I needed a new 38 gallon water heater for the condo, but kind of regret using this company. The service technician was a nice guy and I have to hand it to him, he had perseverance as the job took 10 and 1/2 hours (from the time he originally arrived until the time he was finished). The bill was over $2100.00 and along the way he had to rip out sheetrock, swap out attachments that came with the tank (so it would fit) and damaged my countertop to shoehorn it in.

I'm not sweating the new code requirements because it never would have fit otherwise.

Very happy with our experience. We did a full replacement of our system, and each person we interacted with was professional and friendly. Tristan and Tony were both fantastic as were the work crew. They did a full diagnostic evaluation that included both pictures and video of the old system.

Pros: service was prompt, technicians were knowledgeable, courteous and clean, finished the job (cracked elbow in mainline and pressure valve replacement) rapidly. No issues with the work.
Cons: PRICE!! Bring your calculator and do your research! They just show you a single price; don't separate out labor from materials so you don't know what you're paying for. They sent two technicians when one would have been fine (do I have to pay twice as much?). I dug the hole for them so time they would have spent is cut in half (did they take that into account?). The math shows that I paid over $500 per hour for each tech. In retrospect I should have said no thank you since it was such a simple fix. Please learn from my mistake.

Apollo staff came to my home to replace a faucet with minor problems. I had the replacement on hand, new in the box. Their plumber provided an extimate for over $700.00 dollars, estimating the work could take between 45 minutes and two two and a half hours. Either way, $700.00! I paid the $80.00 for this estimate, as their guy was not a negotiator. These folks opened and lined my main sewer line a while back, also came and cleaned my kitchen drain. Great work and great people for both issues. Main sewer work was $7000.00, kitchen work was $200.00. This estimate was quite a gouge. Three hundred dollars per hour is a little silly, especially for an existing customer. No telling what they might expect for a new customer. Keep your eyes open.
