Please consider the reviews on this company seriously! I had to give them one star, because you have too. Please call anyone else to do any work on your home. I beg you to not use this company at all.
I contacted them, because I thought my hot water tank had quit. It was another issue. So, I had Jeremy look at the hot water tank while he was here. I live in a condo with a small space underneath the stairs were the hot water tank is located. He told me it was working, but that it was 13 years old. I decided to be proactive and have a new hot water tank installed. They came on Thursday. Installed new tank by Nick and Michael and that's the last day I have had hot water. I called Friday to let them know I had no hot water. Kevin came out and ""said it tripped the breaker and I should have hot water in 45 mins to an hour"". Not so, called and of course they were closed and I left a message. Christine called and said that Kevin had said it was electrical and there was nothing more they could do. I told her Kevin never mentioned their was a problem and I should have hot water. She told me she would have the manger call and he was going to say they something.
I spent over 1500.00 dollars for a hot water tank that doesn't produce hot water. I had hot water before they showed up, so if it's electrical why didn't I have problems before.
Again, I beg you not to use this company . No customer service. Got their money and they are done. Never looked to see if it was hooked up properly or check to see if it had even been set to the right temperature!!!
Discussed need to replace bathtub faucets over phone. Came late and they declined job because it was too hard or complicated. Waste of time
Michael arrived at our house to remove our leaking water heater for warranty service. He quickly saw what the problem was and that we did NOT need to replace the water heater. Instead, he installed a pressure relief tank for 1/8th the cost of what another plumbing company had quoted. His work was efficient and professional.
Rich G.Horrible experience ! After buying a hot water heater at Lowe's, they told me to use these guys. I called them and they never called me back, I had to call them. I finally got in contact with Vinny he then informed me a of $500.00 dollar up charge for various items, that can only can be purchased for the back of his truck. No thank you ! And I don't want to see your plumber butt either, probably Xtra.
Horrible. I called for service and they couldn't even return my call as most professional services do.
I was told ""they make their own schedule"" Apparently they pick and chose who they server as well. I'd give a negative zero but I'm not allowed.
I paid to Lowe's at Bedford for a water heater and its installation. When the water heater arrived, the installer (APPC) asked for 150% more than their standard list price. It is a standard service to replace the old dying 75-Gallon AO Smith by a new one of the same model. The only item not anticipated, according to them, was to change the expansion tank (part $35-65, labor-0.5 hours), and everything else was included in the standard list. If Lowe's does not fire this type of independent contractors, I would not trust this store to be a source for my home improvement needs. By the way, with the same list price I paid to Lowe's, I obtained the installation service from amazon.com with no questions being asked and the project finished smoothly. The standard rate of plumbing service is about $40-70 per hour, it is ridiculous for these plumbers to charge $1100-$2300 labor cost to replace a water heater regardless the size of water heaters. Mine is 75-Gallon with power vent, and the total time to finish the replacement, including the change of the expansion tank was 2.5 hours by one person ( a second person helped to move the new one in and old one out for less than 10 minutes and left).
I had the worst experience with APPC plumbing. We are currently selling our house and in our inspection it came up that we have to replace the water expansion tank. I called APPC plumbing and they could get someone out the next day. Chris came out and said all the tank needed was some more air. He was really nice and I appreciated that he didn't change the tank if it didn't need changing. 3 days later I go in the basement and there is water everywhere. Water is coming out of the water heater. I call the plumbing service and they send someone else out. Greg was very nice as well and he stopped the water coming out of heater. Not sure about technical terms but he said the screw on the bottom is very sensitive and the person who came out previously hadn't turned it to the right spot. I understand mistakes can happen but it's all about how you handle them. I asked Greg to call the manager and ask if they would pay for the fan rental to get my floors dry and he said no. After I rented the fans and had to throw out some carpeting I called the manager Eric again. Asking them to cover the cost which was like $50. He made it sound like it was my fault. He said I was to cheap to get the tank replaced and that's what happens. He was extremely rude and the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Do not ever do business with these people!!!
My parents bought a toilet at Home Depot. My dad can't really do an installation anymore and it was a fairly urgent situation so they paid for installation and were told APPC Plumbing would call to set up a time to come out and install the toilet. They didn't. After four days my mom called Home Depot and they called APPC while my mom was on hold. She was assured that APPC would call and Home Depot would follow up. Neither of those things happened. By day six my parents went and got a refund for installation and my husband and I installed the toilet. Maybe it was too small a job and APPC didn't want to be bothered? Also, shame on Home Depot for not following up and getting some else, but they still had their sale. I only gave them one star because it is required. They shouldn't even get that since they didn't do the work.
Joanne M.Unfortunately Thanksgiving dinner ended up with a blocked kitchen drain related to too much use of a garbage disposal. Family's attempt to help didn't open the drain. I called APPC at the recommendation of my hair stylist.
Although they couldn't fit me in on Friday, they did come on Saturday at no additional charge. Greg arrived at 11 a.m., 30 minutes earlier than expected and fixed the clogged drain. He tested it before leaving and left the space clean and buttoned up. Good service!
Renee S.Needed a new hit water tank in a hurry! Found them through Home Depot and glad they use them. Steve was on time, very friendly and did great work. He also made sure to show me all changes to bring me up to code. In and out in no time! Highly recommend them!
