I am a new homeowner and new to my area, I have called Aqua Plumbing when I thought my water heater was going out. They were extremely helpful and sent someone out. When they could not diagnose the issue they sent me in the right direction. I used them again in the middle of a panic right before a graduation party on a Friday of a holiday weekend they ensured I would have someone out that same afternoon to fix my shower. I have nothing but great things to say about Kayla and the staff at Aqua!

We bought our home in 2018 and had a home warranty. Unfortunately the home warranty company chose Aqua to fix our AC unit because they had the lowest bid. They tried fixing our 30 year old unit multiple times (it took multiple weeks) and one day we came home and had a new one. Sounds great right? Well, we never saw a technician nor got to speak to one. We also had a hard time with Aqua relaying information to our home warranty company so we had to be mediators. Aqua ended up charging us $200 for a new line set. A month later (the end of summer) we contacted another company to come check our unit because the entire line was froze. They ended up saying that Aqua must not have fully charged it, so they charged it with freon.

We called the other company to come out in the beginning of the summer in 2019 when our AC line froze up again. So we had the other company charge it again and told us to contact Aqua to get the leak figured out.
I called Aqua and inquired about them charging us for the line set since no one was home to let them inside. They asked me for pictures of proof that the line set was not changed, so I took them. Then I got a reply of ""the technician said he was going to come back to do that, but forgot."" So they said they would come out and change the line set.

Upon recommendation to fix the AC issue we had our furnace replaced, we replaced our entire NEST system, replaced the air filters to the bare minimum and had our air ducts cleaned. Nothing helped the AC hold its charge for longer than one month.

Now in 2020, Aqua has been coming out at least once month to charge the AC unit. I finally contacted the sales rep for the AC unit and they gave Aqua a call and led Aqua through how to find a possible leak. The sales rep also told me the unit only has a 5 year warranty because no one registered it for the 10 year warranty (never was told from Aqua).

This most current AC charge only lasted a week before the line froze and the technician told me ""there was a very small leak and you only lost 4 lbs of Freon."" He also told me that on the other side of town kids were stealing Freon and snuffing it. I told him that we have security cameras, motion lights, the AC is out in the open next to a well traveled street and we live in a retirement community. This makes me think that they are having issues with other units holding charge, but blame it on outside issues. The AC company told me that all of this sounds like a pretty major leak and that it needs fixed.

Yesterday I called their office because I am gathering all files in case we end up having more issues. I was told by the office person that they have not been recording all of their visits to our house because they are under warranty and they are considering them the same issue. I think they need to record everything, otherwise how can they ever actually know the history of what has been happening!? It also has not be recorded how often they have been charging my AC unit or by how much!

Would give negative stars if possible. Scammed my warranty company out of 100's. Reporting and reviewing everywhere humanly possible. The office lady is a real piece of work. Thank God the warranty co has a paper trail to prove my story!

Okay, so we have a 'extra' new homeowner's insurance policy that we purchased with our new home that covers almost everything that can go wrong in the first year. We filed a service order with American Home Shield, because our water heater was leaking, and Aqua Plumbing and Heating was the vendor assigned to the issue. After 1 week, I heard NOTHING, as they were supposed to contact us, not the way around, so I contacted them. The receptionist promised me that things would be taken care of shortly, and 4 days later, still nothing. Now, it's been almost two weeks, so I call them again, they tell me they received nothing....even though I know they did, as they had all of our contact information in order to call us several times once we cancelled our service call with them.... I made sure American Home Shield was aware of this, and I hope that they do not assign them to ANYONE else. A leaking water heater can cause flooding for goodness sakes! I think that this company is lazy and has horrible customer service.
