I Had a water softener put in( Pentair with a fleck 5600sxt downflow) to replace a 20-year-old culligan unit, and a ball valve replaced that was corroding on an outdoor Faucet. When they sweated the 3/4"" ball valve on they let the lead drip all over a desk below and didn't clean it up. Really unprofessional. Have some pride in your work please. They also didn't wipe the flux off the pipe/valve and of course a year later it's all corroded again. As far as the water softener: I wasn't crazy about the three-quarter pex ( I previously had copper) they installed because it's actually not three-quarter when you look at the inner diameter which has less volume. Pre-charged system tank leaked after a few years and I ended up re-pressuring it.
They said it should be fine and of course it leaked again and destroyed my well pump. Basically my pump ran all the time When I called John to discuss the pump they fought me on the warranty so I just said the hell with it and hired the company that put my well pump in to replace it. The pump doctor, well pump specialist replaced my pump within 24 hours and put in the pre-charged water tank. It Was also really annoying when I had them come to check on my system and John looked at the system, checked the pH and hardness on my water and after 15 minutes wanted a check for $250. Do yourself a favor and hire a local real plumber to put in a better quality system. It'll pay for itself in the end.

Buyer beware! Had my system serviced in April 2019. WTF - upon the inspection I was told that the softener system was not working properly. The water was not running thru the salt and then thru the tank that removes the salt before entering the pipes in the house. $1,400 he wanted to replace the system since ""they do not sell parts to fix anything"" - I supposedly had a piston leaking that was causing the system to not work.
OK, I had him disconnect the salt portion of the system leaving the crushed granite filter running. LIAR. First shower after disconnecting the salt and I can tell you, the salt system was working just fine...with the leaky piston. The water has changed completely upon the disconnect. Now I will have to reconnect the system.

I'm thinking of stopping payment on my check!!

I WOULD NOT PAY THIS MAN TO DO ANYTHING IN MY HOME AGAIN.

Hey AquaTech, I will hire and pay for someone else to come in and do any work that is now needed.

This particular AquaTech person was annoyed from the minute he stepped into my house (not the first time AquaTech was here) and had an attitude the entire house call.

People, beware...the decent money is made by selling new equipment. Not fixing something existing. I wouldn't trust this company any longer, even if their service was free!

They installed watersoftner, had dirty water after first regeneration, had to inform Angies List & BBB, 2 1/2 months after the fact they called. They do not HONOR there warranty.There truck goes by my house every AM & PM. Had to call in another water company to repair. Consumer BEWARE
