They responded to our call very quickly. They did a great job fixing our septic clog in a timely manner for a reasonable price. We will definitely use them again if we need a plumber.

I hired this company Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Services to look under my sink as a small leak was starting. I thought it might be my garbage disposal. However, their employee (who came with a trainee) and claimed to be a plumber looked and said I needed new faucet. He charged me close to $300 for the faucet and install. It didn't stop the leak. He also claimed I needed a new garbage disposal, which all told would be an additional $600 on top of the $300. After he installed the faucet and it did not stop the leak, I felt compelled to make an appointment the next day for the garbage disposal. However, after they left I had a bad feeling about it and called a neighborhood plumbing outfit. I let them know what had occurred and one of the plumbers said he would stop by and look on his way home. He came in and in 15 minutes he had tightened the garbage disposal, which was all it needed. He said I did not need a new faucet nor did I need a new garbage disposal. The garbage disposal had just become a little loose and needed to be tightened. He did not charge me anything. I never had another leak.

I've used Aqua a few times now, for basic furnace repairs, and to replace a water heater & a furnace. The y have great customer service.
Their repair guys are always courteous and friendly and review all my options without any pressure. Their response time is great- especially when I've been without heat in the dead of winter.
I highly recommend.
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they are on the expensive side. Their charge for replacements were within ranges quoted on google, but on the high end. Then again, they've always done great work and you get what you pay for.
As others suggest, get another estimate before going ahead with a costly repair just to make sure it's a fair quote.

the company pricing is completely outrages, a friend called them out because of an issue with the shower they charged $3000 for a little bit of demo and could not even figure out the problem

This company overcharges client even by their own standards. their hourly rate is $192 and did 4.5 hours of work, charged me $900 but then asked for $300 more. No materials provided by them. Just labor. The original job was repipe everything and cost was $1800 and already paid $900 down before job started. Later they realized no repiping needed. The guy did a good job, so this is not a complaint about the quality of work. But all he did was cleaning off the rust deposit within the shower heads and replaced 3 internal rotted parts of the shower heads.

Talked to the owner Jim, he said initially offered $120 off. I said no because its even more than what I should be paying for. Ask yourself if you will be paying $700+ for some guy to clean. your shower heads and change out some of the shower head component while he is at it? Then he said ""go ahead and defame us on Angi"" - well...the truth is all the data points mentioned above were all from him!! The $192 (ridiculously expensive) hourly rate and all the electronic timestamps. I also had an invoice that state $300 discount only after I complained to the workman who asked for $300 AFTER I already paid $900 (Yep I have documentation on that). $300 was put in as ""discount"" because he called Jim on the phone in front of me to ask for ""discount"". ( Jim said he is only owner and the worker Ryan said he was calling the owner to ask for forgiveness of that $300 so interesting to hear that Jim claimed ignorance of that!!!! ) He got mad when I confronted him for asking me for an additional $300. I didnt see the point haggling with a greedy business man and I just hung up. So here's the lesson I learned: DO NOT WORK WITH THESE CROOKS WHO OVERCHARGE YOU!!! Now I learned if the original job is scrapped, ask for quote for new job. DO NOT just let them go ahead without asking for the cost up front. Thats the only regret on my part.

We needed a new sink and faucet installed. I called and was impressed they were able to come out the same day to give a quote. (We had purchased the sink and faucet ourselves). We received quotes that were very pricey, almost like they didn't want to take the job. I called another company and they came the next day, installed the sink and faucet for about 75% less than Aqua's quote. And the most irritating part is the worker that came out said it would be a minimum of 12 hours and perhaps even a two day project. Seriously, for a sink and faucet? I got MidCity Plumbing out a few days later (they had a last minute cancellation) after getting a quote of an hourly rate and estimated time of 3 hours.

Make sure you do your research and seek appropriate professional help. We did not have the time in our case and Aqua Plumbing was responsive so we didn't question too much and kept going back to them. However, during the last job, dryer vent cleaning, we found out how unequipped and inadequate they were. They overcharged us and the job wasn't complete. We gave them another chance by calling back after confirming that our dryer was not the problem (newly bought and had manufacturer tech came out to check). Got the wishy wash answer and tried to charge us when they didn't resolve the problem. We ended up getting another company to do the cleaning from start to finish that costed us less than what we paid for with Aqua who refused to reimburse us for the botched job they did (we asked for the refund to be at least the cost of the other company's cleaning).

Long story short, we're writing this as a caution to whoever is seeking this company service. They overcharge for their labor. The professional help you're seeking will not be found here. If anything, they are pretty responsive to get your money. Do your research and seek help elsewhere.

I wish I had done more research before calling this company. They charged me $1000+ to install a laundry sink that sells for $179 at Home Depot. They didn't even bolt it to the ground.

Showed up and advised worker Mohammed that we had detached the drain off to try and clear the blockage. Proceeded to rod the drain without reattaching the drain thereby dousing my basement with everything from the drain. Then proceeded to tell me that he didn't have the part on him to fix the unattached drain and he would return the next day for another $800. We reattached the drain for no charge and spent the better part of a day cleaning up the mess Mohammed left. Also wrote in his decription of the work that we told him the drain was unattached. They responded quickly but careful for what you wish for.
