We were connected to AquaFi thru Lowe's to install a water softener. The process went smoothly and we are satisfied with the professionalism of the worker's they sent out to do the detail and the installation. We also had some follow up questions on salty water and lower water pressure, which they quickly sent someone out to address. Would use them again in the future.

HORRIBLE customer service ...BEWARE of RUDE JOE!! Joe yelled at me like a mental patient on the street when I called 2 hours later than our scheduled time. He was unprofessional, hostile, and actually scared me. I would never want him in my home. Joe found it easier to lie for his technician who he said was stuck in traffic than to be honest and professional. To add insult to injury, thirty minutes later I called to follow up then Joe lied and said the technician came by the house and rang the door bell. Joe was it easier to lie than to be professional and reschedule? The technician was polite when he first arrived to repair the plumbing and was paid thousands of dollars ; ) but when a report (including pictures) was given to the owner of a water leak that soiled the carpet padding the company retaliated by not keeping their scheduled appointment to replace the dry wall. Joe called and began yelling, """"We came by your home and called your phone."""" One week later, holes are left in my walls and are causing severe allergy issues. I took off work to have my dry wall complete and waited almost 3 hours while this company decided they would take another job. They collected half of the money so I guess finishing the job wasn't important. Never trust unprofessionals with a professional need. The service was horrible and we still have not been able to confirm a time to complete the job they started. They must not have enough staff to do the job or they wouldn't be yelling at 9AM in the morning. Find someone else. 9-22-15

Was contracted by Lowes to use Aquafi for my hybrid water heater install. Every step of the way this company exceed my expectations and set the gold standard for wonderful customer service. From the initial phone call setting up my appointment the day I purchased the water heater, Aquifi was spectacular. They arrived before the scheduled install time and called to confirm their arrival time. The installer was an expert and answered all of the questions I had. They even called me for a followup survey to make sure everything was good. Five stars!

AquaFi is horrible. They don't value their customers and do not take accountability for their mistakes. We had our AC installed by AquaFi. One year later we asked for them to come and service our AC. Their technicians came, completed the service, and said that everything looked fine. After they were gone for about 30 minutes we noticed that the house was getting warmer and warmer. I called their office and told them this and they said they would send someone back to look at it but they would need to change me for any additional work done. OVER 4 HOURS LATER our house was over 80 degrees inside and they finally returned to tell us that they didn't connect something right when they serviced it. They reconnected whatever they messed up and it started to cool down. I called their office the next day and they said that I STILL had to pay the full amount for the service! Even though usually if a company installs an AC you don't need to pay for the first year of service AND even though they made such a big mistake and left us in the FL heat for so long. Not only that but it is now less than a week later and my AC STILL isn't cooling to the temperature that I set it. Needless to say I'm not calling AquaFi cause I know they can't be trusted, They just want to take your money. What a disappointment.
