I have worked with Vinny S. the service manager for several years. He is hard working and dedicated to getting the job done. Approved handles the majority of our service calls and oil deliveries. During the winter months when oil was in short supply by other companies, Approved always came through for our buildings.

I have a good working relationship with their customer service dept. I have dealt with Ralph, Terry, Karen, Carmen and many others who have been very helpful.

I recommend using Approved for your oil and service needs.

I have been using approved oil for my business for the the past 10 years for oil and for boiler service. Their deliveries are always prompt. When I recently had an issue with my boiler the repairman was here with in an hour. I need a boiler for my business to function so I was so grateful for their speedy repair. My boiler was up and running in no time! I highly recommend using approved oil.

It would be nice if they set up there online payments already, it's only been the 2nd year of coming soon. Yes, there prices are above average and if your a little late they begin to harrass you. Almost impossible not to be late when the average bill is anywhere from $600.00 to $800.00. I will be changing soon also.

Very poor customer service, shoddy repairs, they come to fix issues over and over again. Their delivery truck drivers are rude and arrogant, double parking in front of their store on 5th ave. Idling their diesel engines and blocking traffic flow, obstructing bus stop lanes, and not to mention the harmful fumes from the diesel exhaust. Owners don't care about the environment or courtesy to peoples lives. Switch to GAS heating!

I am the owner of a legal two family home. My tenants chose to use Approved Oil as their Oil delivery company and were late with their bill. Approved Oil began making harassing phone calls to myself threatening to put a lean on my home, even though the tenants who owed the money held no ownership in my property. There was a time when we used Approved Oil ourselves, but their service was so poor that we changed after one season. These are the type of improperly run family owned businesses that give small businesses a bad name.

Day before the marathon of course I have no heat! The guy who answered the phone said it would be an issue if the street would be blocked so they sent someone last night to make sure I was up and running before it got cold. Not too bad. I'm thinking about locking in on Monday.

It's a breath of fresh air in this corporate world to deal with a local family owned business. Call them and speak to a pleasant person, be treated like a human being and get a good deal like I did.

We used this company to deliver home heating oil for a year. They hook you with an intro deal and then charge very high prices--$4.29 a gallon last fall. When I asked the director of sales about this, he said the billing dept. had made a mistake. Said the price should have been under $4 a gallon. Would refund me the difference. When I called back, they had changed their mind. He said, ""Who says what the real price is, anyway?"" I said HE had. I think they're slippery and I have switched. Recommend others do the same.
