Our forced air furnace stopped working, and a friend recommended we call Andrew.

Over the phone (on a Friday evening before most folks are heading into a break/vacation) he took at least 30 minutes to walk me through troubleshooting the furnace until we had it working again. He even waited for me to find my camera and send him a photo when we got stuck after trying the first couple of things.

Not only did Andrew clearly know exactly how to work through all the possible problems until we found a solution, but he politely refused any compensation (pie, beer, or money) when I asked how we could thank him.

Obviously this can't be his usual business model (since he didn't make any money), but after a week without heat, my family (3-year-old and baby included) are extremely grateful for his knowledge and generosity.

I can't speak to how he might be as far as communication and completeness on other jobs, but at least as a human being Andrew is 5-star.

I had Andrew install a new A/C unit after my neighbor just had him do the same thing. He came over and gave me an estimate, and the very next day he was there installing the new one. He noticed my ducting wasn't routed as efficient as it could have been and re routed that as well. His estimate price was exactly what he charged me and he even threw in a new concrete pad as I wanted to change the location of the unit. More recently I had him re plumb my kitchen and he did a super job in a very timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

F**Kn Joke!!! STAY AWAY!!! I'm calling the Better Business Bureau. For a Rental in Scotts Valley, Paid $5200 and once the whole payment was made NEVER saw the guy again. He sent some flunky guy that had no idea what he was doing. I had to pay another $2200 to another excellent guy to FIX what this F**Kn guy did to clean up the mess he did. He still owes me a lot of work and will not see him again. This started in October and I waited months to get him to do the work. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Andrew knows exactly what he's doing. Came in a bit brusquely but it turns out it's because he wants to isolate the problem and fix it and not dally around. Great communication, timely, expert knowledge, efficient, fairly priced. I highly recommend this man/business (we used him for a propane furnace issue) for any and all appliance repair.

This guy is a joke!!! His number was given to me through a parts center that recommended him. I called him to come out because my oven isn't working properly. One burner is completely out and the oven isn't working at all. He came out and charged me a service fee. He tore apart the stove and said it would be $420 for parts and labor. Fine! He left and told me that he would order the parts. I called him constantly: I need my oven fixed! I only spoke with him a couple of times in the beginning and then he wouldn't answer my calls unless I called from a number that he either didn't recognize or block. It's been 3 months. He's a scam artist. Once he gets his service fee he's finished??? Don't waste your time with this guy! ASAP??? I don't think so!

We had a heater and tankless water heater installed a few months ago. We then went to sell our home and there were a few issues with some things coming lose and needing to be adjusted to be exactly perfect for the buyers and their lender. I called Andrew to complete the repairs, he came out with no problem and fixed everything that needed to be done. He was very fast and a pleasure to deal with. He is very nice and friendly.

ASAP? Try FOREVER. We had them come out to repair an oven. They left after jimming with the wiring. 30 minutes later it didn't work again.
They couldn't come until A WEEK later. Then they said they needed to order the whole electric board and that would take a week.
Fast forward to two weeks later. They come out and they ordered the wrong part. Now we have been without an oven for a MONTH.
Save yourself a month and go with someone else.
Now we have to try to get the refund for the work they did that didn't work at all! Fun!

I read reviews that Andrew is flaky, but called him bcz a friend uses him. He replaced my water heater. All was positive at that point. Then I realized the installation was incomplete with the original furnace exhaust left unconnected. A simple thing. A quick call, and Andrew said he would be by that evening. No show. Multiple unreturned phones calls over the next few weeks. When I complained to my friend he admitted it often takes multiple calls, so I tried a couple more times. I guess he's embarrassed himself and wont call back at this point. I hope I don't have to use this guy to honor the warranty on the new water heater. My advice is stay clear of this guy.

After reading all the negative reviews I just had to write the review and give my opinion.
I had ASAP install a complete heating and air conditioning unit in my new home. I got a great price and great workmanship. In fact the building inspector when signing off on the work and equipment commented on the neatness of the system installation and ask who did the work. Give this company a chance to bid on your system! I like all the help and suggestions Andrew Nappier gave. He is a solid guy with over 30 years of experience.......
