As a small business owner I am aware of the impact these reviews can have on a business and tend to not post anything bad but this story I have to share.
I called Aqua Plumbing to professionally repair/replace a leaky PVC Compression Coupling on a main line. The office lady (very nice) informed me of their rate $131/hour + parts; I agreed and scheduled the visit. The plumber arrived as scheduled did the repair and left. Here is the interesting part.
The pipe was already dug out, he just got the water out of the hole, tightened up the same compression coupling (did not replace it), spent 45 min to watch if it still leaks, left and charged $262.
Apparently Aqua Plumbing starts their timer when the plumber leaves his house (which was not disclosed during during the initial phone call), you pay him at a full rate of $131/hour for all the drive time, then the repair time and the time he spends watching dirt dry (45 minutes). BTW who watches a coupling for 45 minutes to see if it still leaks?
Anyways, the initial bill was $262 to tighten the old compression coupling - the office manager was again nice to me and dropped it to $131 after we spoke.

I found Aqua to be nice and friendly but less then honest or transparent.
When I sent up the appointment I was quoted a price of 130.00 per hr plus parts with no hidden fees but it turned into 350.00 per hr or 500 percent mark up on parts any way you look at it the total job took about 3 hours and 125.00 in parts if I purchased them a home Depot total bill 1200.00
At the time of service I knew that there was an issue the plumber himself wouldn't give me an invoice or an idea of how much I owed.
Personally I am not very handy but I could of have do the job myself in less time for a tenth of the cost shame on me and shame on the state for licensing Aqua plumbing ""definitely don't need to rip people off to earn a living""

It's most unfortunate that I must give 1 star. Firstly, Artie gave me a ""second opinion"" quote on a previous plumber's quote. Said it was too high and that there was about $1700 worth if work, tops. Someone came and did the work (not even Artie) and only replaced HALF of the pipe that was cracked. Pulled a toilet upstairs, that was not even in need of repairs, leaving me with one working toilet in the master bathroom. While waiting to negotiate money with my contractor (???) he decided that there was more work that needed to be done without even coming back to my house but told the restoration company that no further plumbing work needs to be done. Another $1900 worth of work to be exact. My contractor said, no other work is neccessary so I cancelled my appointment. Get a bill for $2200. Recap: Only HALF of the cracked pipe was replaced, no other work was done and the toilet that was pulled was never replaced yet, I recieved a bill for almost double the original ""guesstimate"". All because I chose to go with a different contractor then the one Artie wanted me to use. Dirty, dirty tactics. I had a $50,000 flood loss on my property and they swooped in for a piece. Disgraceful. Now on top of everything I've had to deal with this mess as well. They should be in jail for fraud. Very dishonest people.
I've had to start a complaint with the contractor's board. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I can not stress this enough.

I had a leak thats been going on for quite sometime. Lots of rust and gunk around where the leak was.

I never write reviews unless they are positive. Today I called as I have been requesting some information for over a month and no one has responded. I was very polite in asking for help for a third time. The girl who answered was so rude. Just a heads up Aqua Plumbing....perhaps the young lady that is your first point of contact for potential customers needs to act a little more professional and a lot less like a brat.

This company is pure fraud. They do work without authorization or quotes - the only proof of work BTW was the damage done to my property. After the work was supposedly done, I kept asking for a price, which took a week (display of complete incompetence) then when I let them know that I had received quotes for half that price and was willing to work with them (even though legally they owe me money) I was told I owe nothing (which is in writing) then I get a bill emailed! This is just mind boggling that they are in business and not in jail. Don't call them for an estimate unless you want to deal with a thief in court. I'm really shocked they have a good review but I'm assuming it's a friend because I've never seen such an obvious display of straight theft. After contacting the bbb they agreed that I owe nothing and said it was lack of communication between departments. So I now have 3 correspondence with this thief that no money is owed and somehow I still continue getting stalked and harassed for the money I don't owe! They even posted a notice on my door! Really this guy belongs in jail, not running a business. I've never seen this amount of illegal activity in one company.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I was in the process of buying a house but due to issues found by the home inspector I decided to call a plumber to get more detailed issues with the house plumbing system.

My realtor called Aqua Pumbling who quoted at $150 so I met the plumber at the site. The plumber was very polite but after spending approximately 30 minutes at the site he states that the total charge would be $250 as they charge for the drive time. I did not argue with him so after he departed I called my realtor who called the office and after a few days she was able to get the price back to $150.

Be aware that they will try to give you a cheaper quote over the phone and try to rip you off once they are at the site.
